2. Mt. Kiska: Active Location: Latitude: 52.1031° NLongitude: 177.6035° E 4003 ft (1220 m) Last known eruption: June 1, 1990 Kiska Volcano is a stratovolcano, 8.5 by 6.4 km in diameter at its base and 1221 meters high. It is a cinder cone volcano, and it’s southern part has been glacially eroded.

3. Mt. Iliamna: Active- Mt. Iliamna is very broad and deep. It is a roughly cone-shaped mountain at the north end of a 5-km-long ridge. The volcano is a typical composite stratovolcano composed of interbeddedandesite lava flows and pyroclastic rocks. Carlisle: Inactive- Location- Latitude: 52.8906° N Longitude: 170.0576° W Height- 5315 ft (1620 m) Last known eruption- November 16, 1987 Carlisle consists of a single symmetric cone, 1524 m high and 6.5 km in diameter at sea level. The western margin of the island consists of a small plateau at an elevation of 50 meters, showing the possibility that the Carlisle stratovolcano is constructed on an emergent marine terrace.

Kanaga Volcano: Active- Location: Latitude: 51.9242° N Longitude: 177.1623° W Height- 4288 ft (1307 m) Last known eruption: June 11, 1996 It is a symmetric composite cone 1307 m high and 4.8 km in diameter at sea level, built of interbedded basaltic and andesitic lava flows, scoria layers, and pyroclastic rocks. It has a round crater, of 200 meters across and 60 meters deep. It contains deposits of vent agglomerate and several active fumaroles.

6. Kasatochi Volcano: Inactive- Kasatochi Island represents the emergent summit of a submarine volcano. It has a dissected cone with a central lake-filled crater about 0.75 km in diameter. Cinder cone volcano- A steep conical hill made up of volcanic fragments the collect around and downwind from a volcanic vent. Interbedding- Occurs when beds of rock lie between or alternate with beds of a different material. Andesite- An extrusive igneous and volcanic rock of intermediate composition. Pyroclastic- Clastic rocks made of volcanic materials.
