OUR MISSION
We are a successful employment program dedicated to
reducing the number of children living in poverty by helping
low-income women, primarily single moms, build better
futures for themselves and their children through long-term
successful employment!
Our Purpose
Women seeking our services typically
want a better quality of life, but lack the
training, confidence and positive work
experience necessary to obtain and
maintain employment. Our unique
employment approach helps low-
income women develop the tools,
knowledge and self-confidence
necessary to compete for better jobs,
seek raises and promotions, and
become financially self-sufficient.

Volunteers
Through volunteering with PHP, I see women getting the
knowledge base and the chances that they wouldn’t have
had, had they not learned about this program. I love
knowing that my involvement with PHP is not just helping
women become employed or better employed—but we
are also leading by example for the next generation.
