US Airways Flight 1549
On January 15, 2009, a US Airways jetliner with 155 people aboard flew into a flock of geese
and lost power in both engines shortly after takeoff from La Guardia Airport on its way to
Charlotte, NC (The New York Times, 2009). After losing power to both engines, the Captain
Chesley Sullenberger and First Officer Jeffrey Skiles of US Airways Flight 1549 were faced with
an emergency situation that could have ended in tragedy if not handled properly. Upon the review
of the National Transportation Safety Board s (NTSB) public hearing video. The flight crew
utilized numerous Crew Resource Management (CRM) techniques which allowed them to handle
the emergency situation with exceptional results throughout the sequence of events leading up to
the water landingon the Hudson River. Some good CRM techniques that were noted while watching
the NTSB s simulated re construction of the emergency situation were, proper use of checklists,
utilizing the assistance of the first officer, requesting assistance from Air Traffic Control (ATC), and

Varicella Zoster Research Paper
As you become a registered nurse you can specialized in a variety of fields. One of the many
fields you can choose is to become a Community Health Nurse. As Community Health Nurse you
will deliver care to individual people, families, and community groups. You will have to focus
on promoting, preserving, protecting, treating, and maintaining health. One of the many diseases
you will encounter as a Community Health Nurse is called varicella zoster virus. The varicella
zoster virus is one of the eight types of herpes viruses known to cause human infection and it is
found all over the world. Varicella zoster virus infection causes two clinically distinct forms of
disease: varicella (chickenpox) and herpes zoster (shingles). Chickenpox is a contagious illness
that causes an itchy rash and red spots or blisters all over the body. Chickenpox can cause
problems for pregnant women, newborns, teens and adults, and people who have immune system
problems that make it hard for the body to fight infection. Shingles is caused by the varicella zoster

A way to prevent chicken pox is by avoiding close contact with people who are infected with the
virus. Once the blisters start appearing you will become itchy. You have to avoid scratching and
rubbing them or they will keep spreading thought out the body or cause skin infection. Some
ways to avoid the itchiness is to rub calamine lotion on affected area or by taking an oatmeal bath.

The Glass Menagerie Escapism Essay
The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams is a play with references to his own life concerning
his sister and mother. During the play there are many reoccurring symbols, each symbol is crucial
to the play in order to understand the idea of escape. Through the narrator s perspective, we are
able to witness the mainstream familyduring a war depression era. We see a single mother, unable to
accept change and retaining to the past; a sister, who has trouble dealing with reality and lives in a
fictional world where she has become fragile and unable to function outside her house within
society; and the narrator himself a young hardworking male figure within his house, whom the
family depends upon. Tennessee Williamsis able to create an eventful... Show more content on

The idea of war was an idea that was seen as adventurous in order to get escape from the harsh
reality of the 30 s poor economy. The escapism offered by entertainment in the play is symbolic
for excitement of war. America resembled Tom seeking and escape from their bland lifestyle
leading them to violent and desperate hopes, in which war is when adventure becomes available
to masses. Tom notices that America s ideas of adventures were much like Amanda and Laura s
ideas of escape, they only temporarily lifted the gloom of their problems. Much like Tom
Americans during the 30 s looked to escape by going to the movies. The theater for many
Americans impoverished by the great depression was one of the only affordable forms of
entertainment. At the theater they could find adventure. Like people in the U.S. Laura, Amanda,
and Tom all strive to find adventure by escaping their bland lives in their own ways. Although all
three characters escape to find adventure in different ways they all escape for the same reason, in
order to fantasy and avoid their reality. Their escape from reality however drives them further apart

Kantian Ethics And The Land Ethic
There are many portrayals of the apocalypse in modern media, depicting gory battles and
desperate fights for life. But what people don t consider is what happens after the initial
destruction of civilization. For Joe, that is the world he lives in. Joe, has managed to become the
only human to survive the apocalypse, and now lives the rest of his days by himself. Eventually
and inevitably, Joe becomes bored, and in his post apocalyptic boredom, he decides to go on a
quest to kill all animals and plants left on earth. On the basis of Kantian ethics, Joe killing all
livings things on Earth is morally correct. The first reason this is considered right is because
Kantian ethics follows the Principle of Humanity. The Principle of Humanity states:... Show more

The Land Ethic states that an action is right if it tends to preserve the integrity, stability, and
beauty of the biotic community (leopold 6). The biotic community includes soils, waters,
plants, and animals (Leopold 2) . When the Land Ethic is applied to Joe s action of killing all
plants and animals, he is committing a huge violation because he is not maintaining the balance
and beauty of the land, instead he is doing the exact opposite and destroying it by killing all
living things. He is also ignoring the holistic principle of the Land Ethic meaning that humans
are a members of the biotic community, not rulers (Leopold 2). When Joe decided to kill all
living plants and animals, he made his choice not as an equal member of the biotic, but as a
superior being. He also broke the Second Second Order Principle. The Second Second Order
Principle says that stronger interests take priority over weaker interests (Callicott 86). Stronger
interests include things needed for basic survival while weaker interests include less important
needs or wants (Callicott 87). In Joe s case, the plants and animals will to survive would be more
important than his lack of entertainment. Because of this, Joe broke the Second Second Order
Principle, and therefore violated the Land Ethic again. With this being said, according to the Land
Ethic Joe was wrong, both when he decided that he was above the rest of the biotic community, that
fixing his boredom was more important than the lives of all living organisms, and when ruined the
stability, integrity, and beauty of the land by killing all living plants and

I Admire The Chocolate Bar
You admire the chocolate bar in your hand, mulling over the years of memories it inspires. You
love everything about this bar, from its infallible solidity to the sleek silver letters spelling out H
E R S H E Y S across its wrapper. In your eyes, a company that creates such wonderful products can
do no wrong. But you might think differently if you knew what went into the making of your
chocolate bar.
As producers of more than half the world s cocoa beans, the Western African countries of Ghana
and the Ivory Coast are in constant need of laborers, often calling on a younger population to
replenish their supply. In fact, more than 1.8 million (or thirty percent of) Sub Saharan African
children under the age of fifteen are laborers, mainly in agricultural fields like cocoa farming.
While this percentage seems shockingly high, the most disturbing truth is that over twelve
thousand of these children many of them as young as eleven are sold to cocoa farm owners as
slaves. Not only are they stolen from their families and stripped of their education and health; they
are also subjected to countless hours of brutal work and physical abuse. What they get in return is
another unit of cocoa beans to harvest, a tedious and dangerous task that can result in grave injury.
Some organizations, such as CBS and Green America, have petitioned to end child slavery in the
cocoa farms. While marginal progress has been made, there remains much to be done. By

