Area to Focus on
In other for Vel’s Afrika to achieve their ambitious missions and goals ,the below 3 areas should be
focused on as a matter of urgency
 Infrastructure(Website)-Test for performance, reliability and scalability
 Delivery of products-Integrate with a shipping partner to deliver goods internationally
 Product line-Increasing the number of products supported
Proposal
 Set Up a meeting with stakeholders to gather requirements- requirements gathering via

 Create To – Be Business process map
 Submit proposal for Project sign off by business stakeholders(Business case, SWOT Analysis,
project plan, methodology etc.)
 Set up a project team and define roles and responsibilities
 Using Moscow to prioritise requirements
Suggested Solution
1. Commercial Off the Shelf(COTS) solution or Bespoke system to solve website issue
2. Provision of concise delivery options(New shipment methods e.g. Partnering with reputable
delivery /shipping company
3. Automation of onboarding of Sellers
4. Integrating new payments methods(PayPal, international payment gateways)
Assumptions
Resources- End users will be available to test
during the time they agree to
Budget – Project costs will stay the same as
initially budgeted costs
Finances – Funding to complete the project will be
provided
Scope – The project scope will not change once the
stakeholders sign off on the scope statement
Project Process
I am proposing an 8–phase approach to implement the project
