John Dewey was a famous 20th century philosopher who greatly influenced American education. He believed that the only worthwhile knowledge was information that could be used, and considered it pointless to memorize useless facts. Dewey felt that schools should teach thinking processes and skills, rather than just facts. As a result of his influence, schools now teach a broader range of subjects and skills beyond academics, including things like driver's education, cooking, sex education, behavior control, music, science experiments, and democratic principles. Kindergarten classes now include some early academic topics like letters, numbers, colors and shapes, as most children entering kindergarten have already had experiences in preschool or day care settings.

First, homeschooling very flexible and therefore providing for.docxAKHIL969626
First, homeschooling very flexible and therefore providing for the need to teach the
students according to their abilities. It is important to note that different children are characterized
by unique learning abilities. The child who grasps concepts quickly can save the time at being
taught faster so that they can concentrate on other things and enabling them to specialize early
enough. Also, the slow learner can be taught slowly by their tutors and thus provide then with
enough time to grasp the content. Additionally, after the child saves time by concentrating on the
class work for a very short time, they might consume the rest of the time in their talents and thus
develop the child all round without draining their talents and thus become all round. The public
schooling mixes all the students in the same class without considering their difference in the
abilities and thus demoralizing other while some part of the class feel their time is wasted (Ray,
2015).
Homeschooling is a short cut since the parent can have enough time with the children. The
child’s development is highly based on the quality of parenting they receive at their early age of
development. In this case, the parents have enough time and therefore, the ability to show their
children more love, and train them in the way they want to be in the next generation. It is important
also to note that, most parents send their children to public schools, but they still want to follow
up and get involved in the education of the child which becomes hectic on the side of the trainers.
For example, not all schools are Christian, and the parent would wish the child on the Christian
ways, which is then possible only in homeschooling (Phillips, 2014). Additionally, if the child is
good in mathematics but poor in English, he is encouraged to major in mathematics and drop the
weaker subjects and thus saving time.
In homeschooling, the parent can prepare own time table. It is important to teach the child
at the times when they can grasp more (Wenkart, 2014). Additionally, you do not require following

James Watkins: You need to create a title that will pull readers into your essay and make your argument or main idea clear. I would also include a cover page with your name, the date, and the title.

James Watkins: In a sense, I think you are putting the cart (the problem or issue) before the horse (the solution, or your thesis). As presented, this seems like a solution in search of a problem. What problem is homeschooling designed to address? That is where your essay needs to begin.
James Watkins
James Watkins: Is this your thesis? If so, it is not particularly assertive or clear. Arguably, this diversity of learners is why the classroom learning environment is so successful.

The child is the father of the man, noted poet William Wordsworth. What Wordsworth meant remains true, as childhood has a huge influence on the man or woman the youngster eventually becomes. Preschool can make a profound difference in the life of a child.

The preschoolers in Ms. Mimi’s classroom are very busy throughout the day, work-
ing on emerging pretend-play skills, turn taking, conflict management, phonologi-
cal awareness, math knowledge, and other academic, behavioral, and social skills.
Ms. Mimi knows that young children’s readiness for school comes with increased
expectations for academic skills, but she worries that her preschoolers are not get-
ting enough experience with social skill building. When her supervisor comes for a
visit, Ms. Mimi shares her concern that she may not be meeting her preschoolers’
social needs. She says, “Some days I find myself worrying so much about teach-
ing literacy, numeracy, and all the other academic skills that I wonder if the children
have enough opportunities to learn how to get along with each other.”
Ms. Mimi’s concern is an impor-
tant one. Young children’s “readiness

low acceptance by peers in the early

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

knowledge was information that could be used
He considered it pointless to make student

John Dewey
He felt school should teach thinking processes

Dewey also influenced teaching techniques
3. The scope is very broad indeed
School teach a lot of skills and information once left for parent to teach at
home (driver’s education , cooking ,sex education …)
Also , some schools try to improve children ‘s behavior by teaching them
how to control anger and settle arguments in peaceful way
Science classes involve experimentation; the study of music involves
making music ; democratic principles are practiced in the student council,
school projects encourage creativity and teamwork
5. However , today at least half of the children who enter kindergarten have
already had these experiences in nursery school or day care settings
=> Kindergarten teacher have taken on the job of introducing some academic
( teaching letters ,numbers , color and shapes )
Free public education begins with kindergarten , usually half- day classed
for 5 year olds
6. Unlike many other countries ,the US has no national day –care system
Most American parent want their children to attend school before the age of 5
Moreover , since most mothers have jobs ,nursery school or day care is often
a necessity
Nursery schools serve 3-5 year olds ,mostly in half day programs
Many day – care center take younger children also ,the children can stay for
the whole day
