  • 3. New Connections ▪ Access beyond (previously) discoverable digital places ▪ Attempt at being emergent (and flexible) ▪ Making connections between RAG AI and (the availability of) open access research ▪ Little bit of Schol Comms for everyone
  • 4. The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness ▪ 'Spicy' autocomplete ▪ HUGE (growing) freemium business models ▪ Wider Gen AI labour exploitation / impact on climate change ▪ Deepening inequity issues
  • 5. Racing Like A Pro? ▪ Clear (initial) bias in AI platforms for OA ▪ Hallucinations still (very much) occur ▪ New actions and advocacy for open ▪ More direct working with students (and others) needed!