Advertising Guitars with Suicide and Sex
Ads are made to grab a certain audience and make that audience relate to the specific ad or make
them want to go out and purchase the product that is being promoted. Many ads are trying to sell
specific items; but if a person really analyses the ad, the company is selling or promoting more than
one item.
In this ad the company Gibson is promoting a specific guitar to be sold. In the ad there is a six
string, electric guitar standing up with the wording, If this doesn t get you laid you should just
commit suicide. In the lower right hand corner of the ad, the company s name Gibson is printed.
This six string guitar is popular for beginning music artists. In this ad the company Gibson is using
pathos, ethos, and logos to get the audience s attention. The Gibson guitar ad explicitly sells guitars,
but it implicitly sells sex and suicide.
Gibson guitars are directing this ad to older teenage and young male adults. The audience is
young enough that they are still debating on what career path that they want to go down. To some
of this audience, this ad would grab their attention by thinking this guitar should get them laid.
This aspect would be directed mainly towards young males. Also, some guitars give the sexy and
spontaneous impression, which in a young male s eyes, is a perfect career. The ad is also saying
that if a person doesn t get laid because of a guitar, they should just kill themselves. By analyzing
the statement and ad picture, music involves sex and

On the Roads optimism Essay example
In Jack Kerouac s novel On the Road, the narrator, Sal Paradise offers up to us what seems to be
a very optimistic view on life. He is forever singing the praises of how wonderful his adventures
will be and his high expectations for the future. To Sal, the novel is defined by youthful
exuberance and unabashed optimism for the new experiences that he sets out to find. A deeper
look into the novel, as well as a look at some of the criticswho have written on it, reveals a much
darker side, a more pessimistic and sad aspect that Sal simply fails to realize until the very close of
the action. Whether Sal is hopped up on the optimism of jazz music, secure in his belief that he is

The influence of Dean Moriarty on the novel, in terms of everything from plot to general tone to
the thoughts and dreams of Sal, is immeasurable. Most importantly though, he is the catalyst for
much of this blind optimism for in a sense, he personifies blind optimism. During the long
introduction of Dean in the first chapter, Sal shows the vast impression that Dean will have on
the tone of the novel: all my New York friends were in their negative, nightmare position of
putting down society and giving their bookish or psychoanalytical reasons, but Dean just raced in
society, eager for bread and love; he didn t care one way or the other (Kerouac, 7).
Dean s refusal to look at the world with a disapproving eye and always having hope for simple
things like food and sex exemplify his personification of optimism. This early passage of the
novel shows that Dean will and eventually does become the driving force in the optimism that
marks much of the book. Dean s lust for life guides himself and Sal to places such as jazz clubs,
old friends houses, and even Mexico. But with Dean as well as the cohorts that follow his madness,
(Sal, Ed Dunkel, Carlo Marx and many more) the result ends up being much less than ideal, despite
the fact that they sometimes happen to receive that

Rock And Roll Impact On Society
Rock and Roll has has had an impact on several decades of generations of people. It has also
sustained itself throughout this period without dropping in popularity. Rock and roll has had a
huge impact on the society we live in today because it affects other music genres such as hip hop
and neo soul. It has not only affected other genres but also opened up a way for originality, self
expression, and free thought. It also influenced artists to give political opinions through their
songs which also influences the government and how it governs specific laws including many
that were apart of the civil rights act. It has been given credit for integrating teens and adults
through 1950 s 1970 s. It has also helped with equality with races being able to perform and be
successful without being treated unfairly about their quality of music because of their race. Rock
has had different effects on different countries. Europe was the most influenced by rock because
of its many rising bands from Liverpool and London. This was because they had many musically
talented people coming from the area. There are many unique types of rock including heavy metal
to classic rock, punk, alternative, and grunge. Each of the genres have enabled different artists
from each genre to rise and record companies to accompany them and boost their popularity among
fans. Many of the artists that were apart of each genre are currently respected for their creative,
energetic music. Many people today still believe

Election Explanation Through Sociological Theories
Election Explanation through Sociological Theories The 2016 U.S Presidential Election ended
on November 19th, yet many people did not expect or even think about the result of Trump
becoming our 45th president. Although many people in California did not accept the fact that
our first female candidate was defeated and lost the election, it is reasonable to explain some
surprising observations and results of the election by looking through the lens of sociological
theories. 1. 63% of white men and 53% of white women did not vote for Clinton. As our first
female presidential candidate, it was controversial towards her ability be competent to manage a
country. Although many people are pursuing gender equality in America, they still hold prejudices
and discrimination towards women because of their vulnerable image. It is not surprising that
more than half of white men choose to vote for Trump instead of Clinton by Christine Williams s
concept of Glass ceiling glass escalator. Williams argued that women in the United States face the
predicament of Glass Ceiling, invisible barriers that restrains their promotion in male dominated
jobs. On contrary, men are considered to be Glass Escalators in which they are push up in their
professions by invisible pressures. (Williams ) Under this situation, an occupational segregation
exists: women and men hold the same job title at an individual establishment or company, but

Bear Mccreary Monologue
Hey, everyone! Just got back from watching The Walking Dead s Season 7 Episode 2 and I have
to say, it has a good feel to it. But before that, let s start at the beginning. So for those who haven t
seen the newest and latest episode of TWD, beware as this contains spoilers. Really. Anyway, yeah.
Okay, so first we see the recap from when we last saw Carol and Morgan with the former badly
injured because of a savior (I think) and the latter facing two men with horses and body armors
looking bad ass as heck. Then comes the well known and loved masterpiece of Bear McCreary
which is also known as The Walking Deadtheme song. Also, quick fact that I m not even sure is
quite precise but to heck with it: McCreary wanted to compose something that when we hear it,
TWD almost immediately comes to mind. And indeed, it has. Kudos to Bear McCreary!
Now, going back, we see Carol laid unto something, a somewhat wheelbarrow like carriage that is
being dragged by a horse when suddenly, I don t know. Sorry! Bad at storytelling but we re now in
Carol s temporary POV and we see the badasses and Morgan fighting. She looks in a ... Show more

human. So she stays at this bungalow she saw earlier. It s nice. But then I suddenly got all sad
because then, Morgan was like saying goodbye to her like it ll be the last time they ll see each
other. cause I like Carol :) I have great hopes for this new chapter in Carol and Morgan s life.

