1. What inspiredyoutojoinEPGPand MBA?
I am Vasu Gupta, CA by profession. I am having 9.50 years of overall work experience in
banking and consulting. My professional experience has helped me achieve financial
expertise, but I now aspire to gain the right skills to stride forward.
I have encountered various hurdles while creating a process-centric culture rather than a
people-dependent one to ensure work is not dependent on the availability of one or two
critical members of the team. Challenges like this have led me to introspect on how I can
enhance my skill set to achieve my goals and hence I took the path of pursuing MBA.
Recognizing my drawbacks in critical management skills, I now feel the need to pursue a
structured management program such as EPGP from IIM Indore.
During my journey of 4 months in IIM Indore, EPGP program has helped me in enhancing
analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and in due course of time shall
provide me a strong platform to achieve my career aspirations. The program is a blend of
skill building and exploring good management practices. I am confident that the business
skills, market acumen, and holistic mindset that I will acquire at IIM Indore would give me the
perfect foundation to achieve my goal.
Also I am quite passionate about music and playing guitar. Then playing chords on guitar for
30 seconds.
