Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.

We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

action when Stacey’s suspicious behaviour is
displayed
• The audience can escape from reality and
enter the life that Stacey lives
3. Personal Relationships
• The audience can connect to Stacey as they find
out some things about her (e.g. where she lives,
some of her possessions). They will want to
follow up this connection by watching the rest of
the film.
• Furthermore, when Stacey leaves the house and
smiles to herself secretly, the audience feel
engaged as they know her secret too.
• The audience can form a connection with Ryan as
they will care about what is going to happen to
him.
4. Personal Identity
• Women may be able to relate to our opening
sequence due to:
– Rebellious nature of Stacey (gun, stalking etc).
Some women may have ‘wild sides’ or strange
fixations that they may choose to keep secret.
– Beauty routine. Many women do a make up
routine on a daily basis.
5. Information
• Stacey appears as a strong female rather than
a weak one due to it being hinted that she
commits crimes.
• The audience can see that Stacey has the
potential to control and manipulate men due
to her deceitful conversation with Ryan. They
know she is crafty as she has stalked him
without him knowing.
6. Entertainment
• The montage of make up shots is exciting for building
an atmosphere, especially as the audience never see
her whole face.
• The music is mysterious and dramatic, creating tension.
• The enigma. Some things Stacey does will confuse the
audience and make them want to know more. The
sequence may cause them to ask themselves:
– Why does she have so many passports and I.D. cards?
– Why does she put her detective badge away with them?
– Why does she have a gun?
– Why has she stalked Ryan?
– Why does she roll her eyes at Ryan?