admittingly. But before that, when I heard the knock, I was like, Bruh, no way. I thought it d be the

After the Big Bang for another galaxy it will take 30 million years for any human like creatures to
form. So, unless they formed before us or when we were forming to become what we are now,
they probably are not any aliens in the universe. We also have no scientific discoveries, just
reported sightings. There s a good chance that there will be aliens in the future than right now.
Now we will get into my opinion, about if aliens are real or not. I believe that aliens are real for
a couple key reasons. One of my reasons it things such as the Roswell Incident just don t happen
for reason. The government just doesn t leave with something covered up so it is not seen by
the eyes of the residents living there. Another reason would be that the odds are that aliens are
amongst us right now or will be among us in the future. That is why I believe that aliens are real.
Those are the reasons why aliens could be real, and why they could not be real. I researched this
topic because I ve wanted to go in depth about if aliens are real. Aliens could be real for several
reasons and could not be real for a couple for reasons. After reading this essay do you believe that

Difference Between Education And Social Class
Social class in education can be distinguished in many ways such as power, authority, and wealth. In
which these contributed to children inequalities education, since children with low income have
less possibilities. Since ancient times people have been debating whether social class is a factor of a
child education. In the article, Education and inequality: historical and sociological approaches to
schooling and social stratification , says that, Numerous sociological studies have documented the
extent of achievement gaps, in the United States and internationally.4 In the simplest terms,
students from higher social classeshave higher achievement levels than students from lower social
classes ,(Susan F, 2).This quote explained how is the gap between lower class and social class. We
can see that this is an important issue to those young people who want to improve their style of
live and be a better someone or a better person in the future have less opportunities than those of
the higher class and these people from the lower class feel unfair that just because you are born
with a gold spoon does not mean, you are a better or intelligent person than any of them. Thus, i
believe that social education it s more than just a matter that has been happening today s date, but
it has been since many, many, years ago in which these experts Alan R. Sadovnik and Susan F.
Semelb dwell from the beginning to today s date how social class have affect education and how

Weird Melancholy Of Henry Lawson s The Bush Undertaker...
Weird Melancholy in Henry Lawson s The Bush Undertaker and Peter Weir s Picnic at Hanging
Rock
In 1876, in his preface to Adam Lindsay Gordon s Poems, novelist Marcus Clarke coined the
phrase Weird Melancholy in reference to what he perceived to be the dominant note of his country
s landscape and his subject s verse. In doing so, he distilled the entire mood of Australian Gothic
into one eerie essence, an essence present, to varying extents, in all texts of that genre. This can be
seen through an examination of two exemplary Australian Gothic texts, each vastly different from
the other in form and content, but united by their pervasive aura of Weirdness and Melancholy:
Henry Lawson s 1894 short story The Bush Undertaker and Peter ... Show more content on

After doing this, a great greasy black goanna (29) causes the hatter the stumble upon the corpse of
his friend, Brummy. In describing the reptile, alliteration serves as emphasis, while the word black
connotes the native Australian whose bones have been disinterred by the protagonist. As he goes
about burying Brummy, the goanna, always accompanied by the epithet black , reappears
continually. The man s repeated sightings of the creature link it to something sinister, until it
becomes a symbolic force of justice, frighteningly rebuking the hatter for his profanity of a sacred
site (Lee). The goanna is a metaphor for a divine power, supernatural, fatalistic, and truly Weird.
The idea that human activity is governed by a higher power, resulting in a lack of personal
agency, is also explored in Picnic at Hanging Rock. Even before they arrive at their picnic spot, the
convoy from Appleyard College seem to be greatly affected by Hanging Rock. Mathematics

Silicious lava, forced up from deep down below. Soda trachytes extruded in a highly viscous state,
building the steep sides mametons we see in Hanging Rock. And quite young, geologically
speaking. Barely a millions years old. (Greene, 11)

Senkaku Islands Controversy
Every day the world is dealing with issues that come and go or issues that have existed and was

The Negative Consequences Of Civil Disobedience
Civil disobedience has been an act throughout history making a change to further advance life.
From the times of King Nebuchadnezzar to the recent leaks of Edward Snowden, it displays the

From time to time, people arise to the occasion, standing out for what he or she believes in.

large, dead oak tree. I had noticed that almost all of the houses on this abandoned street were too
badly damaged for us to take shelter in, except for one. Lightning split the night sky without a
sound, illuminating the skeletal trees outside. The old Victorian house shook to its very
foundations as the peal of thunder rumbled hatefully across the shimmering, tempestuous lake.

which hurt like hell. I slowly got up and my mind was focused on the thing I had seen upstairs. I
then felt a cold breeze that made my bones shiver and hair stand up on end. A giant rat
scampered across the floor; it s beady eyes glowed red in the flicker of the lantern light. It hissed
at me. I dropped my lantern. Suddenly, I was plunged into utter darkness. I took several deep
breaths to calm my trembling body and finished my trek up the stairs. Vivid flashes of lightning

window. I now realised that is wasn t a person who I had seen but simply an old cloak. I suddenly

The fast spread of computers in today s general public has purchased forward the interest for more
individuals to assemble, compose programs for, and repair them. Computer designers are
responsible for building while computer analysts have responsibility of maintenance, but the
individuals who write and compose programs for these machines are called computer programmers.

