Dr. Kashalikar discusses the benefits of consuming cow products like milk, ghee, curd, and urine. It is important to develop a holistic perspective through practices like Namasmaran, which help with introspection. Currently, society is governed by superficial and perverted elements, but introspection can help realize that considering cows as mothers and nature as sacred is a more advanced culture than violence and exploitation.

However, humans have long exploited and been cruel to animals. It notes how some thinkers in the past argued animals don't matter morally since they can't reason. But now animal welfare is an academic subject, and research shows cruelty to animals can indicate a tendency towards criminal acts and societal harm. The document concludes all beings deserve humane treatment and that a society's treatment of vulnerable groups, like animals, reflects its overall morality.

Screaming Chicken's theory of animal rights. I'd love to hear your comments, problems with the presentation watever! Thanks!
"This presentation address’s just a couple of the reasons regarding the theories around animal rights, and in no way represents a absolute argument for the rights of animals. There are many other compelling reasons to convert to a plant based diet, what follows is simply one of those reasons."
1) Ayurveda describes three fundamental energies (doshas) that govern the mind and body - Vata (Wind), Pitta (Fire), and Kapha (Earth). Each person has a unique proportion of these doshas that determines their nature and characteristics.
2) A person's dominant dosha influences their physical traits and temperament - Vata types are thin, energetic and changeable, Pitta types are intense and goal-oriented, and Kapha types are easy-going and nurturing.
3) The document recommends bringing together Ayurveda's wisdom and nature to support a natural and healthy lifestyle, using herbal remedies when possible and only allopathic medicine in emergencies.

It provides outlines for basic welfare based on stockmanship, noting that boredom and low care can affect animal mental state. Laws aim to ensure animals have proper care and a "neutral welfare." Key legislation like the Animals Welfare Act 2006 establishes five needs for animals: suitable diet, ability to exhibit normal behavior, protection from pain/suffering, suitable environment, and being housed with/apart from others appropriately. This legislation affects daily animal care regimes by requiring suitable environments, diets, social needs be met depending in the species.
This document discusses how humans are a part of nature as mammals and shares DNA with other species. We are sentient beings with animal minds guided by instinct, intuition, reason, and inspiration. While rationality has been elevated, true health involves being in touch with our natural, whole minds. Nature is the medicine, and we ourselves are the medicine as natural beings intrinsically connected to the web of life. To be healthy, one must embrace their innate wildness and natural state as part of nature.
This is an excellent presentation for why we should embrace Vegetarianism. This presentation is based on the Vedic scriptures and even the modern science.
In this beautiful world, animals deserve respect as much as people. They have as much right to live as us, human beings. It is our world, but it is their world too. So, this planet belongs to all creatures living on it. Yet, many are against this notion, since they believe that animals do not have feelings or a soul.
ANIMAL WELFARE
Animal welfare means how an animal is coping with the conditions in which it lives.
An animal is in a satisfactory state of wellbeing when it is healthy, comfortable, well nourished, safe, able to express its innate behaviour, and if it is not suffering from unpleasant states such as pain, fear and distress.(OIE)
The welfare of an individual is its state as regards its attempts to cope with its environment. An animal in good state of welfare is: -
healthy, well nourished
Comfortable, safe
Not suffering from unpleasant state such as pain, fear, and distress

Good AW requires disease prevention and veterinary treatment, appropriate shelter, management, nutrition, humane handling and humane slaughter and killing.
The document provides reasons for adopting a vegetarian lifestyle, including that it is more humane and ethical to not kill animals for food. This knowledge that has given us yoga and Ayurveda, was known as Veda, hence the name Vedic. And though there are some written records, the practice has been passed down verbally from generation to generation.

