The four boys - Jason, Harvey, Simon, and Al - plan a camping trip in the forest near their school. However, the forest is rumored to be cursed. During a poker game, Harvey and Jason argue over money and things escalate. The next day, they embark on the trip but Jason and Harvey continue fighting. Jason storms off into the forest. The others go look for him and find his lifeless body in an abandoned cabin, shot with a gun. As they wonder what happened, the lights go out and the door slams shut, trapping them inside.

FADE IN:
SCENE 1: INT. EXT – COLLEGE - DAY
We see a large building at school, set in rural
surroundings.
SCENE 2: INT. COLLEGE – FRIDAY AFTERNOON PERIOD 6
The four boys; JASON, HARVEY, SIMON and AL are in a science
class at the end of the day discussing their camping trip
away in the forest for the weekend.
The bell rings, people are packing up.
Harvey, a boy of 17 wearing jeans and a jumper, enters the
class to talk to his friends.
HARVEY
All right lads, what’s going on this
weekend then?
SIMON
Yeah what’s actually happening?
JASON
Boys, get to my house at 6 tonight and
we’ll discuss it later.
Cuts to:
SCENE 3: INT. JASON’S KITCHEN – FRIDAY NIGHT
The boys are sitting around a table in Jason’s kitchen
talking about their plan of action for the camping trip at
the weekend. However, the forest they plan on going to is
well known but for the wrong reasons. At there their school
there is a big remove big rumour that the forest is cursed.
The year before a girl, who went with a group of friends,
went to the forest went missing and never returned. AL is
wary of this and is reluctant to go.

JASON
Right, my mum said we could borrow her
motor so we’re all sorted.
SIMON
Nice one mate, it’s going to be quality.
AL
Look, lads you know about the rumours
about this forest I’m not sure we should
go.
JASON
Hahahah stop being so wet, it’s obviously
not true.
AL
Well don’t say I didn’t warn you when you
get kidnapped.
HARVEY
Riiiiight, what time are we leaving
tomorrow, early night I think?
JASON
Nah mate it’s only 6, let’s play some
poker.
Jason brings a crate of beer into the kitchen.
SIMON
Blimey, you trying to sabotage this
weekend already?
JASON
Can’t have any fun without some bevs.
All four of the boys start playing poker and each open a
bottle of beer. A couple of hours pass and Simon and Al
have stopped playing. It’s just Harvey and Jason left.

JASON
All in
Jason moves his mountain of poker chips into the middle of
the table. Harvey hesitates for a couple of seconds before
making a decision.
HARVEY
I’m in.
Jason, with a smug expression on his face, throws down a
three of a kind.
JASON
Three of a kind.
HARVEY
Ha Flush, give me your money!
JASON
No way! YOU CHEATED!
HARVEY
What how? Shut up and give me the money
JASON
Piss off, you’re not getting anything from
me
SIMON
Come on boys don’t get like this
HARVEY
No, he always does this all the time he
has to learn and I want my money.

JASON
Raises voice
Listen HARVEY, you can’t tell me what to
do, none of you can.
HARVEY
He stands up and gets into Jason’s face
Do you think you’re tough do yer? Standing
up, raising your voice? Why don’t you be a
good boy and give me my money. I won fair
and square here.
JASON
His voice gets louder
You better stop talking, right now!
HARVEY interrupts JASON
HARVEY
OR WHAT! What’s big man going to do?
JASON snaps and urgently moves towards HARVEY in anger.
SIMON stops JASON and pushes him back into his seat.
At the same time
HARVEY
Hahaha, what are you doing?
AL
Woaaah guys calm down come on, this is
meant to be our last holiday together,
don’t ruin it.
JASON
Look at him! Can you not see what he’s
trying to do?

