Additional Waitemata Harbour Crossing Study
New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) prepared the business case looking at a range of public transport options, including heavy rail. The Transport Agency and Auckland Transport is working together on this part of the project, including any necessary route protection for public transport.
In 2013, the Government announced its support for a tunnel in preference to a bridge, to work in conjunction with the existing Auckland Harbour Bridge. The preferred route for the additional crossing is a tunnel running underground just south of the Onewa Road interchange on the North Shore and reach the isthmus at depth under Westhaven Marina. An additional crossing is likely to cost between $4 billion and $6 billion, and is likely to be needed between 2025 and 2030.
The creation of an additional harbour crossing to carry the bulk of SH1 traffic offers flexibility for the transport system to evolve over time and maximise benefits of infrastructural investment. The existing harbour bridge, for example, could be used to extend the Northern Busway into the CBD.

Additional Waitemata Harbour Crossing Study
New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) prepared the business case looking at a range of public transport options, including heavy rail. The Transport Agency and Auckland Transport is working together on this part of the project, including any necessary route protection for public transport.
In 2013, the Government announced its support for a tunnel in preference to a bridge, to work in conjunction with the existing Auckland Harbour Bridge. The preferred route for the additional crossing is a tunnel running underground just south of the Onewa Road interchange on the North Shore and reach the isthmus at depth under Westhaven Marina. An additional crossing is likely to cost between $4 billion and $6 billion, and is likely to be needed between 2025 and 2030.
The creation of an additional harbour crossing to carry the bulk of SH1 traffic offers flexibility for the transport system to evolve over time and maximise benefits of infrastructural investment. The existing harbour bridge, for example, could be used to extend the Northern Busway into the CBD.

- 25. 2. To interpret the originality report What is a Originality Report? It is Turnitin’s analysis of the submitted assignment, identifying any sections with matched text which may indicate plagiarism. An Originality Report is typically generated within 10 to 15 minutes of submission. The report generation time may vary due to the levels of usage during certain periods of the academic year or due to a very large submission. Pedagogically, it is not meant to penalise a student but to improve their academic integrity by avoiding plagiarism. 15

- 29. 19 In the old originality report, the color of the report icon indicates the overall similarity index of the paper, based on the amount of matching or similar text that was uncovered. IMPORTANT: These indices DO NOT reflect Turnitin’s assessment of whether a paper has or has not been plagiarised. Originality Reports are simply a tool to help an instructor and student find sources that contain text similar to submitted papers. The decision to deem any work plagiarised must be made carefully, and only after in depth examination of both the submitted paper and suspect sources in accordance with the standards of the class and institution where the paper was submitted.

- 37. However the originality report will be generated 24 hours later.Technically this delay is automatic and allows resubmissions to correctly generate without matching to the previous draft . Pedagogically, we advice student to make changes and improvement before submitting the next draft. 21

- 41. General comments - a general comment can be added to a paper by the instructor to write a longer statement or overall review and assessment in greater depth without reference to specific marks on the paper
