The student is currently in their second year studying creative media and technology. They have a keen interest in car graphics that started from enjoying digital art and car shows. The goal is to have a career creating original designs for a range of cars. The course is helping the student learn creative digital skills and software to progress toward this future career. While studying, they have learned to work independently and in teams through projects. Projects in the first year expanded their knowledge of software and showed an interest in digital design, moving them closer to a career in car graphics.

1. I am a student currently doing my second year studying creative media and technology level 3
at York college. I am a keen and hard-working individual who is looking to progress further to
reach my future career which is to do with car graphics. My interest in car graphics started a
few years ago when I liked being creative with digital art and from watching car shows. From
then on, I have always wanted to have a career in car graphics and be able to create designs,
that are my own, for a range of cars. This is why I did this course, so that I could learn more
about being creative digitally and to help progress my knowledge on a variety of software. To
then reach my future career.
While studying this course I have learnt a variety of skills in general and when using a variety of
software. I have learnt to work independently and as part of a team. This is because through
the first year we did a variety pf projects that required to work as part of a team or
independently. Also, in the first year we learnt about the different software’s which expanded
my knowledge on the software’s that I learnt from school. Furthermore, when doing a variety
of projects throughout the first year I became more interested in the print projects. this then
showed me that I am more interested in digital design which then helps me move towards my
ideal career which is car graphics.
