Nursing is a scientific profession, based on theory and art of care. However, the theory practice gap has become the biggest challenge of this profession and decreases the quality of service both in teaching and practice. The simulation method allows students to repeatedly practice their clinical skills until they develop a sense of proficiency to learn at their own pace and to freely make mistakes. A simulation is an educational process that can replicate clinical practices in a safe environment. Purpose The purpose of this study was to explore and describe how the fourth year and clinical intern nursing students perceived simulation based learning in contributing their ability to transfer their learning from theory into practice. Objectives To explore the conceptualization of Simulation based learning amongst final year and intern nursing students, and to explore their challenges and perception in implementing it, during their clinical practice. Methods The study used descriptive mixed method and data was collected using focus groups and pre validated semi structured questionnaire. All focus group discussions were audiotaped, transcribed verbatim, and narratives were compared with the recordings to establish accuracy, credibility and reliability of data. Qualitative narratives were translated to English and analysed through an inductive thematic content analysis. Results Two major themes were identified Self confidence and satisfaction subcategorized in terms of enhancing collaboration, improve personal and interpersonal skills, and patient outcomes. The three learning domains in education are the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. Cognitive learning domain behavior involves thinking, reasoning, memorizing, comprehension, calculation, analyzing. Affective learning involves feeling, valuing, interest, responding. While psychomotor includes physical activities such as coordination and use of motor skills measured in speed, precision, distance and procedures. Two
hypotheses were formulated to test the expected level coverage of learning domains by lecturers in Cross River University of Technology. The study population comprised all academic staff in Cross River University of Technology, and 100 lecturers were randomly selected as sample for this study. Data collection instrument was a facts finding questionnaire titled learning domain coverage questionnaire. The major findings were that learning domains coverage in continuous assessment tests by academics in Cross River University of Technology was not significantly higher than the expected. There was also no
significant difference in learning domain coverage among faculties in Cross River University of Technology. It was recommended that continuous assessment tests should ensure adequate coverage of the learning domain particularly the cognitive and psychomotor domains. Seminars and workshops should be organized for all academic staff by test experts.

Increasing patient acuity and complex health care demand the need for preparing competent graduate nurses. However, reduced availability of clinical setting exists translating to difficulties obtaining patient care experiences for nursingstudents. This ongoing issue demands nurse educators to seek alternative teaching strategies. High-fidelity simulation experiences can provide learning environment very similar to the clinical setting. The purpose of this descriptive co-relational quantitative research study was to examine what relationships, if any, existed between associate degree nursing students' self-confidence in learning and their perceived presence of five instructional design characteristics in a high-fidelity simulation learning experience.
The nursing students' perceived experiences were measured by the NLN (National League for Nursing) Self-Confidence in Learning and Simulation Design Survey instruments. Study participants were asked to rate the level of importance of each variable (Self-Confidence and Simulation Design Instruments) on a Likert scale with the following rating: 1= strongly disagree to 5= strongly agree. The results of this study identified students' perceptions on the importance of realism and debriefing (feedback/guided reflection) in a simulation experience. Additional findings highlighted the importance to students of definitive objectives and information, which influence their self-confidence in learning within a simulation learning environment.
It is evident the use of simulation as an educational tool is becoming more prevalent in the health care settings. This is especially important in response to the growing shortage of accessible clinical sites and available faculty. The findings of this study support the need for more quantitative research to evaluate the use of high-fidelity simulation experiences on nursing students learning outcomes

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to apply a Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process model FAHP for estimating students' importance indexes problem, where the measures of students' attitudes and responses are often uncertain or difficult to determine by using non-fuzzy model. Fuzzy set theory treats a kind of uncertainty called fuzziness. It shows that the boundary of “yes” or “no” is ambiguous and appears in the meaning of words or included in the subjunctives or recognition of human beings. Design/methodology/approach: This paper adapts FAHP to analysis students' satisfaction for the services submitted by the university to enhance learning process and circumstance environment for students, this area of researches is still out of university importance. For the purposes of the survey, questionnaires were designed for all the factors which are affecting in students' satisfaction and most probably all these factors are taken according to their suitable priority. There were five main criterions in the questionnaires. Criterion one focuses on administrative university services Si, the second criterion concentrate with teaching and learning process Ti, while the third criterion is university climate and student activities Ai, the fourth criterion covers the administrative facilities Fi, and the fifth criterion is learning facilities students Li, were asked to measure their perceived experiences with those criterions. Each criterion contains some of sub criteria. Findings: The results illustrate that the quality of teachers T1, Opportunities for recreational activities A1, fair evaluation for students T6, and remedial support A3 are the most important indexes for students. The proposed model would help decision-makers to enhancement the quality of the services and may be adding other facility to make the university more attractive. Research limitations/implications: This paper makes some assumptions such as the number of sample are taken from seven colleges only and not cover all colleges in the university and concentrated about the final levels. Originality/value: This paper introduces fuzzy theory with AHP approach to the research of university services as customers in public firms and it has reached some valuable conclusions, which has opened up a new field of study in the universities services area

