This document summarizes the status of research data management for chickpeas and groundnuts in tropical legumes. It outlines the establishment of trait dictionaries and crop ontologies, cataloguing of datasets, and accessibility of evaluation, germplasm, mapping, genotyping and QTL data through various databases and tools. Next steps include adding new traits, data curation, integrating data into field books, and documentation on data management wikis.
