All, most, some, other đứng trước danh từ đếm được số nhiều và
danh từ không đếm được.
One of the S(plural) + V(singular)
The number of S(plural) + V(singular)
A number of S(plural) + V(plural)
Nếu có past perfect thì : sau after S + V(p.p) ; S + V
before S + V ; S + V(p.p)
Sau being + adj ; being + p.p
Trước mạo từ thì không dùng được Many mà được dùng Few.
Câu sai: thousands dollars -> câu đúng phải là thousands of
dollars. Muốn có “s” sau thousand thì phải thêm giới từ “of”
Danh động từ không có mạo từ như danh từ.
Danh động từ có thể có túc từ theo sau (thường là danh từ) trong khi
bản thân danh từ không có túc từ. S + be/become/remain + adj
Those who : những người.
Whole: hoàn toàn, toàn bộ. Dùng whole với các danh từ số ít.
Phân biệt câu bị động dựa vào như sau: nếu có túc từ thì đó là câu
chủ động nếu không có túc từ thì là câu bị động

Đại từ quan hệ that có thể thay thế cho who và which. Tuy nhiên
that không đứng ngay sau dấu phẩy “,” và giới từ.
Liên kết 2 đối tượng dùng between. Hơn 2 đối thường dùng among.
Cụm từ -ing thường nói về một sự việc (và đôi khi nói về người)
Cụm từ -ed có nghĩa bị động thường nói về người.
Ta dùng not … anymore và not … anylonger, no longer khi muốn
nói là 1 tình huống nào đó đã thay đổi. Anymore, anylonger đứng ở
cuối câu.
No longer đứng ở giữa câu và dùng giống như trạng từ.
Yet(adv) : thường dùng sau not với nghĩa là chưa.
Still(adv): đứng trước từ phủ định not.
Still để nói 1 hành động hay tình huống nào đó vẫn còn đang tiếp
diễn chưa thay đổi hay kết thúc. Still cũng có thể dùng trong câu phủ
định( đặt trước kết cấu phủ định).
Yet chủ yếu dùng trong câu phủ định, câu hỏi thường đặt ở cuối câu
cho thấy người nói đang chờ đợi 1 hành động nào đó sẽ xảy ra.
Already để nói về việc nào đó đã xảy ra sớm hơn dự định, thường
được đặt ở giữa câu.
As long as, so long as, provided, providing -> nghĩa là nếu hay với
điều kiện là.
As ( chỉ thời gian, lý do); like (giống như, tương tự) By + thời
gian : không muộn hơn.
Until/ till : sự việc nào đó được tiếp tục cho tới 1 thời điểm nào
trong tương lai.
Không nói by với mạo từ như là the, my, …
On time(đúng giờ) ≠ late in time(vừa đúng lúc) ≠ too late
Nếu động từ nguyên mẫu có to hoặc danh động từ (V-ing) làm chủ
ngữ thì động từ phải ở số ít.

Liên từ that phải đứng trước một mênh đề hoàn chỉnh.
Liên từ what đứng trước một cấu trúc không hoàn chỉnh( thiếu túc
từ).
Trong 1 câu nếu sau ngoại động từ là tân ngữ thì câu đó ở dạng chủ
động (V-ing). Nếu không có tân ngữ thì câu đó ở dạng bị động (Vp.p).
