RECRUITMENT OF WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT GRADE‐II
Central Warehousing Corporation, Regional Office, Kolkata invites applications for
recruitment to the post of Warehouse Assistant Grade‐II in the State of West Bengal in the scale
of Rs 8900‐24320/‐ under IDA pattern who fulfill the following qualification, age etc under
different categories as follows:
General SC OBC PH

Minimum Educational Qualification Matriculation from Government recognized
education Board/CBSE
Typing Speed (In Computer) 30 words per minute
Age as on 01.04.2015 Between 18 years and 25 years
Age relaxations to special categories will be as per Government Guidelines.
GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR CANDIDATES:
1. Candidates should apply in the format prescribed only in A‐4 size paper neatly typed
along with requisite fees (wherever applicable) and documents should be sent to the
Regional Manager, Central Warehousing Corporation, 15‐N, Nellie Sengupta Sarani,
CMC Buildings, 6th
Floor, Kolkata‐700 087 on or before 09.11.2015 upto 05.00 p.m.
2. Employees of State/ Central Govt/ Public Sector Undertaking should get their
application routed through proper channel, so as to reach the office of the Regional
Manager, Central Warehousing Corporation, Kolkata on or before the last date i.e.
09.11.2015.
3. General and OBC candidates shall submit their application along with the non‐
refundable application fee of Rs 300/‐ (Rupees Three Hundred)only through Demand
Draft drawn in favour of the Regional Manager, Central Warehousing Corporation,
Kolkata payable at Kolkata from any Nationalized Bank. No fee for SC/ST candidates.
Payment other than Demand Draft will not be accepted.
4. The OBC candidate should clearly mention as to whether they belong to Creamy Layer
or not.
5. Self attested Photostat copies of documents in proof of Age, Educational Qualification,
Caste Certificate, Two Passport size recent photographs, Experience Certificate, if any,
should be attached with the application.

6. The envelope containing application superscribing “ APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF
WAG‐II IN CWC, KOLKATA REGION” should reach the office of the Regional Manager at
the above address on or before 09.11.2015 upto 05.00 p.m by post only.
7. Application received after the due date including delay on the part of postal delay shall
not be considered and will be returned back without entertaining.
8. Candidates called for written test and typing test will not be paid TA/DA/Fare etc.
9. Before applying for the post, candidates should satisfy themselves about Age and
Qualifications.
10. Candidates furnishing false information / suppression of fact found at any stage, will be
liable for cancellation of candidature and termination from service.
11. Any attempt to influence from any level will disqualify their candidature
12. The services of selected candidates shall be governed as per CWC Staff Regulations
1986 and Government of India Service Rules, as applicable.
13. Mere submission of application and fulfilling the eligibility conditions gives no right to
any person to appear for written test. Only eligible short‐listed candidates will be called
for written test and typing test.
14. All the short listed/eligible candidates of all categories shall have to qualify typing speed
@ 30 words per minute which shall be conducted on Computer to be arranged by the
Central Warehousing Corporation.
15. The candidates should ensure that they are not prosecuted/debarred from the Court of
Law.
16. Regional Manager, Central Warehousing Corporation, Kolkata reserves the right to
scrap/ cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reasons.