The And New England Colonies
Everyone has an external force that motivates them in some way that allows them to be able to
go about their everyday lives and fulfill their ambitions. Within the years of 1580 and 1763 this
force took the form of God. Around this same time was when the Chesapeake and New England
colonies were in the process of being founded. As a result, these two settlements did nothing
without referencing their actions to God. Due to this heavy focus on God as the reason behind
every aspect of their lives, chaos began to sprout soon after the settlers began settling and started
living their new lives in the colonies. Since the colonist believed that God dictated their entire
lives; they never felt that they were in the wrong. Not once did the colonists stop to think that they
had no right to steal the natives land. If God had not smitten them, then they thought that God
approved of what they were doing. In this case, the colonists were in the process of acquiring land
that the earth bringeth foorth all things in aboundance, as in the first creation, without toile or
labour... the most plentifull, sweete, fruitfull, and wholesome [soil] of all the world . The new
land that the colonists wanted to take appeared similar to the Garden of Eden. Since they

the colonists were entitled to the land

The Success Of The Database And Data Warehouse
The success of the database and data warehouse (DW) project really depends on the quality of
data. If data quality is not good enough, the information will logically be unreliable when the
business users retrieve it from the database/DW environment. Good quality of data will be useful
for the decision maker to make the right decision, gain more trust and make the organization more
efficient. In contrast, the bad quality of data will drive the decision maker to make a wrong
decision. Debbarma, Nath and Das (2013) stated that good quality of data will enable DW

order to support the right decision . Thus, data quality needs to be maintained... Show more content

The most prominent issue that always occurs is duplicated records the records that represent the
same real world object in numerous ways (Christie, Timothy, 2005). Such duplicates could cause
many significant problems. Therefore, data cleaning strategy is essential to ensure these
redundancies. However, duplicate elimination is one of challenge tasks because it is caused by
many different types of errors such as typographical errors, null values, abbreviations, word
transformation and different representations of the same word. To detect and eliminate data
duplication, there are many algorithms that have been proposed by researchers and scholars. Those
algorithms include standard duplication elimination algorithm (SDE), adaptive duplication
detection algorithm (ADD), sorted neighborhood algorithm (SNA), duplicate elimination sorted
neighborhood algorithm (DE SNA), etc. Most of the algorithms use the following techniques in
different ways to achieve a duplicate detection and elimination goal: Character based similarity
measure techniques. Phonetic similarity measure techniques Numeric similarity measure
techniques Semantic similarity measure techniques To measure the similarity between characters,

Functions of MIMO
The main function of MIMO system includes precoding, spatial multiplexing and diversity coding.
Precoding is the process of multi stream beamforming which process at the transmitter. The main
advantage of multi stream beamforming is to increase the received signal input, by making signals
emitted from different antennas add up constructively and it is also able to mitigate the multipath
fading effect. Precoding requires channel state information at the transmitter. When there is
multiple antennas at the receiver, the transmit beamforming cannot simultaneously maximize the
signal level at all the receive antennas, and precoding with multiple stream is used. MIMO antenna
configuration is requires in spatial multiplexing. In spatial multiplexing the high rate signal is
divide into low rate signals and each individual stream is transmitted from different transmit antenna
which is having the same frequency channel. Spatial multiplexing is technique which is capable of
increasing channel capacity at higher signal to noise

Unfortunately, petty crime seems quite common in the city. Whereas mugging remains sporadic,
pilfering is rampant. Although foreign visitors most often fall victim to pickpockets, it is the less
prevalent and declining car theft that appears the worst plague in Poland, Krakow being no

Ashley, a high school student diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age sixteen, experienced a

Ashley s family was aware of how important it was for their daughter s school to be kept
informed about her diabetes. They worked with the school and the nurse to follow all of the
schools procedures and protocols relating to a diagnosis of diabetes. The family worked closely
with the school to provide snacks, glucose tablets, and information about how the school could

Ashley took it upon herself to go to the nurse anyway. Ashley did not make it to the nurse since
her blood sugar was so low. She was found after the class very ill and disoriented and she had to
be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The family was told by a doctor that this could have

Macular Degeneration in Two Forms Essay
Macular Degeneration in Two Forms
Macular Degeneration is a disease of the eye that gradually causes loss of a person s central
vision. Approximately 1.75 million Americans suffer from vision loss associated with the disease
(All About Vision 1). The leading cause of blindness in people over the age of 60, Macular
Degeneration, exists in two types (National Eye Institute 1). Both the wet and dry versions of the
disease have similarities in risk factors, but differ in symptoms and treatments.
Although the causes of each type of the Macular Degeneration are different, the risk factors are
essentially the same. The wet form of the disease is caused by small blood vessels that grow
beneath the retina. The blood vessels leak blood and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The dry form is broken down into three stages; Early, Intermediate, and Advanced (National Eye
Institute 3). In the Early stage, people have several small or few medium yellow deposits under
the retina called drusen. This stage shows no symptoms or vision loss. During the second stage,
Intermediate, more medium or even large deposits happen. As this happens, a blurred spot can
develop and more light could be needed for reading. Lastly, in the Advanced stage, a breakdown of
light sensitive cells and tissue causes the blurred spot to enlarge and darken. In this latter stage,
facial recognition is unlikely unless the person is extremely close. Either form of Macular
Degeneration can only be detected by thorough eye exams. The exam should include visual acuity,
which measures sight at varied distance intervals. Also, dilation of the eyes will allow an
ophthalmologist to check the retina and optic nerve. An instrument called a Tonometer will
measure pressure within the eyes (National Eye Institute 6).
Treatment options exist for the wet type; however, the dry has none. The wet version of Macular
Degeneration can be treated with laser surgery, photodynamic therapy, and direct injections in order
to try to slow the progression. Laser surgery is used to subdue the leaking blood vessels. During
this procedure, healthy blood vessels and tissue may inadvertently be damaged.

Ethical Responsibility Of Media Bias
CNN is nothing but a bunch of liberals! Every point you make is invalid because you get your
information from Fox News! Well, what news sources are the public supposed to be trusting,
anyway? Do objective media outlets even exist anymore? Media bias has done incomprehensible
damage to the thoughts, opinions, and beliefs of the citizens of this nation. Newspapers,
magazines, news channels, and reporters themselves have an ethical responsibility to inform the
public of the entire truth, not to spread their own agenda across the nation. Because the public
relies so heavily on the media for information, it is immoral for news outlets to be even the
slightest bit subjective to one side. The media affects everyone s way of thinking. If journalists are

Though the misinterpretation and ignorance of honest news through perceptual bias is formed by
individuals, it s a shame that the remaining three fourths of bias is deliberately carried out by
reporters and journalists themselves. The main issue at hand is that journalists today feel that
their own opinions are correct and superior to others; therefore, they are sure to only circulate
information that will get citizens to see things their way, as opposed to giving an honest, impartial
version of the truth. When asked if today s media influences the opinions of citizens for better or
for worse, Shane McNabb, a fellow news consumer, explains that media outlets influence people
when they have obvious biases. They tell you only what they want you to hear, and often out of
context. This is often the case for both liberal and conservative outlets, and people end up either not

This change was intended to reduce the amount of Timeliness 2 s bought, with the dual goal of
improving performance and lowering transaction costs by buying only the lowest PE Timeliness 2

portfolio, the goal of limiting transaction costs should only be pursued with the hope that
performance will improve. This means that for the change to be effective, the new number of
holdings should be low enough that performance should improve by a significant amount because
only the best stocks were bought.
As it stands, however, the change reduced the size of the portfolio by an average of only 14 stocks,
or 15% of the portfolio (from 89 to 75 holdings). This did not impact performance much: from 1/3
/2017 to 4/19/2017, the new portfolio underperformed the original by 1.02%. I personally think this
underperformance would not be consistent; in my opinion, the new portfolio could just have well
have outperformed, rather than underperformed, by 1%. Because the portfolio composition, and
therefore performance, was not meaningfully different from the original, this change does not
appear to be worthwhile.