Objective To assess the effectiveness of planned teaching programme on knowledge regarding first aid management of epilepsy in school children among teachers. Materials and methods A quantitative research approach with Pre Experimental one group pretest and post test design was used to conduct the study in selected schools of Greater Noida. Non probability purposive sampling technique was employed to select 30 school teachers. A self structured knowledge questionnaire containing 26 items were used for assessing the level of knowledge among the subjects. Data were analyzed using SPSS. Results The mean knowledge score of the school teachers in pretest 14.03±4.514 is lesser than the mean knowledge score of school teachers in post test 18.23±3.848, t value 2.045 which is significant P = 0.05.There was an association found between the score level with their previous source of information. Conclusion The study is concluded that planned teaching programme was effective to enhance knowledge among school teachers regarding first aid management of epilepsy. Terminal Competency Assessment of Core Nursing Knowledge in a State UniversityRyan Michael Oducado
Assessment of educational outcomes upon completion of the nursing program is one way to inform academic institutions of the effectiveness of their teaching-learning practices. A descriptive correlational study design was carried out among 141 graduating nursing students of West Visayas State University to assess their terminal cognitive competency on core nursing knowledge framed under the National Nursing Competency Standards’ 11 Key Areas of Responsibility. All regular graduating students in the year 2015 with complete records of secondary data needed for the study were included. A validated and reliability tested questionnaire was used to assess the terminal core nursing knowledge competencies of the students. Results revealed that students, prior to graduation, had good core nursing knowledge. Significant differences were found in the terminal core nursing knowledge of students when grouped according to Nursing Aptitude Test (NAT) and academic performance in professional nursing courses, with students who had excellent and superior NAT performance and those with very good and outstanding academic performance in professional nursing courses having significantly higher terminal core nursing knowledge. NAT and academic performance had significant, positive correlation to core nursing knowledge. Further, NAT and academic performance accounted for 46% of variance explained in the core nursing knowledge of nursing students. Higher Education Institutions, therefore, must commit themselves in providing quality nursing education by ensuring proper, responsive and relevant implementation of the nursing curriculum. This in turn may translate to attainment of intended educational outcomes and learners knowledgeable of the basic foundation of nursing practice.

Virtual Laboratory are frequently measured effective learning tools, meanwhile their visual and concept power empower students to better known physical structures and phenomena. However, in previous research has not been much developed Virtual Physics Laboratory that is used to measure the character education of students. This research aims to Influences and apply Virtual Physics Laboratory (VPL) for assessment millennial character education with System Recording Students Character (SRSC). The study focused on the VPL Conceptual Change of Character Education test results. The sample consisted of 60 students’ whose age ranging from 20 to 21 years old with research design Randomized post-test only experiment group. Data to draw conclusions of research results, collected through the provision of concept tests. Conceptual Change data of Character Education that will be obtained from both groups are searched for the average Gain. Specific targets to be achieved in this research are innovations in the development of assessment tools that are valid and easy to use and can be done with Virtual Physics Laboratory for assessment millennial character education with System Recording Students Character can be done anytime and not limited by time. The result of the research showed that the N-gain mastery of the experimental group concept was 0,33 (32,6%) The conclusions of VPL with SRSC research can be used in the evaluation of physics learning because of the quality of the material according to expert judgment in the category of "excellent" and effective in facilitating assessment to character education of students.

teaching/learning modality and replaced efficiently the animal laboratories sessions in teaching the intended
skills outcomes of different undergraduate Medical Courses: Physiology, Clinical Skills, Surgery and
Pharmacology. This innovation in the undergraduate medical education has to be critically evaluated;
weighing the possible advantages, disadvantages and pitfalls of this upward trend before designing any

Nursing and Health care. Team teaching is used to perform this activity and evaluated by Return
Demonstration in the laboratory class and once more in the Final Return Demonstration or final exam.
Tabulating all procedures and steps is a tedious matter doing it manually. In this study the proponents
designed an RLE Scorer web forms based on Google survey forms to collect students performance and to
computer for their equivalent marks. The focus of the study is in RLE 3 or parenteral drug administration.
The collected data was saved in the Google drive and downloaded later; the results were treated
statistically to find the mean score in all 5 procedures of RLE 3, and to find the difference between male
and female respondents and the difference of variance based on rating. It was shown that the students
performed generally well reaching the passing mark. The male students fared better in all procedures
compared to femalebut there was no significant difference established. The purpose of the study is to
encourage technological adaptation in collecting performances of nursing students, promoting team
teaching in training of nursing skills in RLE thus supporting quality nursing education and nursing
informatics.

Background This study entitled “the effectiveness of low fidelity simulation training technology in nursing education in Buea municipality” was aimed at examining the effectiveness of low fidelity simulation in the training of nursing students. Low fidelity simulators have been utilized quite effectively by students to practice psychomotor skills in a controlled environment. Methodology A cross sectional descriptive design was used employing a concurrent nested mixed method approach. All students enrolled for undergraduate degree nursing program were involved in the study. Data was collected from 85 nursing students using a semi structured questionnaire from three nursing institutions. Open ended questions were analyzed thematically with the help of exploratory tables whereby umbrella terms codes or themes were derived and integrated in the predefined list of indicators. Close ended questions’ data were entered using EpiData Version 3.1 and analysed with the support of SPSS version 21.0. All statistics were presented at the 95 Confidence Level CL , level of significance or Alpha set at 0.05. Results Findings revealed that nursing students know what a mannequin is 94.1 and identified low fidelity simulation as a support to clinical practice 83.5 . Set objectives were met following simulation activities 78.8 despite its low reality with transfer of knowledge from theory to practice 87.1 indicating increase in frequency of use in training from once a month in first year 57.6 to more than three times a month in the fourth year 51.8 . Also, it was identified from the coded themes that learners enjoy participating in simulations and find them rewarding and educationally satisfying with students indicating that it results in learning, acquisition of knowledge and practical skills amongst others and that more time should be allocated for the simulation activity. Conclusion It is based on these findings that the researcher concludes that low fidelity simulation is an effective teaching and learning method when best practices are adhered to. The researcher therefore recommends that Simulation activities should be carried out more frequently to enable the students become familiar with case scenarios for better understanding when they occur in real clinical practice. Increasing patient acuity and complex health care demand the need for preparing competent graduate nurses. However, reduced availability of clinical setting exists translating to difficulties obtaining patient care experiences for nursingstudents. This ongoing issue demands nurse educators to seek alternative teaching strategies. High-fidelity simulation experiences can provide learning environment very similar to the clinical setting. The purpose of this descriptive co-relational quantitative research study was to examine what relationships, if any, existed between associate degree nursing students' self-confidence in learning and their perceived presence of five instructional design characteristics in a high-fidelity simulation learning experience.
The nursing students' perceived experiences were measured by the NLN (National League for Nursing) Self-Confidence in Learning and Simulation Design Survey instruments. Study participants were asked to rate the level of importance of each variable (Self-Confidence and Simulation Design Instruments) on a Likert scale with the following rating: 1= strongly disagree to 5= strongly agree. The results of this study identified students' perceptions on the importance of realism and debriefing (feedback/guided reflection) in a simulation experience. Additional findings highlighted the importance to students of definitive objectives and information, which influence their self-confidence in learning within a simulation learning environment.
It is evident the use of simulation as an educational tool is becoming more prevalent in the health care settings. This is especially important in response to the growing shortage of accessible clinical sites and available faculty. The findings of this study support the need for more quantitative research to evaluate the use of high-fidelity simulation experiences on nursing students learning outcomes