Vegetarian Lifestyle
1. Vegetarian Lifestyle
The moral message "lives and let live". Live and love all, extend your gratitude cooperation try
to alleviate pain of self and of others. Enjoy freedom and ensure freedom for all. Man should
have enormous unconditional love; one can see the love in the eyes of emotional innocent
animals. It is true as far as possible without hurting other we need to protect our life but not be
violent. We need to be merciful.
If really the people want to make balance in nature then why so many popular beautiful
animals are on the verge of extinction, many species are going to loose their existence on earth.
The species like white bear, dodo bird, musk dear, white tigers, elephants, white elephants, lions
are reduced to small numbers due to repeated hunting and killing for meat. It is the greediness,
hypocrisy of man, which they are trying to justify killing of innocent animals for maintaining
balance in nature.
Moral teaching teaches us to lead a pious life to have peace within our prosperity; here
prosperity does not mean growth of wealth only, but along with wealth, health, healthy family
and social life. To have happy and trouble free life, we need blessings and even from the small
creatures. We can earn good wishes from this little creature by showing empathy, care and
concerns as they are dependent on us for their survival rather, we are killing them for food
by slaughtering them mercilessly.
When we cannot offer life to some one, we do not have any right to take life of a creature
which it has received as Godly birth right. Taking life is the most abominable sin we do not have
any right to torture emotionally or physically to any creature. According to God, we should not
even hurt to someone's emotion, to anyone's heart. Each and every creature has emotion, a heart.
Man after so much scientific development, achievement in the field of philosophy, medical
science, and psychology could not able to understand the heart of simple creatures, then he
cannot claim to be the most intelligent and wise creature in this creation.
Elephant does not eat animal to be healthy:
As per common human being perception, only non vegetarian food can give strength and
nourishment, but in nature we are finding animal like horse that can run faster, having
intelligence and stamina much more than any other animals. Cows, elephants, rhinoceros, etc
who are fatty and bulky used to take vegetarian foods. On the other hand animal like dog, cat,
fox even after consuming non vegetarian food remain lean and thin. On basis of nature and
behavior also we can find vegetarian animals are more docile, loving, patient, tolerant,
empathetic and friendly.
Food has effect on the Mind:
Food always has effect on mind. It is not just food should be pure and prepared with pure
vibration with love and remembrance of Sweet Supreme Father and with the good wishes for the
family members or person one is preparing for, but also food should be taken silently with
positive feelings. This practice helps a person to excel in his value based life to make the mind
2. stabilize and to acquire divine qualities. One starts acquiring the stable intellect, tranquility and
calmness, humbleness, immense internal strength and determination to do some impossible task
possible for personal and social cause. On the other hand food ate with vibrating mind, disturbed
mind, depressed mind, with greediness that also disturb our digestion process and cause further
disturbance in mind and physiological system.
Meat and wine harm to human mind, causes all bad intention and are root cause of anger and
temptation. A man loses control over self and commits mistake in his life. Such type of foods is
also harmful for meditation practitioner and for a person who want to lead anger and conflict free
stable life.
Home turned to be Funeral ground and stomach to be Coffin:
The people used to burn the dead in Funeral ground or put in coffin, each and every people are
killing, boiling, burning this dead meat of animal and putting them into the stomach as if it is
coffin. While man body is a pure temple and the soul as god or goddess inside the body, it need
to be made worship worthy we should have self respect to offer right kind of food to self which
is pure, pious, powerful and delicious.
Non Vegetarian Food and diseases:
From the research it is being found vegetarian people are not only less prone to disease but
also firm psychologically .Just imagine the animal neither they are taking filtered water , nor
they are taking any cleaned and properly boiled foods, definitely their body carrying many germs
and bacteria. People are eating the flesh of pig think of these animals who lead their life in
utmost dirty areas , sewer canal, the kind of diseases , germs , bacteria they must be carrying in
their body and flesh which cannot be made free even after boiling at 100 degree centigrade .
Men are exposed to such diseases, man get more diseases then energy by eating there dead flesh.
Vegetarian Food and Religion:
One of the most famous Muslim King of India Akbar was impressed with the doctrine of
Jainism gave up eating Meat almost. Akbar more than half of the days in a year ordered whole
kingdom not to slaughter animal during those days. But due to wrong practice of Bali Sacrifice
of animal , scarcity , greediness, influence of some culture has turned us from deity to devil Re
again we need to understand our divinity and regain our virtues of non violence , empathy , love
for whole creation as the Master Creator and Protector as the son of Creator and Protector
Supreme father.
Jesus is also shown carrying a ship with love and care.
Moses had determined to take their followers to the land of honey and milk.
Buddhism believes in non violence.
Hinduism supports vegetarianism and empathy for living beings.
3. We just need to fill the gap between principles and practice.
Oath: Innocent animals are looking towards us with a lot of expectation; they expect
empathy, sympathy, cooperation as we are most powerful, intelligent and kind hearted creature
in God's Creation. But in reverse after giving good amount of food, care and services to our
domestic animals, we are killing them mercilessly for blood and meat. We are betraying our
relationship with innocent and dumb animals. Let us take charge of our life towards balanced,
peaceful and violence free life.
