Turkey has a population of approximately 78 million people, most of whom live in cities. The government is a republican parliamentary democracy that has experienced occasional interruptions from the military. Agriculture is a leading industry, with wheat, sugar beets, grapes, and other crops comprising most of the land use. The climate varies from mild on the coasts to colder and drier inland, influenced by proximity to the Mediterranean, Black Sea, and mountain ranges. Turkish culture is over 98% Muslim, and Turkish is the primary language though Arabic and Kurdish are also spoken in some regions.

During Cold war people from Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union migrated to Turkey. People from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and Pakistan migrates to Turkey often as well. Economy One of the leading producers of agriculture. 38% of Turkey's land is arable. 90% is devoted to cereal. wheat is the principle crop and it took 59% of the grain production in 1999. 18 billion tons of wheat were grown in 1999. Aso produced 20 billion tons of sugar beat,3.65 billion tons grapes, 2.4 billion tons of maize, 86 million tons of sun flower seeds, 80.2 tons of cotton and 83 million tons of oranges in 1999. Signed a free trade agreement with its neighbors. (Example: Israel, Morocco, Syria and Egypt.) Every region receives about 100% of water. 12 years of education. Very cheap to live in Tukey.
