The James Hardiman library at NUI Galway underwent a restructure in 2016 that transformed its subject-specific teams into an academic skills team. This team provides frontline support and training to students both in-person and online. They are currently working to develop a learning commons that promotes visible learning and new collaborative opportunities to engage students throughout their learning journey.
