Use Case Scenario 1:
                                                                  LTE Rollout
               1.     An innovative CSP is planning to rollout a new LTE/4G
                      network
               2.     The CSP Risk Management Analyst is conducting a pre-
                      launch revenue assurance and fraud management risk
                      assessment
               3.     Based on the results, the analyst recommends the
                      suggested revenue assurance and fraud management
                      controls that are expected to provide the best ROI
               4.     The CSP is rolling the new LTE network, and the
                      suggested RA & Fraud controls are implemented
               5.     Following the rollout, the risk management analyst is
                      reevaluating the existing controls, and recommends fine-
                      tuning changes including implementing new controls

Use Case Scenario 2
                                                                   Mobile Money over LTE:
              1.     An innovative CSP already supplies 4G services over 4G, and wants to
                     broadcast a Global Motor Racing event where each Customer can
                     subscribe it over Mobile Money services.

              2.     Since this service depends on 3rd parties (e.g. financial sector provider),
                     CSP must guarantee that this service will be well controlled in order to
                     mitigate the Risks of Fraud and assure the correct revenue.

              3.     On its cockpit dashboards, CSP’s CFO has detected some alarming
                     Revenue Assurance indicators. At the same time, there were being
                     detected several Fraud events

              4.     After detecting both revenue leakages and fraud causes, CFO and its
                     Enterprise Risk Management team understands that happened several
                     Fraud incidents that generated the revenue losses.

              An innovative CSP is planning to launch new LTE/4G network
              RA and FM Risk Assessment is performed
              Focus on customer satisfaction during roll-out phase (satisfied customers
                during rollout have more impact than under billing)
              Selecting a set of RA and FM controls to be implemented
           Jan 2012
              LTE/4G Rollout begins, and selected RA & Fraud controls are implemented
           April 2012
              Controls are evaluated and compared with initial risk assessment
              Risk strategy is fine-tuned, and new controls are added

Demo Scenario – WeDo Technologies

               Taking advantage of rolling out LTE and to get more traction from its
                Customers, a CSP will broadcast for the 1st time a Global Motor Racing
                where service’s subscription will be made through Mobile Payments.

               Since this service also depends on 3rd party companies (TV and
                financial sector provider) CSP implemented a set of Fraud controls.

               Before the event CSP detects some misalignments between subscribed
                services on the network and billed. Through this situation, was
                implemented a new control at Fraud Management System to avoid this
                situation.

               During the event broadcasting, FM system has detected some probable
                new fraud events, mainly related with credit card payments

               LTE networks enable higher bandwidth applications (like video) and
                have the latency and jitter suitable for higher quality video and real-time
                financial transactions
               With LTE speeds and capabilities, usage will increase
               CSPs are moving from unlimited usage to capped usage, which creates
                the need for real-time rating and interest in subsidization by third parties
                interested in getting content in front of users on limited plans
               New business models - made possible with service aware charging and
                mobile money - require money transfers and more comprehensive
                service and revenue assurance capabilities
               CSPs will have many new partners (content and financial partners) and
                must ensure fraud and revenue leakage is identified quickly and
                resolved
               CSPs need tools for capitalizing on revenues while minimizing risk