The question of known cooking issues arises, why would the company operate under harmful

the cooking equipment issue. The restaurant was serving meat cooked from the previous day and

we regularly buy items from them like smartphones, and gaming consoles, cars; some of the most
cutting edge technology is from Japan. It s easy to image that if Americans were to cut off ties to

Popularised Explanation Of Memory
Memory is a complicated topic to describe, as its role, theory and application differs from person
to person. A popularised explanation of memory involves a tiered or levelled approach, ranging
from a holistic to a reductionist description (Bilkey, 2016). The Social and cultural level of memory
refers to information stored in museums, libraries and oral history. Individual memoryis another
level of description, and is specific to the person; what they did that day, or ate for example. At the
reductionist spectrum of memory is the biological level, describing the fundamental process in the
body that lead to memory formation, such as synaptic modulation and information encoding in
DNA (Bilkey, 2016). Whichever level is adopted, three processes

The Great Outdoors
O Is for the Great Outdoors
In my opinion, we can sort everyone alive into two categories: outdoor people, and indoor
people. I fall into the latter category; being a pale, unathletic girl, it is difficult to be anything
else. However, despite my genetic averseness to it, I love being outside, soaking in the beauty,
and just enjoying God s creation. There are countless ways to appreciate the great outdoors, even
an AC lover like me can find ways to love it.
One way I have learned to connect with nature is through photography. About a year and a half ago,
I discovered my affinity for photography, and I started seeing the way objects interacted and filled
the negative space. There is a certain satisfaction rewarded when I take a picture and every detail
just falls in line. Nature is art, a photogenic subject waiting to be studied. Be that as it may, taking
pictures outside is somewhat different than working, practicing, and being active outside. ... Show

Practices take up about 8 hours weekly and, consequently, it is tough to avoid outdoor activity.
Currently, with the summer weather, outside practices are not so much a chance to admire
scenery as they are blistering hot and bug filled. During the next couple months, though, the
weather will chill, and I ll be able to relish the autumn breezes and the color change of the leaves.
My band experience has shown me that in some situations, a semi coerced experience can be as
benefiting as an experience you plan.
In my family, nature is a chosen bonding point. Our vacations do not occur annually, our
schedule is normally too occupied, but we do visit scenic sites every few years. This past
summer, we stayed in West Virginia for white water rafting. The trip was terrific, and captivated
all of us with the vibrant environs of the camp and the business of the rapids. Spending time
outside in a place like that gave me a greater appreciation of

Compare And Contrast The Leadership Style Of Staples
Leading. The different leadership styles within an organization determines the survival and
successful outcomes it will have. Staples tend to have more of a democratic leadership style within
its organization. Managers are in charge of their teams and operates using the hands on approach.
Also at times, the opinions of the employees are sought out, which in turn gives them a sense of
responsibility ( Democratic leadershipstyle, 2016). Additionally, employees are encouraged and
even motivated to take charge and show initiative in their work. Furthermore, managers cross train
employees to support the business needs and similarly uses it as an opportunity to help with
employee growth within the company. Correspondingly, having a democratic leadership style is
presented as an internal strength.
Recently, Staples went through several leadership changes. Shortly after the failed merger with
Office Depot, Ron Sargent resigned as the chief executive officer. As a result, Shira Goodman was
appointed as the interim CEO, and then later on in September she officially took on the role of the
CEO (Lange, 2016). Sargent and Goodman prove that Staples is a company that promotes from
within, as they both have worked in several positions that eventually led to them moving up in the
ranks.

Events Leading Up To The American Revolution
The events that led up to the American Revolution war or not big events but a small set of events
when compounded together each created the catalyst to launch the colonists into revolt. The first of
the events to create the spiral effect that launched the revolution is the seven year war or the French

Most notably was the European industrial boom. The industrial revolution was the rapid growth
in new industry evidenced by antiquating the use of hand tools in conjunction with the power
driven machines popularization. As well as, the death of the personal shop and the birth of the
large scale business operation. The effect that this expansion had was felt in every city, town and
small hamlet throughout England. Prior to the spark that ignited the revolution an artisan would
create his or her craft by hand and maybe make one or two items a day. With the use of steam
powered machines a product could be produced at ten times that rate. Obviously that made the
owners of the new businesses very happy. What did happen were unprecedented growth factories

The Welfare Of Foreign Workers
The welfare of foreign workers in Singapore is not taken care of seriously. Welfare refers to a
person or a groups happiness, health and well being. In this essay, I will be looking it from three
different perspectives of why the welfare is not taken care of seriously. Firstly, the treatment they
received, next, the food they eat and lastly the living conditions that they stay in.
In Singapore, there are around 1.32 million of foreign workers. Majority take up low skilled
jobs, for example construction workers and domestic helpers. These jobs are called the 3D jobs,
which means it is dirty, dangerous and difficult. They act as an invisible backbone to many well
developing and fast growing economic countries as they build our houses and roads which are
essential in a country. As they take up jobs that Singaporeans are not willing to do, we are obliged
to treat them better. Or at least give them the basic rights and respect. However, people do not treat
them the way they should.
There are many incidents of people mistreating foreign workers in Singapore. This includes not
giving them enough dignity and also abuse. In Unattended Foreign Maid, Migrant Workers
Singapore (2009), it mentions that a poster was pasted outside a local food court, with the words
THIS IS NOT THE WAITING AREA FOR FOREIGN MAID.UNATTENDED FOREIGN MAID
WILL BE HANDED TO THE SECURITY on it. (as cited in Huang, S.,Yeoh, B. S.A., 2015,
p.175). It clearly proves that locals do not treat them equally,

