The Survey and LPP’s New Search Facets Next Steps
1. The survey will remain open through July 2024
2. LPP will then deliver the results to the author community
and explain the new facets to be added (up to three
initially) and engage in a dialogue around data collection
and implementation with the LPP author community in
August-September 2024
3. Author identity data collection will begin, strictly author
opt-in, while simultaneous platform development and
catalog record enhancement is underway in September-
October 2024
4. Launch new author identity metadata facets in late
2024/early 2025

LPP will then deliver the results to the author community and explain the new facets to be added (up to three initially) and engage in a dialogue around data collection and implementation with the LPP author community in August-September 2024 3. Author identity data collection will begin, strictly author opt-in, while simultaneous platform development and catalog record enhancement is underway in September- October 2024 4. Launch new author identity metadata facets in late 2024/early 2025
