same way because they have
di erent drives and interests.
There should be a conscious
e ort, too, to create a
welcoming classroom
atmosphere so that every
student is accepted and
a rmed.
Use active or participatory
learning in the classroom,
rather than having the students
merely sit and listen quietly.
There are a number of ways to
do so, such as integrating
discussions in the lectures and
facilitating experiential learning
activities.
Embrace collaborative learning,
which involves creating tasks or
formulating problems that can
be solved by arranging students
into groups. In doing so, not
only do they become more
productive, they learn how to
communicate, enjoy learning
relationship with peers, and
become accountable for their
own work.
Take advantage of technology in
order to catch the attention of
learners creatively and
innovatively. Educators should
just make sure to avoid
misusing technology that
becomes a distraction in the
classroom.
