The Three Little Pigs Research Paper
The Big bad wolf and the three Little Pigs
Parody
Once upon a time the the two little pigs and the Big bad wolf were friends, the pig with the stick house and the pig with the brick house. Until one
day Pigers played the Wolfies in football for the championship title on TV. And of course the pigs favoirte team was the Pigers, and the wolf favorite
team was the Wolfies. So they made a bet if the Wolfies win the pigs give the wolf $100 and if the Pigers win the wolf owes the pigs $100.
The game was on friday night.
Friday night rolls around and the wolf gets all ready for the Pigs to come over and watch the game in the wolfes little one room square house. "Hay
wolf are you home," the Pigs said. " Yes I am come on in," the Wolf announced.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
And all three of these brothers our neighbors. So there houses our super close. So the wolf fiercely marches down to the pig with the stick house and
demanded his money, "No now go away stupid wolf!" the pig with the stick house shoutes.
Now the wolf is a pretty nice guy but if you call him stupid he gets mean. "That's it Pig I am done with your games open up ar i will break your door!"
the Wolf demands. "Never," the Pigs shouts.
So the Wolf breaks in and takes the money himself and the pigs tries to stop him but the pigs is not strong enough for the wolf. Now he goes over
to the other pigs house and the same thing happens again so the Wolf take his money and leaves. Later that night the police show up at his house and
arrest him. But you are probably wondering how the police found out, Now this is my favorite part. The so called not smart 3rd pig had cameras
facing the other house on his house. So the 3rd pig showed his evidence to the police. Oh one other thing when the Pig said that he wasn't brothers with
them because he was step brothers with the other Pigs.

Comparing The Wolf And The Three Little Pigs
It is important to know the history of "The Three Little Pigs." As Sutcliffe explains, the story started out as a nursery tale, almost identically to the way
it is told today. Around the beginning of the 1900, Grimm printed the story The Wolf and the Seven Little Little Kids. This story is not the exact same
as "The Three Little Pigs", however, it has many parallels. The fact that the story was taken away from the german author, explains why it focuses
on family and nature. The personification of the pigs would come from Grimm's aspect of adding nature. The family of the three pigs (although two
die) shows the differences that can occur within a family and how one way is can be better. THE TRUE STORY OF THE THREE LITTLE PIGS by

Little Red And The Case Of The Missing Grandma Essay
Little Red and the Case of the Missing Grandma Once upon a not so long ago time, there was a CSI agent named Little Red Riding Hood, and her
partner, The Woodsman. Throughout their careers, they had investigated some pretty odd cases. But none were as personal, or as different than
The Case of the Missing Grandma. Red and the Woodsman had just gotten a call to action. There had been a reported breaking and entering, and
the resident was nowhere to be found. They arrived at the scene of the crime, and nothing seemed to be out of place except for the door, which
appeared to have been kicked down. They swabbed the door to look for prints, and found what seemed to be paw prints. They then continued to
search the cottage with a black light. There was no blood anywhere, but they did find some saliva, which lead them to believe the grandma was still
alive, but wouldn't be for long. The search went on, and under the covers of the bed they found a decent amount of fur. They sent all of the samples
back to the forensics lab and waited for the results to come back.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There had been multiple reports filed by each of the pigs that they were being stalked. Unfortunately for them, each time someone went to investigate,
there was no one to be found. Generally, this made the department believe that they were just crying wolf (pun intended). It was only when they were
reported missing that anyone took the case seriously. The culprit was never truly identified, but we knew it was a wolf. Only a wolf could commit
such a monstrosity of a crime. Red and the Woodsman looked this case over about 24 times for any hint on how they might be able to find this
monster, but it only told them what they already knew; the culprit was without a doubt The Wolf. They could close two cases at once if they went
about this right, but it wouldn't be

Pigs or the wolf? By: kyren vasquez
In the story the three little pigs a big bad wolf comes and blows several pigs houses down. But that all changed when the wolfs side of the story came

Who Are The Three Pigs In Lord Of The Flies
Order! Order on the Island! The folktale of The Three Little Pigs tells a tale of three pigs who chose their material in creating their house based on
their knowledge and understanding of each material and what outcome they will receive by using it. Two out of the three pigs soon discover their
consequences of selecting poor materials as the building blocks of their house, as it is easily blown away by their predator, the big bad wolf. In William
Golding's, Lord of the Flies, three main characters must make similar decisions to the pigs in The Three Little Pigs. Each individual leader must make
decisions that will not only significantly affect themselves, but the other stranded boys as they try all strive to survive on the island. Just like the
three little pigs, the decisions made by Jack, Ralph and Piggy greatly changes their future. In the beginning of the of novel, Jack is already presented
as one who holds an amount of power and authority as he "[shouts] ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Despite Piggy's greater intelligence and insight he holds over the boys, he lacks many leadership qualities. Piggy suffers from asthma, is addressed
to as "fat boy"(2) in the novel, have no parents, wears glasses and does not have enough rapport with many boys to be likable. Although Piggy does
not have many people he could turn to, he holds the most powerful object on the island – the conch. Piggy views the conch as a "white, magical
shell"(200) which represents the "heart of civilization"(198). Tragically, the conch falls and smashes "into a thousand white fragments"(200) as Piggy
fell forty feet, destroying the symbol of order and civilization. Ironically, in the folktale of The Three Little Pigs, the lastpig builds a house of brick
which shields and protects the first two pigs who made unstable houses, similar to how Piggy's specs cause the uncontrollable fire on the island which
ends up saving Ralph and