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to apply a Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process model FAHP for estimating students' importance indexes problem, where the measures of students' attitudes and responses are often uncertain or difficult to determine by using non-fuzzy model. Fuzzy set theory treats a kind of uncertainty called fuzziness. It shows that the boundary of “yes” or “no” is ambiguous and appears in the meaning of words or included in the subjunctives or recognition of human beings. Design/methodology/approach: This paper adapts FAHP to analysis students' satisfaction for the services submitted by the university to enhance learning process and circumstance environment for students, this area of researches is still out of university importance. For the purposes of the survey, questionnaires were designed for all the factors which are affecting in students' satisfaction and most probably all these factors are taken according to their suitable priority. There were five main criterions in the questionnaires. Criterion one focuses on administrative university services Si, the second criterion concentrate with teaching and learning process Ti, while the third criterion is university climate and student activities Ai, the fourth criterion covers the administrative facilities Fi, and the fifth criterion is learning facilities students Li, were asked to measure their perceived experiences with those criterions. Each criterion contains some of sub criteria. Findings: The results illustrate that the quality of teachers T1, Opportunities for recreational activities A1, fair evaluation for students T6, and remedial support A3 are the most important indexes for students. The proposed model would help decision-makers to enhancement the quality of the services and may be adding other facility to make the university more attractive. Research limitations/implications: This paper makes some assumptions such as the number of sample are taken from seven colleges only and not cover all colleges in the university and concentrated about the final levels. Originality/value: This paper introduces fuzzy theory with AHP approach to the research of university services as customers in public firms and it has reached some valuable conclusions, which has opened up a new field of study in the universities services area

Objective To assess the effectiveness of planned teaching programme on knowledge regarding first aid management of epilepsy in school children among teachers. Materials and methods A quantitative research approach with Pre Experimental one group pretest and post test design was used to conduct the study in selected schools of Greater Noida. Non probability purposive sampling technique was employed to select 30 school teachers. A self structured knowledge questionnaire containing 26 items were used for assessing the level of knowledge among the subjects. Data were analyzed using SPSS. Results The mean knowledge score of the school teachers in pretest 14.03±4.514 is lesser than the mean knowledge score of school teachers in post test 18.23±3.848, t value 2.045 which is significant P = 0.05.There was an association found between the score level with their previous source of information. Conclusion The study is concluded that planned teaching programme was effective to enhance knowledge among school teachers regarding first aid management of epilepsy. Terminal Competency Assessment of Core Nursing Knowledge in a State UniversityRyan Michael Oducado
Assessment of educational outcomes upon completion of the nursing program is one way to inform academic institutions of the effectiveness of their teaching-learning practices. A descriptive correlational study design was carried out among 141 graduating nursing students of West Visayas State University to assess their terminal cognitive competency on core nursing knowledge framed under the National Nursing Competency Standards’ 11 Key Areas of Responsibility. All regular graduating students in the year 2015 with complete records of secondary data needed for the study were included. A validated and reliability tested questionnaire was used to assess the terminal core nursing knowledge competencies of the students. Results revealed that students, prior to graduation, had good core nursing knowledge. Significant differences were found in the terminal core nursing knowledge of students when grouped according to Nursing Aptitude Test (NAT) and academic performance in professional nursing courses, with students who had excellent and superior NAT performance and those with very good and outstanding academic performance in professional nursing courses having significantly higher terminal core nursing knowledge. NAT and academic performance had significant, positive correlation to core nursing knowledge. Further, NAT and academic performance accounted for 46% of variance explained in the core nursing knowledge of nursing students. Higher Education Institutions, therefore, must commit themselves in providing quality nursing education by ensuring proper, responsive and relevant implementation of the nursing curriculum. This in turn may translate to attainment of intended educational outcomes and learners knowledgeable of the basic foundation of nursing practice.

