This study surveyed the relevance of career guidance among undergraduate students in the School of Science Education at the Federal College of Education (Technical) Bichi, Kano, Nigeria, focusing on the influence of stakeholders such as parents on career choice. The findings revealed that although a significant percentage of students discussed academic issues with their fathers, overall, there was a lack of effective career guidance, leading many to enroll in programs misaligned with their career aspirations. Recommendations include the recruitment of qualified career counselors and enhancement of career guidance services to improve student outcomes and reduce unskilled workforce production.