The Three Little Pigs Analysis
Today we're are going to talk about the story of the three little pigs. We will discuss what the 3 little pigs did and how they're actions have
consequences, whether they be good or bad. We're also going to discuss the message that the author wants to convey to the reader.
There once was a story of three little pigs. They had just become adults when it was time to move out of mama piggy's house. The youngest piggy
moved out and built himself a house of straw. The middle piggy moved out and built himself a house of sticks. The oldest piggy moved out and built
himself a house of bricks. They lived in these houses, satisfied with their work. One day a big bad wolf wandered by, seeking to devour the three little
piggies. He walked to the youngest

Stereotypes In Red Riding Hood
Reading fairy tales or seeing them represented has become part of an everyday routine for children. As Baker–Sperry states, "Through interaction that
occurs within everyday routines (Corsaro 1997), children are able to learn the rules of the social group in which they are a part" (Baker–Sperry
717–718). For example, through Red Riding Hood, children learn to listen to their parents and to be wary of strangers. Some of these messages are
harmful though; not all girls have to be naive and weak while boys are predacious wolves. Not everyone has to play the role that society assigns them.
A good example of this is Cory Edwards' 2005 retelling of Red Riding Hood, Hoodwinked. In this movie, Red (Anne Hathaway), the Big Bad Wolf
(Patrick Warburton), and Granny (Glenn Close) all get into a misunderstanding based on stereotypes of their roles. After it is resolved, they team up to
stop a criminal enterprise. Each character defies society's expectations in someway.
In the Grimm story, Little Red–Cap is naive and easily fooled. Red–Cap meets a wolf in the woods, "Red–Cap did not know what a wicked creature he
was, and was not at all afraid of him" (Grimm). She is then tricked into believing that he is her grandmother and he devours her. She later has to be
saved from death by the huntsman that happens to walk by (Grimm). She shows little agency and does not know enough to protect herself. This varies
greatly from Red in Hoodwinked. Towards the beginning of the movie, there is a scene

Comparing The Three Little Pigs And The Big Bad Wolf
Now let's just set this straight, there are many different stories about the three little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf or at least that was first story told
about that. I don't know who would made up this story about the Three little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf but it was wrong. The real story did
include 3 pigs and a Wolf but how it was told was an obscene lie about what had really happened. I am the third little pig and I am going to tell you
what had really happened. On one sunny afternoon me and my other two brothers Mike and Pike were heading out into the deep woods, to find some
fresh fruits for breakfast. We lived in a small little house in the woods by a big mucky swamp and some dead grass. There is never sun by where we
live it's always cloudy and bleak. We live with our friend Jack he a wolf. I know, I know what you're all thinking when you read that he's a wolf, ahh

my mailbox I saw that I got a letter, it was from Jack. When I opened it, it said, Dear Jim, Please pass this message to the other two pigs. I would
have written them a letter but they didn't build a mailbox. Anyway I hope you all are living in wonderful new life. I just want to let you know that I have
been thinking for a while and I've decided to give you all pay back. I would eat you but since I am a vegetarian and you are considered bacon I can't. I

Growing up, our parents taught us the right and the wrong, as well as the good and the bad. They became our guide. We can all remember a time we
have read the "Three Little Pigs". The bad wolf blowing the house of pigs down. Many authors have remade the "The Three Little Pigs" and changed
the plot and the morals accordingly to what's revolving around the world.
Pigs are being attacked by a wolf makes sense. The pig as the prey and the wolf as the predator. More recent remakes of the story have really changed
what goes on in the stories. The wolf animal is seen as the innocent while the pig is seen as the villain, it seems quite different that of the original

The film shows three pigs sing happily about how all they do is have fun. The cartoon had a song where the pigs frequently sang "Who's Scared of the

blows down the house of the first two pigs with the unstable houses, but they run away to the pig with the brick house. Meaning that this film was

SOMERSET PA (AP)–– A. Wolf took the stand today in his own defense. This shocked and stunned the media who predicted that he would not

And right in the middle of the pile of straw was the First Little Pig – dead as a doornail. He had been home the whole time. It seemed like a shame to
leave a perfectly good ham dinner lying there in the straw. So I ate it up. Think of it as a cheeseburger just lying there. I was feeling a little better.
But I still didn't have my cup of sugar . So I went to the next neighbor's house. This neighbor was the First Little Pig's brother. He was a little
smarter, but not much. He has built his house of sticks. I rang the bell on the stick house. Nobody answered. I called, "Mr. Pig, Mr. Pig, are you in?"
He yelled back."Go away wolf. You can't come in. I'm shaving the hairs on my shinny chin chin."
I had just grabbed the doorknob when I felt another sneeze coming on. I huffed. And I snuffed. And I tried to cover my mouth, but I sneezed a great

Old Fairy Tales Analysis
The fairy tales of old often have a sparse and often vague approach when it comes to characterization. This problem was more than likely brought
about due to how these tales were told to children and how these stories more than likely changed over time, via word of mouth. Yet, as we have
progressed and have begun a movement to novelize nearly everything in our society, we have come across the predicament of how these classic
caricatures must be brought into modern society. One of the biggest companies capitalizing on these classic tales is Disney. Known, and criticized,
for taking old fairy tales and adding more to the story in order to help sell their products to children and even adults. I say criticized, for while they
help bring these old tales back into the minds of children, they don't add much in the way of characterization, so they sadly don't take their characters
to the next level. Leave it to Fables: Legends in Exile to change that. Fables: Legends in Exile and even its video game prequel The Wolf Among Us
add more to the characters that honestly beats Disney at its' own game. All the old fairy tales have connections with each other, and helps to establish
their personalities and their pasts. With the context that comes with the comic, in that the Fables are in New York, due to them forced to leave their
homeland and coming up with the rules of their community, Fabletown. With this in mind you can see how their paths have crossed and how the