Transgenic Plants And Its Effects Essay
A few years back, the idea of utilizing Agrobacterium tumefaciens as a vector to make transgenic

species are routinely changed utilizing this bacterium, and the rundown of species that is
defenseless to Agrobacterium interceded change appears to develop day by day.
Agrobacterium tumefaciens is a gram negative rod shaped microscopic bacteria firmly identified
with nitrogen fixing microorganisms which abide at root knobs in vegetables. Not at all like most
other soil staying microscopic organisms, it is pathogenic and contaminates the bases of plants to
bring about Crown Gall Disease. In the wild A. tumefaciens targets dicots, and causes economical

of a strain of firmly related microscopic organisms (Agrobacterium radiobacter) control and restrict

known for exploiting its host by infusing a section of DNA from its Ti (tumor inciting) plasmid into
its host, bringing about the plant to discharge opines that the microbes use as a vitality source. In
recent times researchers have abused thie capacity of this microscopic organism to place DNA into

The Clothing Styles By Christian Dior
Fashion By taking a look at the clothing styles worn by a group of individuals, we can
comprehend a great fragment regarding the prevailing social values of the generation. Polyester
was the material of choice and bright colours were everywhere. Men and women alike, wore
tight fitting pants and platform shoes. Christian Dior In 1947 the French designer Christian
Dior dispatched his Corolle line, a collection re establishing and modifying the square
shouldered and straight female figure after the disruptions of World War II. Dior s revolutionary
design became embellished and overvalued, characterised by dresses featuring delicate
shoulders, a vaguely padded bodice, low neckline, a small waist, and a full skirt flaring out
starting the hips and grazing the calves. What was so diverse about Dior s look was in its
abundance the excessive use of luxurious fabrics and time intensive labor. The overly female
form that he presented was created through the use of padded hips and bust lines. (Walford, n.d).
Nylon Stockings Numerous fashionable traits make a rebound. Once again, the nylon stockings
became extremely trendy and sales skyrocketed (Lindop, n.d). There wasn t a fashionable
woman alive who couldn t wait to jump into the latest pair. (Glamour Daze, 2012). Wedge Heels

What Are The Changes And Continuities In Roman Times

some dramatic cultural changes from 100 C.E to 600 C.E, such as the rise of barbarians and the
radical change in social structure, and dramatic political changes, such as the change in the emperor
s power, that altered the empire, however there were still a few continuities, such as Latin still
being the language of the majority. On Rome s slow track to death many more things changed than
stayed the same. One cultural change was the rise of the barbarians in the Roman Empire, which
brought about much new diverse culture in Rome. By 600 C.E. Britain was ruled by the Anglo

Analysis Of Prince Hamlet By William Shakespeare
Jean Jacques Rousseau stated that: man is born free; but everywhere he lives in chains . This
suggests humankind is only free at the moment of birth and thereafter they live their lives
chained down by forces working to hold them back from being who they truly are. Every man
and women are shaped not by their freedoms, but by their limitations. This is evident in all types
of literature and from observation of the world we live in now. However, I have chosen to analyze
Prince Hamletin Hamlet by William Shakespeare, Winston Smith in 1984 by George Orwell and
lastly The Man in The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Throughout the entirety of Hamlet. Hamlet is
shaped into a vengeful murderer unable to love or to act sanely due to his father s ghost... Show

He then goes on to justify the murder by saying A bloody deed. Almost as bad, good mother, As
kill a king and marry with his brother. (3.4, 33) this shows that Hamlet has become completely
discounted from the real world and only care about revenge for his father because of the insanity
brought on from the chain of his father s murder. 1984 is similar to Hamlet in the way that the
main character Winston Smith is also chained down by the loss of family, guilt and a longing
for love and freedom. During the second part of 1984 Winston has a dream about the days when
his mother and sister were still alive and the three of them were seeking shelter in air raid
bunkers when a chocolate ration was distributed, Winston however thought all the chocolate
should be for him and steal the chocolate from his little sister and runs, his mother yells after
him: Winston, Winston! Come back! Give your sister back her chocolate (Orwell, 170) but he
does not come back for a few hours, and when he does his mother and sister are gone. This
tragedy chains Winston down for years subconsciously tearing him apart and changing how he
views himself because he believes he killed his mother and sister. Throughout the book Winston
talks about the way he must act and the way he must talk if he does not want to be killed or put
into a forced labor camp. This constant micro managing of Winston causes him to break certain
rules and he eventually ventures into the proles(The lowest class of human)

imperfections of life that will always live on our world. The movie begins showing five social
classes in detention for different offences. Immediately the troublemaker begins his role by
distinguishing the characteristics of the others that group them into their social standing. He starts
with the princess, pointing out how she always gets what she wants, then the athlete for his

Nazi Use Of Education Essay
Use of education to influence the thinking of the children under Nazi rule
Imagine living in a community as a child where other children were taught to hate another because
of their religious beliefs and the way that they looked. Would you believe that teachers encouraged it
the most? Thousands of German children grew up continuing to believe all of the things that they
were taught about the Jewish children is correct. To this day there are German elders who believe
that the Jewish community is wrong in many ways. The Nazi rule was extremely influencing to the
German children. Although some people may think that children have a mind of their own, the
Nazi rule greatly impacted the way children thought in an extreme way; children should not have
been used to further the Nazi cause.

