Presently I am working in the post of Institutional Development Expert (district Level) at Keonjhar
district under Water Resources Department, Directorate of CAD-PIM, PANIPANCHAYAT SUPPORT
UNIT, DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES, RAJIV BHAWAN, BHUBANESWAR, ODISHA continuing
from 27th
January 2014 to onwards
Objective of the Project: Make self-sufficient to PPs for providing multi disciplinary support through
convergence.
Work assignment:
• Educating and sensitized to stake holders through Awareness, Training, Exposure visit
program regarding objective of the Project.
• Updation of Beneficiary list of PP.
• Membership Enhancement up to 100%
• Regularize of CC/ EC/ GB and other Sub Committees in PP.
• Motivated women farmers for inclusion of Women as PP Membership.
• Re-election of PP as per PP Amendment Act, 2008.
• Inclusion of Women in EC (Minimum 1/3rd
).
• Bimonthly District Coordination Committee Meeting with all line departments for
convergence.
• Monthly Coordination Committee Meeting of PPDT level.
• Assist to PP functionaries for Maintenance of Records & Accounts.
• Prepared Documentation of best practice.
• Development of Corpus Fund through monthly contribution of PP Members
• Collection of Water tax will be doubled than the present status
• Rotational Irrigation system adopted in PPs.
• Prepared TNA and CB plan for stakeholders and conducting Training and Exposure visit programe.
• Collective action taken through PP representatives for sale and purchase of inputs in timely with value
addition prices.
• Prepared Crop plan and approved by GB as per water availabilities etc.

Work assignment:
• Planning and monitoring day-to-day activities with field training for newly appointed CO s.
• Regularize MC/GB/SC/CC level meeting of WUAs.
• Linkage with line department/private sector for input and technology support to WUAs.
• Formation and strengthen of Sub committees and Chak committees.
• Kharif yield increased through adoption of SRI/line transplanted method and FFS organized at chak
level.
• Rabi areas increased through saving tank water/planning for cash crop/ diversification of crops.
• Organized chak farmers for fond arrangement in collective way for purchasing inputs and Agro
implements for adoption of better technology.
• Organized WUAs for output marketing in collective way.
• Crop plan prepared at Chak level approved by GB of WUAs.
• Coordination with Engineers and WUA for PWT done, identified needs and priorities of works.
• Coordination with WRD for O & M, CAD channel construction taken by WUA.
• Assist WUAs for preparation of Water Budget, water distribution schedule preparation, strategy taken

Work assignment:
• Organize farmers for constitution of Water User Associations (WUA) election of office
bearers and Registered under 1860 Society registration Act.
• Formation and strengthen of Sub committees and Chak committees
• Organize Participatory walkthrough farmers and Engineers to develop outline Plan and

• Strengthen WUAs for taking rehabilitation works with keeping transparency.
