Editor's Notes

  • #7 For Uber, introducing uber grocery and uber package could benefit the company in many different ways. More functions would increase vehicle utilization rate or bring more job/partnership opportunities. By batching the orders, company and driver could potentially reduce operational costs. Break into new markets could also boost the economy. Although these markets have overall high competitions, generally barriers to enter these new markets are easy. If Uber want to launch these markets internationally, the barriers would be higher. For Partner Drivers, whiling enjoying increased profit margin, flexible locations and working hours, they could easily access to larger operators, or freight-forwarding companies and freight- brokers. More importantly, for our consumers, they would enjoy fast and reliable services with upfront instant quotes. They could tracking orders and shipments with 100% transparency and real-time location tracking.