US Airways Flight 1549 On January 15, 2009, a US Airways jetliner with 155 people aboard flew into a flock of geese and lost power in both engines shortly after takeoff from La Guardia Airport on its way to Charlotte, NC (The New York Times, 2009). Upon the review of the National Transportation Safety Board s (NTSB) public hearing video. Some good CRM techniques that were noted while watching the NTSB s simulated re construction of the emergency situation were, proper use of checklists, utilizing the assistance of the first officer, requesting assistance from Air Traffic Control (ATC), and sharing information with the crew and ATC prior to making decisions.... • 4. The Glass Menagerie Escapism Essay The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams is a play with references to his own life concerning his sister and mother. During the play there are many reoccurring symbols, each symbol is crucial to the play in order to understand the idea of escape. Through the narrator s perspective, we are able to witness the mainstream familyduring a war depression era. We see a single mother, unable to accept change and retaining to the past; a sister, who has trouble dealing with reality and lives in a fictional world where she has become fragile and unable to function outside her house within society; and the narrator himself a young hardworking male figure within his house, whom the family depends upon. The idea of war was an idea that was seen as adventurous in order to get escape from the harsh reality of the 30 s poor economy. The escapism offered by entertainment in the play is symbolic for excitement of war. America resembled Tom seeking and escape from their bland lifestyle leading them to violent and desperate hopes, in which war is when adventure becomes available to masses. Tom notices that America s ideas of adventures were much like Amanda and Laura s ideas of escape, they only temporarily lifted the gloom of their problems. Much like Tom Americans during the 30 s looked to escape by going to the movies. The theater for many Americans impoverished by the great depression was one of the only affordable forms of entertainment. At the theater they could find adventure. Like people in the U.S. Laura, Amanda, and Tom all strive to find adventure by escaping their bland lives in their own ways. Although all three characters escape to find adventure in different ways they all escape for the same reason, in order to fantasy and avoid their reality. • 5. Kantian Ethics And The Land Ethic There are many portrayals of the apocalypse in modern media, depicting gory battles and desperate fights for life. But what people don t consider is what happens after the initial destruction of civilization. For Joe, that is the world he lives in. Joe, has managed to become the only human to survive the apocalypse, and now lives the rest of his days by himself. Eventually and inevitably, Joe becomes bored, and in his post apocalyptic boredom, he decides to go on a quest to kill all animals and plants left on earth. On the basis of Kantian ethics, Joe killing all livings things on Earth is morally correct. The first reason this is considered right is because Kantian ethics follows the Principle of Humanity. The Principle of Humanity states:... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Land Ethic states that an action is right if it tends to preserve the integrity, stability, and beauty of the biotic community (leopold 6). The biotic community includes soils, waters, plants, and animals (Leopold 2) . When the Land Ethic is applied to Joe s action of killing all plants and animals, he is committing a huge violation because he is not maintaining the balance and beauty of the land, instead he is doing the exact opposite and destroying it by killing all living things. He is also ignoring the holistic principle of the Land Ethic meaning that humans are a members of the biotic community, not rulers (Leopold 2). When Joe decided to kill all living plants and animals, he made his choice not as an equal member of the biotic, but as a superior being. He also broke the Second Second Order Principle. The Second Second Order Principle says that stronger interests take priority over weaker interests (Callicott 86). Stronger interests include things needed for basic survival while weaker interests include less important needs or wants (Callicott 87). In Joe s case, the plants and animals will to survive would be more important than his lack of entertainment. Because of this, Joe broke the Second Second Order Principle, and therefore violated the Land Ethic again. With this being said, according to the Land Ethic Joe was wrong, both when he decided that he was above the rest of the biotic community, that fixing his boredom was more important than the lives of all living organisms, and when ruined the stability, integrity, and beauty of the land by killing all living plants and ... • 6. I Admire The Chocolate Bar You admire the chocolate bar in your hand, mulling over the years of memories it inspires. You love everything about this bar, from its infallible solidity to the sleek silver letters spelling out H E R S H E Y S across its wrapper. In your eyes, a company that creates such wonderful products can do no wrong. But you might think differently if you knew what went into the making of your chocolate bar. As producers of more than half the world s cocoa beans, the Western African countries of Ghana and the Ivory Coast are in constant need of laborers, often calling on a younger population to replenish their supply. In fact, more than 1.8 million (or thirty percent of) Sub Saharan African children under the age of fifteen are laborers, mainly in agricultural fields like cocoa farming. While this percentage seems shockingly high, the most disturbing truth is that over twelve thousand of these children many of them as young as eleven are sold to cocoa farm owners as slaves. Not only are they stolen from their families and stripped of their education and health; they are also subjected to countless hours of brutal work and physical abuse. What they get in return is another unit of cocoa beans to harvest, a tedious and dangerous task that can result in grave injury. Some organizations, such as CBS and Green America, have petitioned to end child slavery in the cocoa farms. While marginal progress has been made, there remains much to be done. By purchasing chocolate from ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Advertising Guitars with Suicide and Sex Ads are made to grab a certain audience and make that audience relate to the specific ad or make them want to go out and purchase the product that is being promoted. Many ads are trying to sell specific items; but if a person really analyses the ad, the company is selling or promoting more than one item. In this ad the company Gibson is promoting a specific guitar to be sold. In the ad there is a six string, electric guitar standing up with the wording, If this doesn t get you laid you should just commit suicide. In the lower right hand corner of the ad, the company s name Gibson is printed. This six string guitar is popular for beginning music artists. In this ad the company Gibson is using pathos, ethos, and logos to get the audience s attention. The Gibson guitar ad explicitly sells guitars, but it implicitly sells sex and suicide. Gibson guitars are directing this ad to older teenage and young male adults. The audience is young enough that they are still debating on what career path that they want to go down. To some of this audience, this ad would grab their attention by thinking this guitar should get them laid. This aspect would be directed mainly towards young males. Also, some guitars give the sexy and spontaneous impression, which in a young male s eyes, is a perfect career. The ad is also saying that if a person doesn t get laid because of a guitar, they should just kill themselves. By analyzing the statement and ad picture, music involves sex and ... • 8. On the Roads optimism Essay example In Jack Kerouac s novel On the Road, the narrator, Sal Paradise offers up to us what seems to be a very optimistic view on life. He is forever singing the praises of how wonderful his adventures will be and his high expectations for the future. To Sal, the novel is defined by youthful exuberance and unabashed optimism for the new experiences that he sets out to find. A deeper look into the novel, as well as a look at some of the criticswho have written on it, reveals a much darker side, a more pessimistic and sad aspect that Sal simply fails to realize until the very close of the action. Whether Sal is hopped up on the optimism of jazz music, secure in his belief that he is off to find IT, or just excited... