• Charmaine Thomas is a Senior Human Resources
Business Partner and a member of the Actalent HR team,
working to strengthen cohesion within departmental
strategies and priorities to create a thriving culture across

Bucek
• Alison has over 20 years’ experience in HR at various
levels, she has a passion for ensuring employees have
an engaging employee experience from all angle of a
business matrix. Currently, Alison is a Human
Resource Business Partner working in partnership with
executive leadership in the Central & North regions as
they launch the brand of Actalent services. During her
career she has partnered with business leaders in
emerging business lines with innovative ways to
increase employee performance through
development. Including developmental frameworks to
include employee success profiles and competency
assessments leading to individualized development
plans. Alison has a Master of Science in Admiration
from Central Michigan University and is Senior HRCI
certified & SHRM – SCP certified. She has received
the Allegis HR excellence award.
Theodia
Gillespie
• Theodia began working at the Quad County in 1988 serving
as the Employment and Program Director before she was
assigned as President in December of 1993. She oversees
all administration of education, youth, and workforce
development programs within the four Quad Counties,
DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will. During the Global
Pandemic, Quad County shifted services and was able to
help over 3200 families impacted by Covid with rental,
utility, & food assistance. Theodia currently sits on the Amita
Presence Leadership Board, Chairperson of the Board of
Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry, Waubonsee Community
College Foundation and as an advisor of the Dunham Fund.
Theodia has received the President’s Citation Award for its
outstanding work with youth in encouraging them to pursue
careers in science and technology. In addition, she has
received the Youth Motivation Award from the Illinois
Research Corridor Chapter and the “Best Supporting
Organization” Award from Hollywood Casino, Aurora, Inc.

Davyd
Jones
• Davyd is a strategic wealth advisor with Edward Jones
Investments partnering with business owners and families –
serving their current and future financial needs with a specific
focus on efficient income planning strategies. Prior to helping
families and businesses with the intricacies of wealth building or
protecting, Davyd terrorized offenses at Scheumann Stadium,
on the football field, for Ball State
University. Now, the former 2010 football team captain and four-
year letterman has shifted his passions and dedicated himself to
a life of service and giving back. If he isn’t back in Muncie,
serving on Ball State’s Black Alumni Constituent Society Board,
he’s serving in his community at Unity Performance Arts
Foundation - chair of the board of directors, Turnstone – board
member, the United Way – board member, Allen County Public
Library – foundation board member, the Foellinger Foundation –
finance and investment committee or Purdue University Fort
Wayne – Doemer School of business advisor council and
speaking at an event across the country.

Charmaine Thomas • Charmaine Thomas is a Senior Human Resources Business Partner and a member of the Actalent HR team, working to strengthen cohesion within departmental strategies and priorities to create a thriving culture across the business. She recently obtained her Life Coach certification, Diversity and Inclusion as well as Project Management.   • 3. Alison Bucek • Alison has over 20 years’ experience in HR at various levels, she has a passion for ensuring employees have an engaging employee experience from all angle of a business matrix. Currently, Alison is a Human Resource Business Partner working in partnership with executive leadership in the Central & North regions as they launch the brand of Actalent services. During her career she has partnered with business leaders in emerging business lines with innovative ways to increase employee performance through development. Including developmental frameworks to include employee success profiles and competency assessments leading to individualized development plans. Alison has a Master of Science in Admiration from Central Michigan University and is Senior HRCI certified & SHRM – SCP certified. She has received the Allegis HR excellence award.
  • 4. Theodia Gillespie • Theodia began working at the Quad County in 1988 serving as the Employment and Program Director before she was assigned as President in December of 1993. She oversees all administration of education, youth, and workforce development programs within the four Quad Counties, DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will. During the Global Pandemic, Quad County shifted services and was able to help over 3200 families impacted by Covid with rental, utility, & food assistance. Theodia currently sits on the Amita Presence Leadership Board, Chairperson of the Board of Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry, Waubonsee Community College Foundation and as an advisor of the Dunham Fund. Theodia has received the President’s Citation Award for its outstanding work with youth in encouraging them to pursue careers in science and technology. In addition, she has received the Youth Motivation Award from the Illinois Research Corridor Chapter and the “Best Supporting Organization” Award from Hollywood Casino, Aurora, Inc. •

Davyd Jones • Davyd is a strategic wealth advisor with Edward Jones Investments partnering with business owners and families – serving their current and future financial needs with a specific focus on efficient income planning strategies. Prior to helping families and businesses with the intricacies of wealth building or protecting, Davyd terrorized offenses at Scheumann Stadium, on the football field, for Ball State University. Now, the former 2010 football team captain and four- year letterman has shifted his passions and dedicated himself to a life of service and giving back. If he isn’t back in Muncie, serving on Ball State’s Black Alumni Constituent Society Board, he’s serving in his community at Unity Performance Arts Foundation - chair of the board of directors, Turnstone – board member, the United Way – board member, Allen County Public Library – foundation board member, the Foellinger Foundation – finance and investment committee or Purdue University Fort Wayne – Doemer School of business advisor council and speaking at an event across the country.
