EDITING IMAGES
USING PHOTOSHOP

STEP ONE –
EDITING LIGHTING LEVELS:
First click on image in the
tools bar to then select
adjustments. After clicking
adjustments scroll down to
levels and edit them
appropriately.

STEP TWO –
EDITING COLOUR BALANCE

Select image in the tools bar
at the top of the screen and
select adjustments. Scroll
down to Hue/Saturation and
edit using the alteration bars
appropriately.
STEP THREE EDITING FILTERS

By clicking on images > adjustments
> photo filter you can select the
wanted filter – in this case deep
yellow was chosen.
STEP FOUR REMOVING BACKGROUND
1. Select the magic wand tool

3. Majority of background is now
removed
2. Select the area you want to delete

4. Tidy up any imperfections using the
eraser tool
STEP FIVE –
FURTHER EDITING
Spot-healing brush tool

Burn tool (face & hair)
Smudge tool (eyebrows &
mouth)
