CONCLUSION -
The care label contains information on how to take care of the apparel. The beautiful textile materials can
be deteriorated due to exposure to the specific environment and conditions such as washing, drying,
ironing, bleaching and dry cleaning. Thus it has been imperative to have care label on apparels so as to
retain their original properties. Care label is vital to consumer to the extent that it may influence the
purchase decision. Some suggestive opinions can also be put forward like wash care labels should have
more symbols instead of texts but then also care should be taken that the customers are able to decipher
its meaning. One more is that, for wash care conditions like dark colours should be washed separately or
printed materials should not be ironed can be expressed in labels through symbols.

SPECIAL TEST INSTRUCTIONS – Like care instructions these garments should be also tested, that should be
secure and safe for the babies, we have to checked the special test like button pull test for garment 3, and
Pull (chain) test for garment 1.
Accessories are parts added to the garment, usually by stitching. Testing the strength of the stitching or
other bonding material is a necessary step in most garment inspections.
Buttons must be tested for colour fastness to water and garment durability, As per BS 4162.
