 Health professionals and services can help us to stay healthy.
 Illnesses usually have specificsymptoms, like fever, pain or coughing.
 A doctor makes a diagnosis and relieve the symptoms and maybe cure the illness,
too.
A general practitioner is a doctor who treats the most
common, everyday illnesses.
A medical specialist is a doctor who treats specific illnesses:
like cardiologist, gastroenterologist and neurologist.
People usually go to hospital if they have a emergency, they
can also go for tests and medical treatsments.
 Infectious diseases are illnesses that are caused by microorganisms.
 Non- infectious diseases they include allergies, malnutrition, substance abuse and
mental illness.
 Bacteria, viruses, protozoans and fungi are common microorganisms. Some of
them are not harmful to humans, but others can cause infectious diseases.
