The document proposes a triple loop modulation (TLM) technique for power factor correction (PFC) systems that improves reliability and efficiency. TLM can automatically adjust bandwidth to rapidly increase or decrease inductor current, shortening transient response time. This improves reliability when dealing with output load variations. Testing showed the TLM technique achieved a high power factor of 99%, efficiency of 95%, and power capability of 90W, with transient response improved twofold over conventional PFC designs.