Virtual Laboratory are frequently measured effective learning tools, meanwhile their visual and concept power empower students to better known physical structures and phenomena. However, in previous research has not been much developed Virtual Physics Laboratory that is used to measure the character education of students. This research aims to Influences and apply Virtual Physics Laboratory (VPL) for assessment millennial character education with System Recording Students Character (SRSC). The study focused on the VPL Conceptual Change of Character Education test results. The sample consisted of 60 students’ whose age ranging from 20 to 21 years old with research design Randomized post-test only experiment group. Data to draw conclusions of research results, collected through the provision of concept tests. Conceptual Change data of Character Education that will be obtained from both groups are searched for the average Gain. Specific targets to be achieved in this research are innovations in the development of assessment tools that are valid and easy to use and can be done with Virtual Physics Laboratory for assessment millennial character education with System Recording Students Character can be done anytime and not limited by time. The result of the research showed that the N-gain mastery of the experimental group concept was 0,33 (32,6%) The conclusions of VPL with SRSC research can be used in the evaluation of physics learning because of the quality of the material according to expert judgment in the category of "excellent" and effective in facilitating assessment to character education of students.

year and 2nd year students to prepare them for actual scenario in the hospital by practising skills related to
Nursing and Health care. Team teaching is used to perform this activity and evaluated by Return
Demonstration in the laboratory class and once more in the Final Return Demonstration or final exam.
Tabulating all procedures and steps is a tedious matter doing it manually. In this study the proponents
designed an RLE Scorer web forms based on Google survey forms to collect students performance and to
computer for their equivalent marks. The focus of the study is in RLE 3 or parenteral drug administration.
The collected data was saved in the Google drive and downloaded later; the results were treated
statistically to find the mean score in all 5 procedures of RLE 3, and to find the difference between male
and female respondents and the difference of variance based on rating. It was shown that the students
performed generally well reaching the passing mark. The male students fared better in all procedures
compared to femalebut there was no significant difference established. The purpose of the study is to
encourage technological adaptation in collecting performances of nursing students, promoting team
teaching in training of nursing skills in RLE thus supporting quality nursing education and nursing
informatics.

Background This study entitled “the effectiveness of low fidelity simulation training technology in nursing education in Buea municipality” was aimed at examining the effectiveness of low fidelity simulation in the training of nursing students. Low fidelity simulators have been utilized quite effectively by students to practice psychomotor skills in a controlled environment. Methodology A cross sectional descriptive design was used employing a concurrent nested mixed method approach. All students enrolled for undergraduate degree nursing program were involved in the study. Data was collected from 85 nursing students using a semi structured questionnaire from three nursing institutions. Open ended questions were analyzed thematically with the help of exploratory tables whereby umbrella terms codes or themes were derived and integrated in the predefined list of indicators. Close ended questions’ data were entered using EpiData Version 3.1 and analysed with the support of SPSS version 21.0. All statistics were presented at the 95 Confidence Level CL , level of significance or Alpha set at 0.05. Results Findings revealed that nursing students know what a mannequin is 94.1 and identified low fidelity simulation as a support to clinical practice 83.5 . Set objectives were met following simulation activities 78.8 despite its low reality with transfer of knowledge from theory to practice 87.1 indicating increase in frequency of use in training from once a month in first year 57.6 to more than three times a month in the fourth year 51.8 . Also, it was identified from the coded themes that learners enjoy participating in simulations and find them rewarding and educationally satisfying with students indicating that it results in learning, acquisition of knowledge and practical skills amongst others and that more time should be allocated for the simulation activity. Conclusion It is based on these findings that the researcher concludes that low fidelity simulation is an effective teaching and learning method when best practices are adhered to. The researcher therefore recommends that Simulation activities should be carried out more frequently to enable the students become familiar with case scenarios for better understanding when they occur in real clinical practice. ABSTRACT: Nursing students need information literacy and academic writing skills to conduct research. The
aim of this study was to explore the information literacy and academic writing skills of final year undergraduate
nursing students in Buea, identify the various challenges faced during academic writing and to outline their
perceived opinions on the effective assistance of educators during academic writing. A cross-sectional study
design was used. The study duration was for five months. A sample of 200 final year nursing students was
purposively selected to take part in the study from four nursing institutions in Buea, Cameroon and distributed
by probability proportionate to size. Data was collected using a semi-structured questionnaire and analyzed
descriptively using SPSS 23.0. qualitative data generated from the open-ended questions were analyzed using
thematic content analysis, grounding and transcriptions. The Chi-square test was used to measure association
between categorical variables. Majorityof the respondents reported to have moderate information literacy skills
102(51.0%) and moderate academic writing skills92(46.0%). Also, they faced challenges during academic
writing such as: poor supervision 128(64.0%), ineffective feedback from supervisors 120(60.0%), poor
knowledge on search engines 114(57.0%), incompetency making conclusions on work read 112(56.0%),
ineffective teaching of academic writing 106(53.0%) and poor usage of search engines 102(51.0%). The
respondents suggested that effective and efficient teaching of academic writing 130(65.0%), effective feedback
80(40.0%), close supervision 60(30.0%), effective teaching of information literacy 25(12.5%) and search
engines 23(11.5%), and seminars 7(3.5%) could enhance their academic writing.

Abstract:
This study analyzes the students' academic performance by comparing the blended learning environment and traditional learning environment. It has been observed whether there is a significant difference between the academic achievement grade dispersions and the male-female students' grades. The study has been carried out in Diyarbakir Anatolian High School in 2010-2011 academic year first semester biology courses. For the study, two quantitative courses sections have been selected among the classes formed by secondary school senior students. Cluster analysis has been conducted to provide the objectivity when forming the experiment and control groups. The study has been conducted with 54 participants, 19 males and 8 females for the experiment group and 18 males and 9 females for the control group. The experiment group continued its education in blended learning environment and the control group continued its education in traditional learning environment. The created learning environments have focused the genetics topic of the biology course and lasted for 6 weeks. During the study, pre-test and final-test have been used for the academic achievement analysis. According to the results acquired at the end of the study, a significant difference hasn't been found between the two groups at the end of the pre-test applied to experiment and control groups. Besides, in accordance with the averages of the final test grades, the experiment group has been found more successful than the control group. In both of the learning environments, female students have turned out to be more successful than the male students.