"I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house down!" Yes, this is a quote from the Big Bad Wolf himself. I'm assuming you've heard of Mr. Wolf,
but if you haven't, well you're most likely living under a rock. If you ever asked someone if they thought the Big Bad Wolf was a hero or villain,
they'd definitely say a villain and I can discern why considering he's a raving beast who does anything to satisfy his hunger, but I distinguish the
situation a little bit different. In this essay I will explain to you why the Big Bad Wolfis a hero through the morals behind three popular stories he
characterizes in, The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, and The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

experience the consequences of something before they can learn from it, or understand how dangerous it is. This is why The Big Bad Wolf is a hero.

Imagine you were walking around minding your own business when the whole world convicted you of a crime you know you didn't do. That's what
the Big bad wolf had to go through. This is one of the ways point of view can affect the people around you or in this case the reader. The story "The

The point of view in "The Three Little Pigs" is third person omniscient. This helps develop the reader's understanding of the big bad wolf by showing
the wolf as mean, tricky and guilty by the pigs and the wolf's feelings. For example, the point of view shapes the reader's understanding of the wolf
when the narrator describes shows that the wolf want's to kill the pig just like all the other pigs. It says, "The wolf was furious, but he thought he
would try another trick," (paragraph 21). This helps the reader's understanding of the wolf because it shows that the wolf was mad and he wanted to
trick the pig so he can get him. This supports my answer because he was guilty of all the other pigs and now he is trying to trick this other pig so he
can eat him. The point of view helps show that the wolf was guilt because the author

The Big Bad Wolf Research Paper
The Big Bad Wolf is a character we all know. He appears in many fairy tales as a symbol for evil. He proves his title in many different stories, such
as The Wolf and the Lamb, The Seven Little Goats, and Little Red Riding Hood, where he attacks other characters to satisfy his constant hunger issue.
If the author intended for the wolf to be portrayed as a monster, why should we believe the wolf is anything but a villain? Firstly, in the fable The Wolf
and the Lamb, we witness the Big Bad Wolfattempting to rationalize eating the lamb, even though the lamb did nothing wrong. The wolf decides to
fabricate lies so he can get closer to the lamb, all while the lamb tries to convince him that everything the wolf was saying was incorrect. The author
states the moral of the story in the end by having the lamb say: "Any excuse will serve a tyrant". We see the wolf following this line throughout many
of his stories as if it were in a rulebook that he had to follow. He always attacks the innocent ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Here, we see the Big Bad Wolf terrorizing a mother goat and her kids by trying to break into their house and eat the young animals while their

and to further make the goats fall for his trap, he attempts to get the miller to put flour over his coat to turn it white like the fur belonging to the
mother goat. When the miller refuses in order to protect the goats, the wolf threatens that he will eat the miller if he doesn't obey. The miller follows
the wolf's order and the goats let him in this time. He eats all but one of them before the mother gets home, leaving her to come back to six less kids
than she left with. In this story, the wolf proves that he is a liar and he can threaten people to get what he wants, none of which are qualities that a hero

The Three Little Pigs Analysis
How would it feel to get accused of something that you didn't do? The story "The Three Little Pigs" is from the point of view of third person objective,
While the story "The True Story of the the Three Little Pigs" is from the point of view of first person. Both stories "The Three Little Pigs" and " The
True Story of the Three Little Pigs", has a different point of view that helps shape the reader's understanding of the wolf in different and similar ways.
The story "The Three Little Pigs" is from the point of view of third person and this shapes the reader's understanding of the wolf because we are
not getting characters opinions but we are getting something close to facts. For example, the point of view shapes the reader's understanding of the
wolf when the author shows how the wolf blew down the house and ate the little pigs. It says, " And he huffed and he puffed, and he HUFFED and
he PUFFED until the house of straw fell in, and the wolf ate the little pig for his supper that evening.," (paragraph 7) This helps the reader's
understanding because it shows that the Wolf blew down the house but really all he did was sneeze but the narrator tells the story in a different way to
make the reader have a different perspective on the story. Another example of how Third person omniscient shapes the reader's understanding of the
wolf when it showed his thoughts of eating the little pig for dinner. "It says, " Abig bad wolf lived nearby. He came along and saw the new

Three Little Pigs
In the story, "The Story of the Three Little Pigs", it begs the question, who was the real villain: the third pig, or the big bad wolf? The pigs were
being eaten by the but one of them, the third pig, had a different plan. The third pig was the best out of the three, some could say he was the most
admirable of them all. The wolf was the big bad enemy in the beginning of the story because he was eating the little bigs and destroys their homes. But
towards the end the third pig outsmarts the wolf and does the unthinkable. The third pig was the most admirable because he was intelligent, sly, and
cruel.
First off, all of the pigs wanted to make a house, but some of them did not choose the most sturdy of the house building materials. The third pig is
intelligent, in fact, he is the most intelligent of the three pigs because he made a house of bricks, the most sturdy house building materials. The third
pig made the right choice and thought about the plan before he did anything, he thought about the other pigs and corrected what they did to make his
house better. In the text, it states, "Please, Man, give me those bricks to make a house with". This quote shows that the pig has some knowledge about
building houses that will actually stand if a gust of wind goes by. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

me? Are they nice apples?''Yes, very,' said the little Pig; 'I will throw you down one.' And he threw it so far that, while the Wolf was gone to pick it up,

