• Roles and responsibilities in a nutshell:
Managed the ASAB Project Transportation department with a fleet of more than 400 vehicles
throughout the project execution including shut down periods. Responsible for ROAD SAFETY
Dept. for the said fleet and have conducted several Road safety campaigns to all drivers and

3. transport department to educate the drivers for “safe driving”, especially Desert driving,
since most of the satellite sites were in remote locations in the Desert. Road Safety Hand
book was issued to all drivers and conducted weekly Tool box with drivers. Monitoring of Sub-
contractor’s Road safety including participating Tool Box talks, maintaining vehicle
conditions, adhering safe driving practices etc., to enhance the safety behavior of all project
drivers. Strictly adhered to HSE procedures during execution of the project.
Establish company routes concentrating on safety.
Ensure to allocate all company drivers and vehicles effectively and regularly.
Ensure to receive all phone calls from drivers any hour in day.
Ensure to track routes to assure on time, safety as mostly operated in desert routes.
Review and arrange all transportation paperwork inclusive of driver logs, trip reports,
book in / book out records, tool box talk records.
Record entire mileages for maintaining timely service of vehicles and fuel
consumption monitoring.
Review driver’s hours properly and submit apt timecards to admin / payroll.
Perform in collaboration with Administration department to enhance transport facility
to the satisfaction of client and staff.
Handle client concerns and direct problems to suitable parties to solve and control at
the earliest.
Record driver concerns along with policy violations and direct main issues to
Administration / Safety departments.
Ensure to address safety infractions along with traffic violations as recorded by Safety
Officer to every company driver.
Ensure compliance to all security, safety as well as operational procedures.