Counselling as a Correlate of Internship Training of Nursing Students in the ...ijtsrd
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of counselling support on the internship training of nursing students in the Fako Health District of the Southwest Region Cameroon. Counselling support entails the provision of special advice and guidance from more experienced colleagues to percept and implement individualized patient care. It also addresses emotional, social, and personal guidance and advice in the learning environment. Specifically, it sought to establish whether there were any links between counselling and the training of students. The sequential explanatory design with the mixed method was adopted for the study. A sample of 345, including 325 second, third and fourth year students and 20 guidance counsellors were considered for the study. This sample was purposefully and conveniently selected. Data was collected quantitatively and qualitatively using questionnaires, focus group discussion guides and interviews. Data was entered using Epidata verse on 3.1 and exploratory statistics were ran to identify questionable entries, inconsistency in responses and others. Descriptive statistics were used to present distributions between and within subsets using frequency distributions, percentages and multiple response sets. Hypotheses were verified using binary logistic regression analysis and omnibus test of model coefficient, the likelihood ratio test and Wald statistics were used to appraise the degree of significance of relationships between psychosocial support indicators and internship training of nursing students. Here the Cox and Snell R Square were used to determine the explanatory power. Thematic analyses were used to analyse focus group discussions and interview data. Findings showed that counselling support was a necessary ingredient in internship training of nurses. The findings showed that, counselling 2=37.047 P=0.000 had a predictive power of 13.9 . Overall, 94.5 of students emphasized the importance of counselling during training. It was concluded that given the high levels of challenges and stressors associated with training, counselling should be considered as an unavoidable variable in elevating supportive, healthy and psychologically stable learning environments for students during training. It is therefore recommended that there should be an effective provision of counselling support through the creation of more emotionally welcoming spaces in the academic environment, more mentorship programs, a clinical environment of personal support which is sensitive to student’s psychosocial needs being a critical factor that will transform student’s anti academic attitude towards learning, periodic debriefing and counseling sessions that will assist the students to socialize to become a professional, which will also allay their anxiety levels during their educational training and thus increase academic performance. Professional Etiquettes among Nursing Studentsijtsrd
Professional etiquette, a critical link for carrier success. Etiquette is more than good manners it's a tool for cultivating good relationship. More than most careers, Nursing is characterized by professional relationship among different people in numerous settings. Professional etiquettes are most important aspect in the student's life. The objective of the study was to assess the professional etiquettes among nursing students. 160 students were selected from B.Sc. Post basic and M.Sc. Nursing subject by disproportionate Simple Random Sampling Technique at Saraswati Nursing Institute, Dhianpura, Punjab. From each class of B.Sc. and Post basic 25 student and from M.Sc. 10 students were taken in the study. Professional Etiquettes Self Structured Likert PESL scale was prepared to assess the professional etiquettes. Content validity of the tool was determined. Reliability r=0.75 of the tool was tested by split half method and Karl Pearson coefficient correlation formula. A pilot study was conducted by interviewing 15 respondents who fulfil the sampling criteria with the help of help of PESL scale. The data collected from the respondents was analysed by using descriptive statistics. The tool was found feasible and practicable. Assessment of professional etiquettes of the nursing students revealed that majority of students 93.75 of students rated themselves as highly followed professional etiquettes whereas 6.25 students rated themselves as average followed professional etiquettes. The overall 87.82 of students rated themselves as highly followed professional etiquettes. Domain wise assessment scored showed highest percentage 91.65 of students rated themselves in etiquettes in library whereas low 82.14 of students rated themselves in etiquettes in classroom. there is significant difference with demographical variable. So finding of the study revealed that 87.82 students were rated themselves high professional etiquettes. The study conclude that majority of nursing students rated themselves highly professional etiquettes. Online learning has become the mainstay during this COVID 19 lockdown. Students in the professional courses had to adjust themselves to the new teaching method. The present study has been conducted to evaluate and compare the metaphor of thought by the medical and dental students regarding online teaching. A self directed questionnaire was given to 200 participants 120 medical, 80 dental by Google form. Students were between 17 23 years age, pursuing their first year. Questions were given under five subheadings with three options'yes’, 'somewhat’ and 'no’. The responses were analyzed. 47.9 medical and 31.6 dental students replied 'yes’ for blended learning. 40 medical and 30.9 dental students opined there was no contentment with the subject. Mentors advice was useful for 44.4 medical and 59.9 dental students. Only 6.8 medical and 19.1 dental students could be able to manage time.26.8 medical and 13.4 dental students were satisfied with the clarity on the subject. Mixed responses were given by medical and dental students. Medical students preferred blended learning than dental students. Mentors advice was more helpful for dental students. Background and Objective Telehealth has become a well known tool for the delivery of health care in Saudi Arabia, and the perspective and knowledge of healthcare providers are influential in the implementation, adoption and advancement of the method. This systematic review was conducted to examine the current literature base regarding telehealth and the related healthcare professional perspective and knowledge in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Materials and Methods This systematic review was conducted by searching 7 databases including, MEDLINE, CINHAL, Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, PsycINFO, and ProQuest Central. Studies on healthcare practitioners telehealth knowledge and perspectives published in English in Saudi Arabia from 2000 to 2023 were included. Boland directed this comprehensive review. The researchers examined each connected study using the AXIS tool, which evaluates cross sectional systematic reviews. Narrative synthesis was used to summarise and convey the data. Results Out of 1840 search results, 10 studies were included. Positive outlook and limited knowledge among providers were seen across trials. Healthcare professionals like telehealth for its ability to improve quality, access, and delivery, save time and money, and be successful. Age, gender, occupation, and work experience also affect health workers knowledge. In Saudi Arabia, healthcare professionals face inadequate expert assistance, patient privacy, internet connection concerns, lack of training courses, lack of telehealth understanding, and high costs while performing telemedicine. Conclusions Healthcare practitioners telehealth perceptions and knowledge were examined in this systematic study. Its collection of concerned experts different personal attitudes and expertise would help enhance telehealths implementation in Saudi Arabia, develop its healthcare delivery alternative, and eliminate frequent problems. This research investigates the nexus between online discussions on Dr. B.R. Ambedkars ideals and their impact on social inclusion among college students in Gurugram, Haryana. Surveying 240 students from 12 government colleges, findings indicate that 65 actively engage in online discussions, with 80 demonstrating moderate to high awareness of Ambedkars ideals. Statistically significant correlations reveal that higher online engagement correlates with increased awareness p 0.05 and perceived social inclusion. Variations across colleges and a notable effect of college type on perceived social inclusion highlight the influence of contextual factors. Furthermore, the intersectional analysis underscores nuanced differences based on gender, caste, and socio economic status. So corporate disclosure through annual reports plays a vital role in the life of all the companies and provides valuable information to investors. The basic objectives of corporate disclosure is to give a true and fair view of companies to the parties related either directly or indirectly like owner, government, creditors, shareholders etc. in the companies act, provisions have been made about mandatory and voluntary disclosure. The IT sector in India is rapidly growing, the trend to invest in the IT sector is rising and employment opportunities in IT sectors are also increasing. This study investigated the impact of educational background and professional training on human rights awareness among secondary school teachers in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, India. The key findings reveal that higher levels of education, particularly a master’s degree, and fields of study related to education, humanities, or social sciences are associated with greater human rights awareness among teachers. Additionally, both pre service teacher training and in service professional development programs focused on human rights education significantly enhance teacher’s knowledge, skills, and competencies in promoting human rights principles in their classrooms. The Role of Mentoring and Its Influence on the Effectiveness of the Teaching ...ijtsrd
This paper reports on a study which was conducted to investigate the role of mentoring and its influence on the effectiveness of the teaching of Physics in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. The study adopted the convergent parallel mixed methods design, focusing on respondents in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. Both quantitative and qualitative data were collected, analysed separately, and the results were compared to see if the findings confirm or disconfirm each other. The quantitative analysis found that majority of the respondents 72 of Physics teachers affirmed that they had more experienced colleagues as mentors to help build their confidence, improve their teaching, and help them improve their effectiveness and efficiency in guiding learners’ achievements. Only 28 of the respondents disagreed with these statements. With majority respondents 72 agreeing with the statements, it implies that in most secondary schools, experienced Physics teachers act as mentors to build teachers’ confidence in teaching and improving students’ learning. The interview qualitative data analysis summarized how secondary school Principals use meetings with mentors and mentees to promote mentorship in the school milieu. This has helped strengthen teachers’ classroom practices in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. With the results confirming each other, the study recommends that mentoring should focus on helping teachers employ social interactions and instructional practices feedback and clarity in teaching that have direct measurable impact on students’ learning achievements. This study primarily focuses on the design of a high side buck converter using an Arduino microcontroller. The converter is specifically intended for use in DC DC applications, particularly in standalone solar PV systems where the PV output voltage exceeds the load or battery voltage. To evaluate the performance of the converter, simulation experiments are conducted using Proteus Software. These simulations provide insights into the input and output voltages, currents, powers, and efficiency under different state of charge SoC conditions of a 12V,70Ah rechargeable lead acid battery. Additionally, the hardware design of the converter is implemented, and practical data is collected through operation, monitoring, and recording. By comparing the simulation results with the practical results, the efficiency and performance of the designed converter are assessed. Energy becomes sustainable if it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Some of the definitions of sustainable energy include the considerations of environmental aspects such as greenhouse gas emissions, social, and economic aspects such as energy poverty. Generally far more sustainable than fossil fuel are renewable energy sources such as wind, hydroelectric power, solar, and geothermal energy sources. Worthy of note is that some renewable energy projects, like the clearing of forests to produce biofuels, can cause severe environmental damage. The sustainability of nuclear power which is a low carbon source is highly debated because of concerns about radioactive waste, nuclear proliferation, and accidents. The switching from coal to natural gas has environmental benefits, including a lower climate impact, but could lead to delay in switching to more sustainable options. “Carbon capture and storage” can be built into power plants to remove the carbon dioxide CO2 emissions, but this technology is expensive and has rarely been implemented. Leading non renewable energy sources around the world is fossil fuels, coal, petroleum, and natural gas. Nuclear energy is usually considered another non renewable energy source, although nuclear energy itself is a renewable energy source, but the material used in nuclear power plants is not. This paper aims to outline the executive regulations, survey standards, and specifications required for the implementation of the Sudan Survey Act, and for regulating and organizing all surveying work activities in Sudan. The act has been discussed for more than 5 years. The Land Survey Act was initiated by the Sudan Survey Authority and all official legislations were headed by the Sudan Ministry of Justice till it was issued in 2022. The paper presents conceptual guidelines to be used for the Survey Act implementation and to regulate the survey work practice, standardizing the field surveys, processing, quality control, procedures, and the processes related to survey work carried out by the stakeholders and relevant authorities in Sudan. The conceptual guidelines are meant to improve the quality and harmonization of geospatial data and to aid decision making processes as well as geospatial information systems. The established comprehensive executive regulations will govern and regulate the implementation of the Sudan Survey Geomatics Act in all surveying and mapping practices undertaken by the Sudan Survey Authority SSA and state local survey departments for public or private sector organizations. The targeted standards and specifications include the reference frame, projection, coordinate systems, and the guidelines and specifications that must be followed in the field of survey work, processes, and mapping products. The discussions between ellipsoid and geoid have invoked many researchers during the recent decades, especially during the GNSS technology era, which had witnessed a great deal of development but still geoid undulation requires more investigations. To figure out a solution for Sudans local geoid, this research has tried to intake the possibility of determining the geoid model by following two approaches, gravimetric and geometrical geoid model determination, by making use of GNSS leveling benchmarks at Khartoum state. The Benchmarks are well distributed in the study area, in which, the horizontal coordinates and the height above the ellipsoid have been observed by GNSS while orthometric heights were carried out using precise leveling. The Global Geopotential Model GGM represented in EGM2008 has been exploited to figure out the geoid undulation at the benchmarks in the study area. This is followed by a fitting process, that has been done to suit the geoid undulation data which has been computed using GNSS leveling data and geoid undulation inspired by the EGM2008. Two geoid surfaces were created after the fitting process to ensure that they are identical and both of them could be counted for getting the same geoid undulation with an acceptable accuracy. In this respect, statistical operation played an important role in ensuring the consistency and integrity of the model by applying cross validation techniques splitting the data into training and testing datasets for building the geoid model and testing its eligibility. The geometrical solution for geoid undulation computation has been utilized by applying straightforward equations that facilitate the calculation of the geoid undulation directly through applying statistical techniques for the GNSS leveling data of the study area to get the common equation parameters values that could be utilized to calculate geoid undulation of any position in the study area within the claimed accuracy. Both systems were checked and proved eligible to be used within the study area with acceptable accuracy which may contribute to solving the geoid undulation problem in the Khartoum area, and be further generalized to determine the geoid model over the entire country, and this could be considered in the future, for regional and continental geoid model. harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.