Wolves have been depicted as voracious killers, for as long as I can remember, and we humans are the prey they seek, victims of their sharp teeth
and thirst for blood. The media does an extraordinary job in representing the wolf as a killer, deceiver and danger. Wolves however, were a symbol
of life in the olden days, around 300 BC. It wasn't until humans began to own farm lands that this battle, and stigma developed. Wolves no longer
became a symbol they idolized , but a symbol of terror and gruesome death. As our societies developed, the media became part of our everyday life,
resulting in a new image. An image where the wolf, as a species, drastically changed. My visual argument demonstrates three categories: Big Bad Wolf,
Ranchers Eye, and Wolf as Lamb. I hope to demonstrate the negative impacts that the media has created for the wolf, as a result, helps reinforces the
fears and beliefs we have as a society have of wolves, negative associations that depict the wolf as evil, dangerous, and a threat to our lives. Big Bad
Wolf is the first category within my visual argument which emphasizes the role that the media plays in representing wolves as rogue, vicious, voracious
killers,

Three Little Pigs
Do you remember the story of the three little pigs? This story tells the tale of three pigs and how they have to leave their mother and go off into the
world. The third little pig always presented the wolf with different tricks. This version of the "Three Little Pigs" describes the steps the clever third pig
takes to outplay his rival, the wolf. He is intelligent, he is always one step ahead, and he has very impulsive solutions to problems. The third little pig
is the most admirable out of the three.
First, the third pig's' intelligence is displayed throughout the story and makes him commendable. For the duration of the story, the third pig completes
various actions that prove his cleverness. As stated in the text, the pig asks "'Please man, give me those bricks to build a house with'" (10). Knowing
that brick would not be easily destroyed, the pig asked the man for bricks. This is a smart move because the action he makes here will protect him
from the big bad wolf. His intelligence is evident here because the first and second pigs made houses out ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although the wolf tried multiple times to lure the pig into coming outside of the house to be eaten up, the pig understood the wolf's motives and
did exactly the opposite of what was asked. He was able to deceive the wolf in a way that he would greatly benefit from. According to the story, the
two animals agreed to meet at 6 to go get turnips but "the little pig got up at five and got the turnips and was home again before six" (12). This
quote shows his intellect by giving an example of him always being one step ahead. Later in the story, the wolf asks the pig to go apple picking and
the pig comes home before the wolf arrives. However, this cunning habit the pig develops after realizing what the sly wolf is trying to do does not
always help him. The wolf lastly lures the pig to the fair and shows up when the pig is there. In this situation the pig has been

The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs by A. Wolf Essay
The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs by A. Wolf
Have you ever wondered what the wolf's side of The Three Little Pigs story was? Well, Jon Scieszka gives his readers the opportunity to see a
different perspective dealing with this very circumstance. In many of his books, including The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs by A. Wolf,Scieszka has
used this style of writing that varies from the norm. Every turn of the page gives rise to new wonder and suspense as to what the reader will
encounter as he or she moves through the pages of this intriguing book. Many of us grew up hearing fairy tales and nursery rhymes and most of us
accepted them the way that they were. However, Jon Scieszka likes to take his readers on "adventures" through the ... Show more content on

How would that change the story? According to Al Wolf, all he ever really wanted from the pigs was a cup of sugar so that he could make his
grandma a birthday cake. His intentions were not to eat the pigs, but they died when their houses fell down, and what a waste of a "perfectly good
ham dinner." So, he ate them anyway. Was the wolf really so bad after all, or were the workers of the local newspaper so short on articles, that they
needed something juicy to fill the gaps? According to Al Wolf, the reporters "figured a sick guy going to borrow a cup of sugar didn't sound very
exciting. So they jazzed up the story," and by doing so, they created a monster out of the wolf. These examples show the twist on writing that
Scieszka uses to give his readers a new way of looking at a well–known story.
Scieszka's style of writing spices up the world of books and keeps readers on their toes. It is not the typical fairy tale that we so often come into
contact with, or the stories that always have a happy ending. Scieszka's stories make readers wonder just what he is going to throw at them next.
Readers might wonder what the wolf will do with the first two pigs now that they are dead. Due to the circumstances that this story holds in comparison
with the version that most readers have heard, Scieszka's audience might begin to ask, "What will happen when the

at portraying the fairytale theme in Big Bad Wolf, or does it fall short of the mark? Keep reading our review to discover the answer to that question!
Retelling a Fairytale
This real money online slots game is obviously based around the Three Little Pigs story, specifically around the big bad wolf that hunted them down.
The graphics are very nice; they really grab a player's attention and give the game a certain upbeat look. On top of that, the colours pop and the
contours are obviously very well drawn, because they stand out quite nicely. The music that backs up the gameplay is also very interesting. Not what
we would expect from a fairytale themed game per se, but it doesn't ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

As children, we grew up with the version that the wolf was the villain of the story of Red Riding Hood, so it is hard to deviate from that mindset.
Furthermore, most people will immediately agree that the wolf clearly is the "bad" character. There are many stories that target the young
demographic with wolves included in them. The "Big Bad Wolf" is a recurrent theme in many stories. Therefore, it is simple that we are inclined to
continuously believe the wolf will always be the villain. The argument of the wolf being a villain or a hero can go either way–both sides have proper
evidence. After all, it's entirely perspective. I firmly believe that the version of the wolf's perspective, where he was viewed positively, is a false
account. It is difficult to make a proper conclusion on whether the wolf is a villain or hero, especially because both stories have personified the wolves.

