2. • The Cabinet Secretary Government of India has conducted Web Conference with all the Chief
Secretaries of States / UTs on 31.10.2023 on Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra
• Government of Andhra Pradesh appointed the Special Chief Secretary, GSWS Department, the
Special Chief Secretary, PR &RD Department and the Commissioner & Director Municipal
Administration as State Nodal Officers for conducting Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra effectively.
• The Chief Secretary to Government has convened Web Conference with District Collectors and
given Orientation to them on 04.11.2023.
• Government of Andhra Pradesh has constituted State Level Committee and issued orders vide
G O Ms No.21, GSWS Department , Dated: 04.11.2023.
• Conducting State Level Committee 1st Meeting on 07.11.2023

3. • The Government of India, along with the States & UTs has been continuously striving for
Saturation of Welfare Schemes through its flagship programmes such as:
• Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (April - May 2018)
• Extended Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (June - August 2018)
• Achieving saturation, coverage of schemes and ensuring last mile delivery of flagship
schemes(National Conference of Chief Secretaries at Dharamshala, HP)
• Taking the same forward, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being planned by the Government
of India, to be conducted at National level to raise awareness through outreach activities to
achieve saturation of schemes from 15th November 2023 onwards.

have not benefited.
• Dissemination of Information and generating awareness about Schemes
• Learning from the citizens - Interaction with beneficiaries of Government schemes through
personal stories/experience sharing
• Enrolment of Potential beneficiaries through details ascertained during the Yatra

• Government of AP has appointed Special Chief Secretary, GSWS Department as State Nodal Officer.
• Government constituted Committee with the following members for effective coordination of Viksit
Bharat Sankalp Yatra Campaign under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary, GoAP.

6. • To be launched in 110 Districts Nationwide and in 2 Districts of Alluri Sitaram Raju and
Parvathipuram Manyam in Andhra Pradesh(having significant ST population) from 15th
November 2023 (Jan-Jaatiya Gaurav Divas) and in other Districts from 3rd week of November
2023.
• Nodal Ministries: M/o Agriculture & FW, MoTA, MoRD, MoHUA and M/o I&B.
• Activities planned in GP/VS over a week - Mobilisation, Awareness Creation, Community
Activities, Cultural Performances, etc.

• Covering 13,848 locations in 3749 Urban Local Bodies (with more than 10,000 population) – All

• Focus on Slums and Dense urban settlements
• Composition: LED Screen, Standees, Panels, Booklets, Brochures, and other engagement
activities.
• Content: Selected movies interspersed with Audio-Visual Content; Beneficiary Bytes, etc.

13. Support requested from District Administration
• District Collectors are requested to constitute a Committee of Senior Officials and co-opt 2
representatives from Government of India organizations/ institutions at District level.
• Issue instructions to the MPDOs and Municipal Commissioners with a direction to constitute committees for
coordination of campaign in Rural/Urban Areas.
• Finalise Manpower, Allocation of Vans, Event Venue and Route Plan of the Vans duly covering around 14
GPs/VSWSs per week and entering the data on IT Portal made by GoI for the same.
• Frame a Publicity Plan within District for awareness creation.
• Designate Panchayat Secretary/WAS as the Nodal Officer on the day of the event at GP/VSWS where the
event is being conducted.
• Issue instructions to all the VSWS Functionaries & Volunteers to conduct mobilisation and Awareness
generation activities and participate on the day of the event.
• Panchayat Secretary/WAS shall arrange necessary logistical arrangements on the day of the event.

• Head of the Panchayat to lead the campaign where the event is being conducted.
• Committee to be formed at GP/VSWS level with all VSWS functionaries. Following duties will be
given to these functionaries as Nodal Officers -
○ Mobilization, publicity & awareness generation activities - invite scheme beneficiaries
○ Coordinate meetings of Gram Sabha, members of CBOs
○ Arrange Cultural performances - Dharti Kahe Pukar ke, etc.
○ Jan-bhagidari - Swachhta Campaign, school/ college competitions, etc.
○ Finalisation of beneficiaries for “Meri Kahaani Meri Zubaani”
○ Arrangements for on-spot services and beneficiary camps
○ Logistics & Venue for IEC Van
• Uploading of information/ photos/ videos through Mobile App by the Panchayat Secretary/WAS.