regulatory organizations have also begun to accept teaching
hours spent on simulation-based practice as a proxy for
some clinical placements or operative skills. (Rosenthal ME,
et al; 2010). Elspeth.M., & McDougall(2015 ) identifies that
Simulation is well-accepted teaching strategy for training
health care professionals, both technical skills such as
wound closure and nontechnical skills such as
communication can be taught using simulation technologies
that ranges from low-fidelity segmentedclinical task trainers
to high-fidelity full-body manikins. Further evidence of
reduced anxiety in student nurses regarding working with
people who have mental health problems has comefromthe
study of (Brown, 2015; Lehr and Kaplan, 2013; and SBE
better prepare students for practice especially in
communication and clinical understanding (Brown, 2015).
Elspeth M., & McDougall (2015) has stated that simulationis
an ideal educational and practice platform for the adult
learner because it provides an opportunity to build on an
existing knowledge base and that the goodsimulation-based
practice addresses the health care professional’s needs in a
practical and clinically relevant way that has immediate
application to daily professional activities.
Ethical approval:
Appropriate permission had been obtainedfromthenursing
institution scientific ethic review board for the approval to
conduct the study among Final year andinternstudentswho
had already been explored to simulation learning during
their course in the year 2014-2018 in their 4 years nursing
program. During their first and second year program they
were explored to moderate simulators, in their third year
low fidelity human simulatorswereusedfortheirsimulation
learning. In fourth year program both methods along with
standardized patients were also used to train them on
simulation.
Aim of the study:
Exploring and describing how the nursing students are
contributing their ability to transfer their learning from
theory into practice using simulation-based learning
practices.
Sampling method:
Each of the four focus group participantswhowerewillingto
participate in this study was included, thus representing
convenient sampling. Focus group participants are
frequently selectedusingpurposivesampling.(Vaughn,1996,
Morgan, 1997), where the researcher select participants
based on their knowledge and expertise of the subjectunder
investigation. (Talbot, 1995, Polit and Tatano Beck, 2006).
Therefore no claims should be made that findings can be
generalized to the larger population from which the sample
is selected.
Setting& Subjects:
The study was conducted in Maternity unit of two different
hospitals of suburban districts of southern region of India.
Only students who have heard about SBL were invited to
participate in this study. There are eight focus groupandthe
participants in each group maximum of ten who were
enrolled at the time of study to minimize bias and coercion.
Sample size was calculated based on previous descriptive
study (same population). In considering the Attrition rate in
our research, here 20% of the sample was again added to
the calculated sample size based on previous research.
Tool:
The tool was categorized into three sections, as Part I
(Demographic data), Part II, and Part III. Part II was “The
Perceived Learning Scale” that was used as a gold standard
test for the (SSCL) Students’ SatisfactionandSelf-confidence
in learning Scale. This instrument is a 13-item scale used to
measure student satisfaction with the simulation related
context (5 items) and self-confidence in learning (8 items).
Part III: The Educational Belief Scale was also used as the
gold standard test for the EPQ. The Educational Belief Scale
was developed by Yılmaz, Altınkurt, and Çokluk (2011). The
EPQ instrument has 16 items and includes the following
elements: learning (10 items); diverse ways of learning (2
items); high expectations (2 items); and collaboration (2
items). This instrument also used a 3-point Likert scale with
categories ranging from 1 (strongly disagree with the
statement) to 3 (strongly agree with the statement). The
necessary modifications were done in Tool II and III, based
on the objectives of this research study and the content
validity was performed by the experts in Nursing Education.
Validity and Reliability:
Student Satisfaction and Self Confidence in Learning
(SSCL) instrumentmeasuressatisfactionandself-confidence
in attaining the instruction for the simulation. The tool was
used from published research Vasile unvar et al in 2017.
(Cronbach’s alpha value of 0.77–0.85 for SCLS). The content
validity of SSCL was done by three nursing professionals
who are specialized in Maternity nursing and nursing
management.
Pilot study:
It was carried out to assess the tool clarity and applicability.
It applied to ten % of the sample from the selected
departments. The sample which shared inpilotingstage was
excluded from the main subjects of the studied sample. Data
was collected from the pilot study was analysed and
necessary modifications were done prior to the final
application of the study tools.
Data collection:
Open ended questionswere usedtogenerateresponsesfrom
the participants followed by documentation. The facilitator
of the focus group also conducted in-depth semi structured
interview to collect data on their perception on simulation
based learning for the duration of 30 to 60 minutes. The
students were briefed about the objective of the study and
written informed consent was taken for their participation.
All participants had been given enough opportunitytospeak
and express their opinion duringthesessionandtheconsent
was also obtained from each participant to audiotape their
responses.
Findings:
Of the total 80 participants who took part in this study
completely filled in questionnaires were returned by 66
participants. The overall scores of both the instrument were
obtained by calculating the mean of the scores on their
respective number ofitems. Higherscoresindicateincreased
recognition of educational best practices in simulation.