They are predisposed to be bloodthirsty, cruel hunters because it is in their nature undeniably. In the version that recounted the wolf's version, he
was often referred to as a "good wolf." Moreover, the wolf was also said to be "always helpful to others, always kind." Simply put, there is no
evidence to verify that this wolf was a good one. Towards the very end of the wolf's version, it was said that "Wolves tend to remember events in
ways flattering to themselves." However, directly afterward, the author also wrote, "But surely we can forgive them for this. After all, it's only
human." which suggests one version of the story was a false account, while the other was the accurate version. In my opinion, even if the wolf was a
good one, the wolf's story was twisted far more than the original. No good wolf would eat a child's dead grandmother and then pretend to be said

Who Do You Believe The Pigs Or The Wolf
Who do you believe, the pigs or the wolf?
I believe that the wolf is a big fat liar. First of all he was in so many fairy tale stories that it is kind of ridiculous. To save time I'm only going to tell you
three of them: Little Red Riding Hood, Sheep in disguise, and last but not least The Three Little Pigs. So yes i do believe the pigs! Now I am going to
show you why.First of all, they were just minding their own business. If you have seen or heard of the story The Three Little Pigs, you will know
what I mean. The pigs were kicked out of their home by their own mother when they were about two years old! Well I know who is getting the mother

The Three Little Pigs And The True Story Of The Three...
A point of view is a position in which the story is being told, but did you know that there is two point of views in The Three Little Pigs and The
True Story of the Three Little pigs? The two stories have views changed by how the author tells them. In the story of the pigs it's in third person, but
in the wolf's view he just wants sugar and see's them as a snack so it's first person. The story of "The Three Little Pigs" and "The True story of the
Three Little pigs" have different point of views that help the readers understanding of the wolf.
The story "The Three Little pigs" point of view affects the reader's understanding of the wolf by having the view of the wolf really bad. This gives us
the idea of a bad wolf. For example, the point of view shapes the reader's understanding of the wolf when the wolf blows down the houses. It says, "
So the wolf shouted very crossly, "Then I'll huff and I'll puff, Till I blow your house in!" " (6). This helps the reader's understanding because the
narrator is showing that the wolf blows houses down on purpose. Then it gives off a bad wolf because wolves are vicious. It says, Abig bad wolf lived
nearby. He came along and saw the new house and, feeling rather hungry and thinking he would like to eat a little pig for supper, he called out,
"Little pig, little pig, let me come in." (4) This also shows that the narrator is showing the wolf's bad side which makes the reader think that he is evil
and that he is the true villain. To

Ruby: The Legend Of Big Bad Wolf
Ruby Once upon a time there was a small town called BBW which stands for Big Beautiful World, but some said it stood for Big Bad Wolf. In this
town there was a girl feared by all children, Ruby was her name and Ruby was the name of the wolf. Now Ruby, who when was young cried alone,
fearing she was the wolf crying to her mother to lock her up, though her mother refused. As she got older she lived up to this potential. She wore a
dog collar with her name scratched into it by rock (though she claims that she scratched it with her teeth), ripped up jeans, and a dark red shirt. This
made the children scream, they all would run, but she just laughed. Her mother became worried and told her the story of the wolf and what it did,
Ruby just laughed and said "I would never eat a girl, her grandmother and I do this for my entertainment!" she was taking a walk through the woods
the next day and saw a small girl as she started getting hungry, and ask the girl where she was going the girl replied "To my grandmother's house she...

Personal Narrative: The Big Bad Wolf
Whenever we talk about fairy tales, we speak of the Fairy Godmothers, the magic beans, and the talking cats. Rarely do we ever write papers about
how one day we want to be the Big Bad Wolf, or the Wicked Witch of the West. There will never be a time in someone's childhood when they prefer
to be a villain rather than a hero, and that has much to do with our choices as we get older. We tend to throw aside anything we feel isn't the best.
As Dick Gregory once had written, "I never learned hate at home, or shame. I had to go to school for that." At young ages, we were exposed to
different people by attending our first elementary schools. When I entered the third grade, I remember at such a young age, I allowed my heart to have
first been deceived

A Short Story : A Fairy Story
It was a dark, stormy, night. Josie and her Dad, Tod were working on the Halloween decorations outside, they were wonderful. With dark, spooky
goblins and statues that moved when you walked past them, they also had cobwebs, which hanged with spiders and flashing lights. One other
thing they had was fog that flew up into the air and filled around the house, giving it a spooky glow. Tod had gone inside to get a drink, when Josie
heard a very low growl. She wanted to go check it out, but thought it would be better to stay where she was, since there are a lot of weird people
roaming the streets on Halloween night. She was just about done, when she heard another growl, and a big SNAP! Jason ran up behind her, and
tackled her to the ground. Josie started to scream, but Tod came out and had asked what Jason was doing.
"Come on Tod, I was just scaring your daughter." Said Jason, joking around.
Tod gave Jason "the look" and Jason scooped Josie up and brought her inside. Later that night, when Josie was dressed up as Red Riding Hood, and
Jason was the Big Bad Wolf, they went trick or treating. Josie's friend, Wendy had to cancel on them, because she had to go trick or treating with her
little sister. Josie knew all the houses that gave out good candy, so they hit all the jack pots. It was getting late out, and there was one more house