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The influence of Dean Moriarty on the novel, in terms of everything from plot to general tone to the thoughts and dreams of Sal, is immeasurable. Most importantly though, he is the catalyst for much of this blind optimism for in a sense, he personifies blind optimism. During the long introduction of Dean in the first chapter, Sal shows the vast impression that Dean will have on the tone of the novel: all my New York friends were in their negative, nightmare position of putting down society and giving their bookish or psychoanalytical reasons, but Dean just raced in society, eager for bread and love; he didn t care one way or the other (Kerouac, 7). Dean s refusal to look at the world with a disapproving eye and always having hope for simple things like food and sex exemplify his personification of optimism. This early passage of the novel shows that Dean will and eventually does become the driving force in the optimism that marks much of the book. Dean s lust for life guides himself and Sal to places such as jazz clubs, old friends houses, and even Mexico. But with Dean as well as the cohorts that follow his madness, (Sal, Ed Dunkel, Carlo Marx and many more) the result ends up being much less than ideal, despite the fact that they sometimes happen to receive that ... Leaders can eradicate indecision by transforming the tone and content of everyday conversations at their organizations. by Ram Charan Formerly on the faculties of Harvard Business School and Northwestern s Kellogg School, Ram Charan has advised top executives at companies like GE, Ford, DuPont, EDS, and Pharmacia. He is the author of numerous articles and books, including What the CEO Wants You to Know: How Your Company Really Works (Crown Business, 2001). In sum, leaders can create a culture of decisive behavior through attention to their own dialogue, the careful design of social operating mechanisms, and appropriate follow through and feedback. It All Begins with Dialogue Studies of successful companies often focus on their products, business models, or operational strengths: Microsoft s world conquering Windows operating system, Dell s mass customization, Wal Mart s logistical prowess. Okay, so first we see the recap from when we last saw Carol and Morgan with the former badly injured because of a savior (I think) and the latter facing two men with horses and body armors looking bad ass as heck. Then comes the well known and loved masterpiece of Bear McCreary which is also known as The Walking Deadtheme song. Also, quick fact that I m not even sure is quite precise but to heck with it: McCreary wanted to compose something that when we hear it, TWD almost immediately comes to mind. And indeed, it has. Kudos to Bear McCreary! Now, going back, we see Carol laid unto something, a somewhat wheelbarrow like carriage that is being dragged by a horse when suddenly, I don t know. Sorry! Weird Melancholy in Henry Lawson s The Bush Undertaker and Peter Weir s Picnic at Hanging Rock In 1876, in his preface to Adam Lindsay Gordon s Poems, novelist Marcus Clarke coined the phrase Weird Melancholy in reference to what he perceived to be the dominant note of his country s landscape and his subject s verse. In doing so, he distilled the entire mood of Australian Gothic into one eerie essence, an essence present, to varying extents, in all texts of that genre. • 32. Macular Degeneration in Two Forms Essay Macular Degeneration in Two Forms Macular Degeneration is a disease of the eye that gradually causes loss of a person s central vision. Approximately 1.75 million Americans suffer from vision loss associated with the disease (All About Vision 1). The leading cause of blindness in people over the age of 60, Macular Degeneration, exists in two types (National Eye Institute 1). Both the wet and dry versions of the disease have similarities in risk factors, but differ in symptoms and treatments. Although the causes of each type of the Macular Degeneration are different, the risk factors are essentially the same. The wet form of the disease is caused by small blood vessels that grow beneath the retina. The blood vessels leak blood and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The dry form is broken down into three stages; Early, Intermediate, and Advanced (National Eye Institute 3). In the Early stage, people have several small or few medium yellow deposits under the retina called drusen. This stage shows no symptoms or vision loss. During the second stage, Intermediate, more medium or even large deposits happen. As this happens, a blurred spot can develop and more light could be needed for reading. Lastly, in the Advanced stage, a breakdown of light sensitive cells and tissue causes the blurred spot to enlarge and darken. In this latter stage, facial recognition is unlikely unless the person is extremely close. Either form of Macular Degeneration can only be detected by thorough eye exams. The exam should include visual acuity, which measures sight at varied distance intervals. Also, dilation of the eyes will allow an ophthalmologist to check the retina and optic nerve. An instrument called a Tonometer will measure pressure within the eyes (National Eye Institute 6). Treatment options exist for the wet type; however, the dry has none. The wet version of Macular Degeneration can be treated with laser surgery, photodynamic therapy, and direct injections in order to try to slow the progression. Laser surgery is used to subdue the leaking blood vessels. During this procedure, healthy blood vessels and tissue may inadvertently be damaged. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 34. Ethical Responsibility Of Media Bias CNN is nothing but a bunch of liberals! Every point you make is invalid because you get your information from Fox News! Well, what news sources are the public supposed to be trusting, anyway? Do objective media outlets even exist anymore? Media bias has done incomprehensible damage to the thoughts, opinions, and beliefs of the citizens of this nation. Newspapers, magazines, news channels, and reporters themselves have an ethical responsibility to inform the public of the entire truth, not to spread their own agenda across the nation. Because the public relies so heavily on the media for information, it is immoral for news outlets to be even the slightest bit subjective to one side. The media affects everyone s way of thinking. Though the misinterpretation and ignorance of honest news through perceptual bias is formed by individuals, it s a shame that the remaining three fourths of bias is deliberately carried out by reporters and journalists themselves. The main issue at hand is that journalists today feel that their own opinions are correct and superior to others; therefore, they are sure to only circulate information that will get citizens to see things their way, as opposed to giving an honest, impartial version of the truth. When asked if today s media influences the opinions of citizens for better or for worse, Shane McNabb, a fellow news consumer, explains that media outlets influence people when they have obvious biases. They tell you only what they want you to hear, and often out of context. This is often the case for both liberal and conservative outlets, and people end up either not knowing what to believe or taking on the opinion of the biased outlet ... As I have noted, however, because transaction costs don t make a significant impact to the portfolio, the goal of limiting transaction costs should only be pursued with the hope that performance will improve. This means that for the change to be effective, the new number of holdings should be low enough that performance should improve by a significant amount because only the best stocks were bought. As it stands, however, the change reduced the size of the portfolio by an average of only 14 stocks, or 15% of the portfolio (from 89 to 75 holdings). This did not impact performance much: from 1/3 /2017 to 4/19/2017, the new portfolio underperformed the original by 1.02%. I personally think this underperformance would not be consistent; in my opinion, the new portfolio could just have well have outperformed, rather than underperformed, by 1%. This quote captures the theme of the movie of a flawed society in which cliques override human nature. The Breakfast Club is a timeless movie as it shows a social hierarchy, human intuition, and the inevitable imperfections of life that will always live on our world. The movie begins showing five social classes in detention for different offences. Immediately the troublemaker begins his role by distinguishing the characteristics of the others that group them into their social standing.