It was illustrated that among these 66 participants, about two third of them were females, while only one third of them were
from males 33.33% (22/66). Mean age of studentswas21.3(standarddeviation1.9)years(95%confidenceinterval being21.1
years to 21.5 years). Concerning their perceptions with regard to their application and benefits of their simulation training
what was learnt during their training period, it was found that none of the participants were in the strongly disagree category,
while most of them had a favourable perception about SBL 69.6% (46/66). Moreover the rest of them perceived neutrally,
21.21% (14/66). In terms of their demographic characteristics, the research revealed that the age of the students was not
influencing their quality of perception towards SBL, but the level of the study is statistically associated with their level of
perception during their training period at hospital. FavourableperceptionwasfoundtowardsSBL thatwassignificantlyhigher
among female students. (P < 0.05). Participants felt SBL was a reliable tool for improving clinical skills, patient safety, level of
confidence and to manage even the high risk and emergency situation. The result is compatible with PH Pucher et al 2017 in
their study on simulation to enhance patient safetyandoutcome.Itisinferredthatpre-simulationtrainingisnecessaryinorder
to support them to minimize their fatigue and stress, thus helping them in dealing with even highly uncooperative patient,
supported by the research Joseph et al 2015. As in our study, in other study by Joseph et al 2015, participants wanted
integration of SBL into nursing education curriculum so as to ensure continuity between simulated and clinical learning
environments.