Moral Lessons for Children Depicted in Three Versions of...
Fairy tales read to young children not only served as a form of entertainment for the child, but they also taught children the difference between what
is good and what is bad. The Three Little Pigs is a prime example of the morals and lessons that children were taught while reading a fairy tale. The
fact that the tale is equipped with adventure and the ability for animals to talk causes children to immerse in the text while acknowledging the
consequences of laziness of the first two little pigs and the result of evil for the sneakiness of the big bad wolf. The tale does however teach children the
benefits of hard–work when at the end the third pig lives happily ever after in his sturdy house made of bricks. Comparing three different ... Show more

The tales today have much more pleasant ending and children most likely will not be as frightened but instead learn the moral lessons that the tale is
trying to portray through its vivid illustrations and excessive amount of repetition. The first version of the Three Little Pigs that I analyzed was by Paul
Gadon and it closely mimicked the original version of the tale. When reading the tale I was baffled by some of the events that took place. Growing
up my mother made sure that I did not read any material that she felt would give me nightmares or would give me a negative way of thinking.
Because I was forced to read the revised version I never knew the truth behind the tale until just recently. In Gadon's version the first two little pigs
surprisingly get eaten by the big bad wolf. Witnessing the two pigs get eaten by the wolf was very tragic and without a doubt left me in shock. This
version of the tale shows children that the consequences of "lazy work" results in terrible consequences. Were the houses falling down not enough?
Why did they have to get eaten? Does this brutal act change the thinking of Children? Because it is scientifically proven that children often repeat what
they here or act out what they see I must agree with Mrs. Trimmer that the original version of many fairy tales may have a negative effect on children.
At a young age most children do not understand the difference between

Big Bad Wolf Persuasive Essay
Eating is a necessary commodity. Every living being has to eat in order to stay alive. In fact, you can only survive about 3 weeks without eating.
Many animals don't receive backlash for the food they eat because, even us, human beings understand that it's necessary to obtain proteins.
However, the Big, Bad Wolf will always be unfairly criticized for eating pigs. Even though society views the wolf as malicious, that is very far
from the truth as proven in sources B, C, and H because the wolf deserves to eat food as much as the pigs do. You're obliged to feed yourself as
much as any person or animal is. Food is such an essential item you could say that everyone deserves to eat. However, many tried to verbally attack
the wolf in his decision of eating the pigs. Nevertheless, you're right, nobody should take accountability because "wolves [decide to] eat cute
animals" (Source B). I'm sure, "If cheeseburgers were cute, folks would probably think you were Big and Bad" (Source B). When interpreted, the
comparison seems frugal, but in the larger picture it makes sense. Primarily because wolves, like... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

their life figuring out the differences between the rights and wrong themselves. They have to somehow enter their life as a child but leave as an

"The Three Little Pigs" is a classic fairytale about three pigs who build each their own house, and the wolf who tries to devour the pigs by blowing
down their house. "The Three Little Pigs" has it origins from James Orchard Halliwell in Popular Rhymes and Nursery Tales (1849) in England.
Halliwell's rendition was the first known print version in the world. Joseph Jacobs' wrote the world's most popular rendition in his English Fairy Tales
(1898). In the 1880, Joel Chandler Harris made "The Three Little Pigs" popular in the United States in Tales of Uncle Remus (1880). Walt Disney had

