8. At the Berlin wall Hyo
Jin Nim prays for the
end of atheistic
communism – the end
to a political system that
seeks power for itself
through discouraging
and undermining the
individual’s God given
potential; thus causing
people to become
increasingly reliant on
an authoritarian State
12. A conference on the end of communism and a student sports
festival also took place
13. An eventful rally, organised by Rev. Won Pil Kim, offers hope to
those who are trapped behind the wall. They are not forgotten.
Three years later the wall came down.
14. Vision of the
Unification Movement.
One world family under
God
The core principles
needed to reach this
goal – The 3 blessings:
• We all, each one of us, strive to fulfil our individual responsibility to become the best we
can be – developing our integrity, our relationship skills, our intellect, our emotional well-
being, and a heart to use our lives for the betterment of those around us.
• On that basis, we strive to build enriched marital-families – a place where both we and
our children continue our path of growth towards becoming children of God. We also
work with other families to build successful and flourishing communities. Our cultural
organisations – the media, the State, our education system, our faiths, etc – all work
together to support these ends.
• We increasingly learn to use natural resources for the purpose of goodness whilst, in the
meantime, we promote a sustainable use of resources for the sake of future generations.
