This document outlines the DigiTeL Pro project, which aims to provide professional development for digital teaching and learning across Europe. The objectives are to 1) explore educational needs within and after the COVID era, 2) exchange expertise on hybrid, blended, and online learning, and 3) design and deliver continuing education courses to support digital curriculum development. Several intellectual outputs are described, including developing courses on synchronous hybrid education, blended education, and online/distance education. The courses will be designed based on research and best practices to reinforce universities' ability to provide high-quality digital education.

systems across Europe, supporting ultimately the
Green Deal.

5. Objectives
DigiTeL Pro
▪ Explore and forecast educational needs of teaching
staff and learners within and after the COVID+ era;
▪ Exchange expertise between researchers and
innovators on synchronous hybrid, blended and
online distance learning, optimizing models and
guidelines for short-term and future CPD;
▪ Design, plan and develop continuing education
courses enabling anyone involved in course and
curriculum development in adapting to hybrid,
blended and online distance learning;
▪ Organise three course cycles in a CPD programme for
digital education;
▪ Empower student readiness for digital learning by an
online course and integrating the “student voice’” in
all learning scenarios;
▪ Reinforce the ability of universities to provide high
quality, inclusive and scalable digital education.