  • 1. The Three Little Pigs Research Paper The Big bad wolf and the three Little Pigs Parody Once upon a time the the two little pigs and the Big bad wolf were friends, the pig with the stick house and the pig with the brick house. Until one day Pigers played the Wolfies in football for the championship title on TV. And of course the pigs favoirte team was the Pigers, and the wolf favorite team was the Wolfies. So the Wolf breaks in and takes the money himself and the pigs tries to stop him but the pigs is not strong enough for the wolf. Now he goes over to the other pigs house and the same thing happens again so the Wolf take his money and leaves. Later that night the police show up at his house and arrest him. But you are probably wondering how the police found out, Now this is my favorite part. The so called not smart 3rd pig had cameras facing the other house on his house. So the 3rd pig showed his evidence to the police. Oh one other thing when the Pig said that he wasn't brothers with them because he was step brothers with the other Pigs. The ... • 2. Comparing The Wolf And The Three Little Pigs It is important to know the history of "The Three Little Pigs." As Sutcliffe explains, the story started out as a nursery tale, almost identically to the way it is told today. Around the beginning of the 1900, Grimm printed the story The Wolf and the Seven Little Little Kids. This story is not the exact same as "The Three Little Pigs", however, it has many parallels. The fact that the story was taken away from the german author, explains why it focuses on family and nature. The personification of the pigs would come from Grimm's aspect of adding nature. The family of the three pigs (although two die) shows the differences that can occur within a family and how one way is can be better. THE TRUE STORY OF THE THREE LITTLE PIGS by A. Wolf published ... • 5. Little Red And The Case Of The Missing Grandma Essay Little Red and the Case of the Missing Grandma Once upon a not so long ago time, there was a CSI agent named Little Red Riding Hood, and her partner, The Woodsman. Throughout their careers, they had investigated some pretty odd cases. But none were as personal, or as different than The Case of the Missing Grandma. Red and the Woodsman had just gotten a call to action. There had been a reported breaking and entering, and the resident was nowhere to be found. They arrived at the scene of the crime, and nothing seemed to be out of place except for the door, which appeared to have been kicked down. They swabbed the door to look for prints, and found what seemed to be paw prints. They then continued to search the cottage with a black light. There was no blood anywhere, but they did find some saliva, which lead them to believe the grandma was still alive, but wouldn't be for long. The search went on, and under the covers of the bed they found a decent amount of fur. They sent all of the samples back to the forensics lab and waited for the results to come back.... It was only when they were reported missing that anyone took the case seriously. The culprit was never truly identified, but we knew it was a wolf. Only a wolf could commit such a monstrosity of a crime. Red and the Woodsman looked this case over about 24 times for any hint on how they might be able to find this monster, but it only told them what they already knew; the culprit was without a doubt The Wolf. • 6. The Pigs Or The Wolf Analysis Who do you believe? Pigs or the wolf? By: kyren vasquez In the story the three little pigs a big bad wolf comes and blows several pigs houses down. But that all changed when the wolfs side of the story came and you might think differently. First , the pigs state the wolf said ВЁI'll huff and puff and blow your house down!ВЁ. But that might not be entirely true. The wolf states that he simply had a cold and he claims to say ВЁand i huffed and i snuffed and i sneezed the house down.ВЁ. This could be entirely true , but that's not the only part that shows the wolf is not guilty. Next , The wolf claims he was getting a cup of sugar for his grandmother's birthday cake since he did not have any sugar for his poor old granny. He was not a big bad wolf who was simply blowing the pigs house down for the enjoyment of himself. Of course the clumsy wolf sneezed on the pigs house causing it the fall down. More proof to the accusations are that the wolfs dieting consists of elk, deer, moose and caribou, as well as beaver, rabbits and other small prey. You cannot blame the wolf for eating thepig as well as blaming him for accidently ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 7. Who Are The Three Pigs In Lord Of The Flies Order! Order on the Island! The folktale of The Three Little Pigs tells a tale of three pigs who chose their material in creating their house based on their knowledge and understanding of each material and what outcome they will receive by using it. Two out of the three pigs soon discover their consequences of selecting poor materials as the building blocks of their house, as it is easily blown away by their predator, the big bad wolf. In William Golding's, Lord of the Flies, three main characters must make similar decisions to the pigs in The Three Little Pigs. Each individual leader must make decisions that will not only significantly affect themselves, but the other stranded boys as they try all strive to survive on the island. Just like the three little pigs, the decisions made by Jack, Ralph and Piggy greatly changes their future. Piggy views the conch as a "white, magical shell"(200) which represents the "heart of civilization"(198). Tragically, the conch falls and smashes "into a thousand white fragments"(200) as Piggy fell forty feet, destroying the symbol of order and civilization. • 9. Stereotypes In Red Riding Hood Reading fairy tales or seeing them represented has become part of an everyday routine for children. As Baker–Sperry states, "Through interaction that occurs within everyday routines (Corsaro 1997), children are able to learn the rules of the social group in which they are a part" (Baker–Sperry 717–718). For example, through Red Riding Hood, children learn to listen to their parents and to be wary of strangers. Some of these messages are harmful though; not all girls have to be naive and weak while boys are predacious wolves. Not everyone has to play the role that society assigns them. A good example of this is Cory Edwards' 2005 retelling of Red Riding Hood, Hoodwinked. In this movie, Red (Anne Hathaway), the Big Bad Wolf (Patrick Warburton), and Granny (Glenn Close) all get into a misunderstanding based on stereotypes of their roles. After it is resolved, they team up to stop a criminal enterprise. Each character defies society's expectations in someway. In the Grimm story, Little Red–Cap is naive and easily fooled. Red–Cap meets a wolf in the woods, "Red–Cap did not know what a wicked creature he was, and was not at all afraid of him" (Grimm). She is then tricked into believing that he is her grandmother and he devours her. She later has to be saved from death by the huntsman that happens to walk by (Grimm). She shows little agency and does not know enough to protect herself. This varies greatly from Red in Hoodwinked. Towards the beginning of the movie, there is a scene ... Comparing The Three Little Pigs And The Big Bad Wolf Now let's just set this straight, there are many different stories about the three little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf or at least that was first story told about that. I don't know who would made up this story about the Three little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf but it was wrong. The real story did include 3 pigs and a Wolf but how it was told was an obscene lie about what had really happened. I am the third little pig and I am going to tell you what had really happened. On one sunny afternoon me and my other two brothers Mike and Pike were heading out into the deep woods, to find some fresh fruits for breakfast. We lived in a small little house in the woods by a big mucky swamp and some dead grass. There is never sun by where we live it's always cloudy and bleak. We live with our friend Jack he a wolf. I know, I know what you're all thinking when you read that he's a wolf, ahh run for your life, no it's not like that. His name is Jack, and he has been our good friend for some time. We can all remember a time we have read the "Three Little Pigs". The bad wolf blowing the house of pigs down. Many authors have remade the "The Three Little Pigs" and changed the plot and the morals