This assignment will take several stages to complete: Stage One: To create a corporate logo you must first have a company and a successful strategic plan. Using your best design as inspiration, develop a name for your company. Successfully complete a Strategic Plan for your newly founded company by defining these areas of your strategic plan. • Company Name • Company Objectives • Target Audience • Attitudes • Copy Points • Single Message Deliverable – Upload strategic plan to Oncourse (LastName_plan.doc) Stage Two: With the name for your company completed, decide on five different fonts that can be used with the logo. Find a font that will compliment the company name, the services provided, and most importantly reinforces your company’s single message. Think about the concept of timeless fonts versus trendy fonts and how they will affect the final outcome of your design. Print out the name of the company in each of these fonts. Try three different sizes for each name to help determine which font will look the best at reduced or enlarged sizes. Finally, narrow this to one final font to be used with your combination mark.
