3. Most tigers live in Asia, specifically throughout SOUTHEAST ASIA, CHINA, KOREA
AND RUSSIA.
Tigers like to live in SWAMPS, GRASSLANDS AND RAIN FORESTS
There are TREES, BUSHES AND CLUMPS OF TALL GRASS in places where tigers
inhabit, it shields the tiger from the sun when its EXTREMELY HOT.
Not only its protects them from the sun but also helps them to CAMOUFLAGE WITH
THEIR SURROUNDING AND SURPRISE THEIR PREY.
Unlike other cats, tigers LOVE WATER and are VERY SENSITIVE TO HEAT.
Tigers are very POWERFUL SWIMMERS they usually SOAK IN WATER.

sometimes its out of fear that of them
attacking people or livestock
sometimes its for their skin or bones which are
used in Chinese traditional medicines(though
they have no proven medical properties at all)
sometimes its just because certain people get
some sort of sick thrill out of killing things.

In ancient roman times, tiger were kept in menageries and
amphitheaters to be exhibited, trained and paraded, and
were often provoked to fight humans and exotic beasts.
Tigers became central zoo exhibit in the 18th century
Since the 17th century, tigers being rare and ferocious were
sought after to keep at Europeans castle as symbols of their
owner’s power.
6. In the early 1900’s ,there were around 100,000 tigers through out their range.
Today, an estimated total of around 3,000-4,500 exist in the wild.
