ThermoWood is a heat treated wood product made from Finnish grown pine and spruce. During the heat treatment process, the wood is heated to over 200 degrees Celsius which causes chemical and structural changes that improve the wood's durability, stability, and resistance to decay and insects. The resulting ThermoWood product is well-suited for use in exterior cladding and rain screens due to its increased durability in changing humidity conditions. ThermoWood is available in various pre-finished profiles for cladding and batten applications.
