• Charts are used to represent market prices in a graphical
form.
• Charts represent market prices as a function of time.
• There are different types of charting methods. The
difference lies in the amount of data captured and the
presentation of the data. Common types are
o Line Charts
o Bar Charts
o Candlestick Charts.

• Connects closing prices for
the time period (daily,
