Uses of Sildenafil Dapoxetine Combination Medications
Generic Sildenafil Dapoxetine tablets or jelly, is a combination of Sildenafil 100mg and Dapoxetine
60mg.
Sildenafil Citrate is a is a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction.
Erectile dysfunction is a condition where the penis does not harden and expand when a man is sexually
excited, or when he cannot keep an erection. When a man is sexually stimulated, his body's normal
response is to increase blood flow to his penis to produce an erection. By controlling the enzyme,
sildenafil helps to maintain an erection after the penis is stroked. Without physical action to the penis,
such as that occurring during sexual intercourse, Sildenafil will not work to cause an erection. At least
two-thirds of men have improved erections after taking it.
Dapoxetine Hydrochloride is used for the treatment of Premature Ejaculation (PE) in adult men aged
18 to 64 years. Dapoxetine Hydrochloride must only be prescribed to patients who meet all the
following criteria:
An intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT) of less than two minutes; and Persistent or recurrent
ejaculation with minimal sexual stimulation before, on, or shortly after penetration and before the
patient wishes; and marked personal distress or interpersonal difficulty as a consequence of PE; and
poor control over ejaculation; and a history of premature ejaculation in the majority of intercourse
attempts over the prior 6 months.

Uses of Sildenafil Dapoxetine Combination Medications
Generic Sildenafil Dapoxetine combination medications should be
administered only as on-demand treatment approximately half
an hour before anticipated sexual activity. Generic Sildenafil
Dapoxetine should not be prescribed to delay ejaculation in men
who have not been diagnosed with PE.
This medicine should only be prescribed to adult men aged
between 18 to 64 years to treat erectile dysfunction as well as
premature ejaculation at the same time.

Recommended Adult Dosage
The dose of Generic Sildenafil Dapoxetine combination
medication is given below:
One sachet or one tablet of 160 mg taken approximately half
an hour to one hour before anticipated sexual activity.
Do not take more than 1 dose within 24 hours. i.e. At least 24
hours should pass before you take the next dose.
Without physical action to the penis, such as that occurring
during sexual intercourse, Generic Sildenafil Citrate and
Dapoxetine Hydrochloride oral jelly or tablet will not work to
produce it's medical effect.

Contraindications
Generic Sildenafil Dapoxetine tablets or jelly sachets are contraindicated
in patients with a hypersensitivity to Sildenafil Citrate, Dapoxetine
Hydrochloride or any other component of this medication.
Administration of this medication to patients who are using organic
nitrates, either regularly and/or intermittently, in any form is
contraindicated.
Treatment with Generic Sildenafil Dapoxetine tablets or jelly should not
be generally used in men for whom sexual activity is not advisable
because of their underlying cardiovascular status, or in patients with
significant pathological cardiac conditions.

Contraindications
This medicine is not recommended in patients with male erectile
dysfunction with a previous episode of non-arteritic anterior ischaemic
optic neuropathy (NAION).
The safety of Sildenafil Citrate has not been studied in the following
sub-groups of patients and use of this medicine is therefore
contraindicated until further information is available: severe hepatic
impairment, hypotension (blood pressure less than 90/50 mmHg),
hypertension (blood pressure more than 170/110 mmHg), recent
history of stroke or myocardial infarction and known hereditary
degenerative retinal disorders such as retinitis pigmentosa.

Contraindications
Generic Sildenafil Dapoxetine tablets or jelly is contraindicated for
concomitant treatment with Thioridazine or Serotonin Reuptake
inhibitors, or within 14 days of discontinuing treatment with
Thioridazine or Serotonin Reuptake inhibitors.
Concomitant treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), or
within 14 days of discontinuing treatment with an MAOI is
contraindicated. Similarly, an MAOI should not be administered within
7 days after Generic Sildenafil Dapoxetine Jelly or tablets has been
discontinued.

Contraindications
Concomitant treatment of potent CYP3A4 inhibitors such as
Ketoconazole, Itraconazole, Ritonavir, Saquinavir,
Telithromycin, Nefazadone, Nelfinavir, Atazanavir, etc. along
with this medicine is contraindicated.
This medicine is not recommended in patients with
moderate and severe hepatic impairment.

Storage Instructions
Generic Sildenafil Dapoxetine combination
medications have to be stored at controlled
room temperature i.e. from 20°C to 25°C (68°F
to 77°F) with excursions permitted between
15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F).
Keep this as well as all other medicines away
from children and pets.

