The topic includes several components.
Studying about traditional holiday the
students find the integration of History,
marketing and media in it. They practice
it via exercises and tasks and also revise
while doing the hometask.
In the video the characters of the story
impulse learning of intentional
vocabulary. They speak slowly,
emphasize the words in the sentences,
clearly pronounce them, and those words
are all shown. But the hometask is
intended for incidental vocabulary
learning as we have a long story and a
storyteller tells monotonously.
Collecting different parts of speech in a
context enables the students express
their thoughts, ideas about the topic
freely. Interviews, dialogues, games
create an opportunity of speaking
together, helping each other to form
sentences, use the word bank they got
from the topic.

The lesson I planned doesn’t
connect my students to a
community of fans but soon
we’ll have both Armenian and
American holidays and I’ll ask
them to find “fandoms” and
share their learning and practice
the knowledge they got.

  • 7. Hometask: Write the imaginary ending of the romantic story . Watch the story of Romeo and Juliet and retell it. Listen to the song What Is A Youth… "Romeo And Juliet"
  • 8. Holidays, traditions History Business and Marketing Media The topic includes several components. Studying about traditional holiday the students find the integration of History, marketing and media in it. They practice it via exercises and tasks and also revise while doing the hometask. In the video the characters of the story impulse learning of intentional vocabulary. They speak slowly, emphasize the words in the sentences, clearly pronounce them, and those words are all shown. But the hometask is intended for incidental vocabulary learning as we have a long story and a storyteller tells monotonously.
  • 9. Collecting different parts of speech in a context enables the students express their thoughts, ideas about the topic freely. Interviews, dialogues, games create an opportunity of speaking together, helping each other to form sentences, use the word bank they got from the topic. Images: Wikimedia Commons The lesson I planned doesn’t connect my students to a community of fans but soon we’ll have both Armenian and American holidays and I’ll ask them to find “fandoms” and share their learning and practice the knowledge they got.