Satisfaction with current learning:
The participants were interviewed based on the following items: The teaching methods used in this simulation were helpful
and effective. The simulation provided me with a variety of learning materials and activities to promote my learning the
concerned nursing curriculum. I enjoyed how my instructor taught the simulation. The teaching materials used in simulation
were motivating and helped me to learn. The way my instructor(s) taught the simulation was suitable to the way I learn. I am
confident that I am mastering the content of the simulation activity that my instructors presented to me. I am confident that
this simulation covered critical content necessary for the mastery of nursing curriculum. I am confident that I am developing
the skills and obtaining the required knowledge to perform necessary tasks in a clinical setting. My instructors used helpful
resources to teach the simulation. It is my responsibility as a student to learn what I need to know during my clinical activity.I
know how to get help when I do not understand the concepts covered in thesimulation.Iknowhowtousesimulationactivities
to learn critical aspects of these skills. It is the instructor’s responsibility to tell me what I need to learn of the simulation
activity content during class time.
Discussion:
The results revealed that demographic characteristics were not influencing their perception towards SBL (P < 0.82) except in
the category of gender and level of their education. It was evident by thedata thatfavourableperceptiontowardsSBL wasseen
significantly higher among female students.(P <0.05), whereasamongthemaleparticipants,theperception wasneutral.Ofthe
66 participants the majority 85.5% agreed that a pre-simulation scenario, what was learnt during their courseisbeneficial for

enhancing skill competencies during their clinical practice. The below pictureofKolb’sexperiential learningtheorymodel was
used as a conceptual model for this research, which represents four stages of learningcycleinwhichthelearnertouchesall the
bases such as concrete experience, reflective observation of the new experience, abstract conceptualization and active
experimentation.
Favourable perception towards SBL was seen significantlymoreamongintern nursing studentsthanfourthyearstudents.This
could be because of increase in course requirements felt during final years which is when students begin to actually feel the
need to see a variety of cases. Students reported that due to their simulation practices during their courses make learning
nursing easier and felt SBL was indeed an interesting experience which was similar to their observations during their clinical
training. Study findings are consistent with previous studiesfromotherregionsthathavehighlightedthebenefitsofsimulation
based education. (Abi smith et al; 2016). Participants In another study by Basher et al 2017 revealed reinforcedthe teamwork
approach during the students’ early phases of theircourseofstudy,andincorporating simulationintolaterphases canpromote
knowledge development, skill acquisition, and self-confidence.
It is quite interesting that male nurses gained an opportunity to overcome the barriers in dealing with maternity nursing unit
during their internship program and to obtain valuable clinical competencies using pre-simulation based education. Research
has shown that students expressed their concerns as their training motivates them to feel more comfortable and enjoyable.
Furthermore the participants expressed that the pre-simulated sessions duringtheircoursefacilitatedthemtoachieveclinical
learning outcomes.
Conclusion:
The intern nursing students showed a positive perception
and attitude toward simulation-based learning. They found
that simulation-based learning increased their knowledge
and understanding of the importance of the roles of other
professions, as well as their own role in providing patient
care. Furthermore, they perceived that simulation-based
learning improved their personal and interpersonal skills.
These positive findings may contribute to their future
success in an inter-professional team, which could lead to
improved patient outcomes. Therefore, future research is
needed to compare various settings on how the reported
benefits of simulation-based learningare reflectedinclinical
practice and related to patient outcomes.
