Library vs. Internet Resources
Library Resources Internet Resources
• The library is a wealth of
knowledge and
information.
• Not Everything is on the
Internet.
• Quality checked . • Quality Control Does Not
Exist.
• Written by
journalists/scholars/spec
ialists.
• Anyone can publish
anything.
• Out of date • They have the up-to the
minute news and
information.
Conclusion
 Some people say that they no longer need libraries
because everything is in the web and that it can be
accessed anywhere 24/7.
 Others say, not everything is on the Internet and that
the quality control doesn’t exist.
 Most people say that they need both, because Internet
is not an alternative for the library, but a search tool to
be used in addition to traditional sources in the library.