HARVEY
I’m not trying to do anything, I just want
my money.
SIMON
Look lads, we’ve all had a bit to drink
maybe we should just call it a night and
just go sleep.
JASON
Well he isn’t bloody staying in my room.
HARVEY
Good, I’d rather sleep in the car.
AL
Uggghh, well he can’t go on his own.
SIMON overlaps the end of Al’s sentence
SIMON
Don’t worry I’ll go with him
Simon and Harvey exit to go to sleep in Harvey’s car while
Al and Simon both go up to Simon’s room.
Cuts to:
SCENE 4: INT. JASON’S HOUSE – MIDNIGHT.
Jason walks down the stairs into the kitchen. Still filled
with rage he sits at the table to devise a plan to get rid
of Harvey once and for all. He writes down plans of how and
when he will do it and decides he will do it in the forest.
He quietly sneaks up the stairs to where his uncle has been
sleeping in the guest room. Jason knows that his uncle has
illegally kept his handgun from the army as he feels it
protects him. He sneaks into his room where he has been

sleeping and seizes the gun. He walks back down the stairs
quietly and hides the gun in his bag then goes to back to
sleep.
Cuts to:
SCENE 5: INT. JASON’S HOUSE – MID-AFTERNOON.
It’s the next day and the lads haven’t woken up until the
afternoon. They’ve gathered in Jason’s kitchen, they’re
about to leave for the trip. JASON has now calmed down
after last night and realizes it was just a drunk phantasy
fantasy? and forgets about the plan to kill HARVEY. JASON
pulls HARVEY to one side a apologises to him for last night
JASON
Oi, Harv lets have a word.
Harvey walks over to Jason while the others pack the car.
JASON
Basically, I wanted to say I was out of
order for yesterday and I shouldn’t have
said what I said. Can we just leave it
there?
Harvey raises his eyebrows in surprise.
HARVEY
Blimey an apology, from you?
JASON
Listen mate, I don’t want any more agro
ag? Might sound better?can we just move
on?

HARVEY
Yeah. Okay.
The two shake hands and they set off for
their trip in the forest. However, Jason
forgets to take the gun out of his bag and
takes it with him.
Cuts to:
SCENE 6: EXT. NEW FOREST – EVENING.
The lads have found their camping spot in the forest and
try to set up camp. However they can’t seem to do up which
leads to another argument
SIMON
It’s less exciting than I expected.
JASON
It’s a forest what did you expect at
maccies?
SIMON
Shut up you know what I mean.
HARVEY
Look stop arguing and lets get this tent
up.
They take the tent out the car and struggle to do it up.

HARVEY
No JASON you’re doing it wrong, that bit
goes there.
JASON
What are you talking about it clearly goes
here.
HARVEY
Sometime I do wonder if you have any brain
cells.
AL hears a faint noise.
AL
Did anyone hear that?
SIMON
No, stop being such a baby
HARVEY and JASON’s argument continues.
JASON
Say that again
HARVEY
Or what? Not my fault you’re being an
idiot
JASON
Stuff this, I’m not staying here if he’s
gonna be a dick all the time.
JASON takes his bag and storms off into the forest
SIMON
Wait, where are you going.?
HARVEY
Let him go, he’ll be back in 5 minutes
AL
Why can’t you two ever get along?

HARVEY
Shut up lets get this tent done.
More time passes and it gets darker. The lads have finally
put their tent together.
HARVEY
Finally! That took ages.
AL
Yeah you and JASON arguing didn’t help.
SIMON
He’s been gone for a while, we should
probably go looking for him.
HARVEY
Fine let’s go.
AL
I’m not going I’m staying here.
SIMON
What is wrong with you? This place clearly
isn’t haunted, the rumour is meant to
scare you.
AL
Okay I’ll go but only for like 15 mins.
SIMON
Oh you are pathetic sometimes.
They set off to go looking for JASON. After about 5 minutes
they hear a loud bang not too far away. They decide to
follow the noise.

SIMON
Shouting
JASON!!
HARVEY
JASON!!!
Loud bang is heard.
SIMON
What the hell was that?
HARVEY
Sounded like a gunshot
AL
See I told you this place was haunted.
SIMON
Right it sounded like it came from over
there. Let’s go.
AL
Are you being serious?
SIMON
COME ON. Why is this in capitals
After not long they find an old cabin with a small light on
inside. Reluctantly they decide to go inside.
SIMON
Look there’s a light on in there, someone
might’ve seen him.
AL
Right has no one listened to a word I’ve
said this weekend?

HARVEY
Come on we need to find where JASON is.
AL
Well you’ve changed your tune.
SIMON
Look we’re just wasting time here. Let’s
go.
They walk inside of the cabin and to their amazement they
see a lifeless JASON lying on the floor with a gun next to
him. As they begin to wonder how this happened the light
goes out and the door slams shut behind them.
Black out on screen.
FADE OUT:
THE END
