This research aims to determine the optimal lot sizing method (Economic Order Quantity, Periodic Order Quantity, or Fixed Order Quantity) to achieve maximum inventory turnover at PT. Duta Kalingga Pratama. The study analyzes inventory turnover using these three methods for ribbons and scanners. Statistical tests are used to identify differences between the methods and determine the best approach for each product to balance inventory levels with customer demand.

Impact of Variable Ordering Cost and Promotional Effort Cost in Deteriorated ...
The instantaneous economic order quantity (EOQ) profit optimization model for deteriorating items is introduced for analyzing the impact of variable ordering cost and promotional effort cost for leveraging profit margins in finite planning horizons. The objective of this model is to maximize the net profit so as to determine the order quantity and promotional effort factor. For any given number of replenishment cycles the existence of a unique optimal replenishment schedule are proved and further the concavity of the net profit function of the inventory system in the number of replenishments is established. The numerical analysis shows that an appropriate policy can benefit the retailer, especially for deteriorating items. Finally, sensitivity analyses with respect to the major parameters are also studied to draw managerial decisions in production systems.

An EOQ model is constructed for deteriorating items with time dependent quadratic demand rate. It is assumed that the deterioration rate is constant and the supplier offers his retailer the credit period to settle the account of the procurement units. To solve the model it is further assumed that shortages are not allowed and the replenishment rate is instantaneous. We have presented the models under two different scenarios, viz., (i)the offered credit period is less than or equal to the cycle time and (ii) the offered credit period by the supplier to the retailer for settling the account is greater than cycle time. The objective is to minimize the retailers total inventory cost. Salvage value is also taken to see its effect on the total cost. A numerical example is given to study the effect of allowable credit period and the total cost of the retailer.

This manuscript deals in developing an EOQ model for time deteriorating items and allowing shortages in
the inventory. These shortages are considered to be completely backlogged. We have held that the
production rate is finite and infinite. In this manuscript, we developed EOQ models for perishable products
which consider continuous deterioration of a utility product and introduce an exponential penalty cost and
linear penalty cost function. The theoretical expressions are obtained for optimum cycle time and optimum
order quantity. The significant centre of our paper is to build up the EOQ model for time-deteriorating
items utilizing penalty cost with finite and infinite production rate. The mathematical solution of the model
has been done to obtain the optimal solution of the problem. The result is demonstrated with the help of
mathematical example. To conclude, sensitivity study is carried out with respect to the key parameters and
some managerial implications are also included. All the theoretical developments are numerically
justified.

This model studies the problem by proposing a continuous review inventory model under promotion by assuming that the units do not lost due to deterioration of the items. In this model optimization has been studied for applying promotional effort cost with promotion constraint. The effect of deteriorating items on the instantaneous profit maximization replenishment model under promotion is considered in this model. The market demand may increase with the promotion of the product over time when the units do not lost due to deterioration. In this model, promotional effort and replenishment decision are adjusted arbitrarily upward or downward for profit maximization model in response to the change in market demand within the planning horizon with fixed ordering cost. The objective of this model is to determine the optimal time length, the promotional effort and the replenishment quantity with fixed ordering cost so that the net profit is maximized and the numerical analysis show that an appropriate promotion policy can benefit the retailer and that promotion policy is important, especially for deteriorating items. Finally, sensitivity analyses of the optimal solution with respect to the major parameters are also studied to draw the managerial implications.

To solve the model it is further assumed that shortages are not allowed and the replenishment rate is instantaneous. We have presented the models under two different scenarios, viz., (i)the offered credit period is less than or equal to the cycle time and (ii) the offered credit period by the supplier to the retailer for settling the account is greater than cycle time. The objective is to minimize the retailers total inventory cost. Salvage value is also taken to see its effect on the total cost. A numerical example is given to study the effect of allowable credit period and the total cost of the retailer.

This manuscript deals in developing an EOQ model for time deteriorating items and allowing shortages in
the inventory. These shortages are considered to be completely backlogged. We have held that the
production rate is finite and infinite. In this manuscript, we developed EOQ models for perishable products
which consider continuous deterioration of a utility product and introduce an exponential penalty cost and
linear penalty cost function. The theoretical expressions are obtained for optimum cycle time and optimum
order quantity. The significant centre of our paper is to build up the EOQ model for time-deteriorating
items utilizing penalty cost with finite and infinite production rate. The mathematical solution of the model
has been done to obtain the optimal solution of the problem. The result is demonstrated with the help of
mathematical example. To conclude, sensitivity study is carried out with respect to the key parameters and
some managerial implications are also included. All the theoretical developments are numerically
justified.

This model studies the problem by proposing a continuous review inventory model under promotion by assuming that the units do not lost due to deterioration of the items. In this model optimization has been studied for applying promotional effort cost with promotion constraint. The effect of deteriorating items on the instantaneous profit maximization replenishment model under promotion is considered in this model. The market demand may increase with the promotion of the product over time when the units do not lost due to deterioration. In this model, promotional effort and replenishment decision are adjusted arbitrarily upward or downward for profit maximization model in response to the change in market demand within the planning horizon with fixed ordering cost. The objective of this model is to determine the optimal time length, the promotional effort and the replenishment quantity with fixed ordering cost so that the net profit is maximized and the numerical analysis show that an appropriate promotion policy can benefit the retailer and that promotion policy is important, especially for deteriorating items. Finally, sensitivity analyses of the optimal solution with respect to the major parameters are also studied to draw the managerial implications.

However, some companies' strategies did not perfectly match the external environment or current production technologies. In the opening remarks, the Minister discussed how fossil fuel subsidies have been a long-standing problem for developing countries like Indonesia, costing the government approximately $274 billion in 2014. To reduce this burden, Indonesia has eliminated subsidies for premium fuels while maintaining a $1,000 per liter diesel subsidy. The workshop aims to discuss recommendations for Indonesia and Mexico to reform energy pricing policies based on each country's experiences in removing fuel subsidies. The Minister declared the workshop officially open.

ABSTRACT MAHARJONO, ANDHIKO, Trisakti University, March 2011. “ Chosing the right lot sizing methods (Economic Order Quantity, Periodic Order Quantity and Fixed Order Quantity) to achieve the optimum inventory turnover, case study in PT. Duta Kalingga Pratama”. Major Advisor : Prof. Dr. Syamsir Abduh The background of this research was the procurement of material based on the right quality, time, quantity, place and price will determine the success of manufacturing industry to face all possibilities in the future as follow : unconstantly demand and the rising price in future. The huge availability of product compared to customer demand will add maintaining and storage cost, inventory capital, and also decreasing in quantity and quality of product for certain time. On the contrary, the small availability of product will affect production stagnation causing late fulfilling the demand of customer. It will make the company will get loss the customer trust. The objective of this research as follow : 1) to know whether there is difference between Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Periodic Order Quantity (POQ) and Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ) in resulting the inventory turnover of ribbon. 2) to know the right lot sizing method used in PT. Duta Kalingga Pratama in order to achieve optimum inventory turnover of ribbon. 3) to know whether there is difference between Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Periodic Order Quantity (POQ) and Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ) in resulting the inventory turnover of scanner. 4) to know the right lot sizing method used in PT. Duta Kalingga Pratama in order to achieve optimum inventory turnover of scanner. The design of this research applies normality test with Kolmogorov Smirnov and then comparative test with Kruskal-Wallis test to find out whether there is difference between Economic Order Quantity, Periodic Order Quantity, and Fixed Order Quantity. Then applies