Warnings
If this medicine is co-administered with alpha-blockers or anti-
hypertensives, it may lead to hypotension. Decreased blood
pressure, syncope, and prolonged erection could occur at higher
Sildenafil exposures.
Dizziness, disturbance in attention, syncope, blurred vision and
somnolence have been reported in patients receiving Dapoxetine,
a constituent of this medicine. Patients must be told not to use
this medicine in combination with recreational drugs.

Warnings
Combining alcohol with this medicine may increase alcohol-
related neurocognitive effects and may also enhance
neurocardiogenic adverse events such as syncope, thereby increasing
the risk of accidental injury; therefore, patients must be advised
to avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.
Possibly prodromal symptoms such as nausea, dizziness /
lightheadedness, and diaphoresis were reported more frequently
among patients treated with Dapoxetine, a constituent of Sildenafil
Dapoxetine tablets and jelly compared to placebo.
An orthostatic test must be carried out before starting therapy.
In case of a history of documented or suspected orthostatic
reaction, treatment with this medicine should be avoided.

Warnings
Patients should not use this medicine if sexual activity is
inadvisable due to cardiovascular status.
Patients must seek emergency treatment if an erection lasts for
more than four hours. Use this medicine with caution in patients
predisposed to priapism.
Patients should stop this medicine and seek medical care if a
sudden loss of vision occurs in one or both eyes, which could be a
sign of non arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION).
Patients must cease using Sildenafil Dapoxetine 160 mg and
seek prompt medical attention in the event of sudden decrease or
loss of hearing.

Warnings
This medicine must not be administered to patients with a
history of mania/hypomania or bipolar disorder and must be
discontinued in any patient who develops symptoms of these
disorders.
Treatment with this medicine should be discontinued in any
patient who develops seizures and avoided in patients with
unstable epilepsy.

Effects On Ability To Drive And Use Machines
As transient visual disturbances and dizziness have been reported in
some patients taking Sildenafil Citrate, a component of Sildenafil Citrate
and Dapoxetine HCl tablets and jelly particularly at the 100mg dose,
patients should be aware of how they react to this medicine before
driving or operating machinery, and the doctor should advise accordingly.
Dizziness, disturbance in attention, syncope, blurred vision and
somnolence have been reported to occur in some patients taking
Dapoxetine Hydrochloride, a component of this medicine in clinical trials.
Patients should be cautioned to avoid situations where injury could result,
including driving or operating hazardous machinery, should syncope or its
prodromal symptoms such as dizziness or lightheadedness occur.

Possible Side Effects
Most common side effects due to Sildenafil with an
incidence rate of 2% or more include headache, flushing,
dyspepsia, abnormal vision, nasal congestion, back pain,
myalgia, nausea, dizziness and rash.
The most common side effects caused by Dapoxetine with
an incidence rate of 5% or more are headache, dizziness,
nausea, dry mouth, diarrhoea, insomnia and fatigue.

Overdose
In studies with healthy volunteers, of single doses up to 800 mg of
Sildenafil, adverse effects were similar to those seen at lower doses
but incidence rates and severities were increased. The overdose effects
due to Sildenafil Citrate can cause prolonged erections, known as
priapism, nausea, chest pains and irregular heartbeat. In case priapism is
not treated within 24 hours the penis may become permanently damaged,
leading to difficulties achieving an erection in future.
In general, symptoms of overdose with Dapoxetine Hydrochloride are
somnolence, gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea and
vomiting, tachycardia, tremor, agitation and dizziness.

Treatment of Overdosage
In cases of Generic Sildenafil Dapoxetine jelly or tablets overdose,
standard supportive measures should be adopted as required.
Renal dialysis is not expected to accelerate clearance as Sildenafil is
highly bound to plasma proteins and it is not eliminated in the
urine.
Due to high protein binding and large volume of distribution
of Dapoxetine Hydrochloride, forced diuresis, dialysis,
hemoperfusion and exchange transfusion are unlikely to be of
benefit.

Sildenafil Dapoxetine Combination Medications During Pregnancy
Sildenafil Citrate has been classified by the US FDA Pregnancy Category B. There are
no adequate and well-controlled studies of Sildenafil Citrate in pregnant women.
No evidence of teratogenicity, embryotoxicity or fetotoxicity was observed in rats
and rabbits which received up to 200 mg/kg/day during organogenesis. These
doses represent, respectively, about 20 and 40 times the Maximum Recommended
Human Dose (MRHD) on a mg/m2 basis in a 50 kg subject.
Dapoxetine Hydrochloride has been classified by the US FDA as Pregnancy Category
C. Dapoxetine Hydrochloride is not indicated for use by women. Animal studies
do not indicate direct or indirect harmful effects with respect to fertility,
pregnancy or embryonal/foetal development.
This medicine is not indicated for use by women.