accordingly to what's revolving around the world. Pigs are being attacked by a wolf makes sense. The pig as the prey and the wolf as the predator. More recent remakes of the story have really changed what goes on in the stories. • 14. Old Fairy Tales Analysis The fairy tales of old often have a sparse and often vague approach when it comes to characterization. This problem was more than likely brought about due to how these tales were told to children and how these stories more than likely changed over time, via word of mouth. Yet, as we have progressed and have begun a movement to novelize nearly everything in our society, we have come across the predicament of how these classic caricatures must be brought into modern society. One of the biggest companies capitalizing on these classic tales is Disney. Known, and criticized, for taking old fairy tales and adding more to the story in order to help sell their products to children and even adults. I say criticized, for while they help bring these old tales back into the minds of children, they don't add much in the way of characterization, so they sadly don't take their characters to the next level. Leave it to Fables: Legends in Exile to change that. Fables: Legends in Exile and even its video game prequel The Wolf Among Us add more to the characters that honestly beats Disney at its' own game. All the old fairy tales have connections with each other, and helps to establish their personalities and their pasts. With the context that comes with the comic, in that the Fables are in New York, due to them forced to leave their homeland and coming up with the rules of their community, Fabletown. • 16. The Three Little Pigs Character Analysis Imagine you were walking around minding your own business when the whole world convicted you of a crime you know you didn't do. That's what the Big bad wolf had to go through. This is one of the ways point of view can affect the people around you or in this case the reader. The story "The Three Little Pigs" is presented in third person omniscient. While the story "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs" is in first person. The stories "The Three Little Pigs" and "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs" have different point of views. That helps build the reader's understanding of the different point of views in different and similar ways The point of view in "The Three Little Pigs" is third person omniscient. This helps develop the reader's understanding of the big bad wolf by showing the wolf as mean, tricky and guilty by the pigs and the wolf's feelings. For example, the point of view shapes the reader's understanding of the wolf when the narrator describes shows that the wolf want's to kill the pig just like all the other pigs. It says, "The wolf was furious, but he thought he would try another trick," (paragraph 21). This helps the reader's understanding of the wolf because it shows that the wolf was mad and he wanted to trick the pig so he can get him. This supports my answer because he was guilty of all the other pigs and now he is trying to trick this other pig so he can eat him. • 18. The Big Bad Wolf Research Paper The Big Bad Wolf is a character we all know. He appears in many fairy tales as a symbol for evil. He proves his title in many different stories, such as The Wolf and the Lamb, The Seven Little Goats, and Little Red Riding Hood, where he attacks other characters to satisfy his constant hunger issue. If the author intended for the wolf to be portrayed as a monster, why should we believe the wolf is anything but a villain? Firstly, in the fable The Wolf and the Lamb, we witness the Big Bad Wolfattempting to rationalize eating the lamb, even though the lamb did nothing wrong. The wolf decides to fabricate lies so he can get closer to the lamb, all while the lamb tries to convince him that everything the wolf was saying was incorrect. The author states the moral of the story in the end by having the lamb say: "Any excuse will serve a tyrant". We see the wolf following this line throughout many of his stories as if it were in a rulebook that he had to follow. He always attacks the innocent ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He doesn't give up, however, and to further make the goats fall for his trap, he attempts to get the miller to put flour over his coat to turn it white like the fur belonging to the mother goat. When the miller refuses in order to protect the goats, the wolf threatens that he will eat the miller if he doesn't obey. The miller follows the wolf's order and the goats let him in this time. The story "The Three Little Pigs" is from the point of view of third person objective, While the story "The True Story of the the Three Little Pigs" is from the point of view of first person. Both stories "The Three Little Pigs" and " The True Story of the Three Little Pigs", has a different point of view that helps shape the reader's understanding of the wolf in different and similar ways. The story "The Three Little Pigs" is from the point of view of third person and this shapes the reader's understanding of the wolf because we are not getting characters opinions but we are getting something close to facts. For example, the point of view shapes the reader's understanding of the wolf when the author shows how the wolf blew down the house and ate the little pigs. It says, " And he huffed and he puffed, and he HUFFED and he PUFFED until the house of straw fell in, and the wolf ate the little pig for his supper that evening.," (paragraph 7) This helps the reader's understanding because it shows that the Wolf blew down the house but really all he did was sneeze but the narrator tells the story in a different way to make the reader have a different perspective on the story. The pigs were being eaten by the but one of them, the third pig, had a different plan. The third pig was the best out of the three, some could say he was the most admirable of them all. The wolf was the big bad enemy in the beginning of the story because he was eating the little bigs and destroys their homes. But towards the end the third pig outsmarts the wolf and does the unthinkable. The third pig was the most admirable because he was intelligent, sly, and cruel. First off, all of the pigs wanted to make a house, but some of them did not choose the most sturdy of the house building materials. The third pig is intelligent, in fact, he is the most intelligent of the three pigs because he made a house of bricks, the most sturdy house building materials. The third pig made the right choice and thought about the plan before he did anything, he thought about the other pigs and corrected what they did to make his house better. • 22. Wolves vs Humans Wolves and humans have an ongoing battle between one another. Hunter vs the hunted, humans are always the hunted and the wolf the hunter, but in an amazing turn of events humans take matters into their own hands and become the hunters, demolishing the danger that hunts them, the wolf. Wolves have been depicted as voracious killers, for as long as I can remember, and we humans are the prey they seek, victims of their sharp teeth and thirst for blood. The media does an extraordinary job in representing the wolf as a killer, deceiver and danger. Wolves however, were a symbol of life in the olden days, around 300 BC. It wasn't until humans began to own farm lands that this battle, and stigma developed. Wolves no longer became a symbol they idolized , but a symbol of terror and gruesome death. As our societies developed, the media became part of our everyday life, resulting in a new image. An image where the wolf, as a species, drastically changed. My visual argument demonstrates three categories: Big Bad Wolf, Ranchers Eye, and Wolf as Lamb. I hope to demonstrate the negative impacts that the media has created for the wolf, as a result, helps reinforces the fears and beliefs we have as a society have of wolves, negative associations that depict the wolf as evil, dangerous, and a threat to our lives. Big Bad Wolf is the first category within my visual argument which emphasizes the role that the media plays in representing wolves as rogue, vicious, voracious killers, ... He is intelligent, he is always one step ahead, and he has very impulsive solutions to problems. The third little pig is the most admirable out of the three. First, the third pig's' intelligence is displayed throughout the story and makes him commendable. For the duration of the story, the third pig completes various actions that prove his cleverness. As stated in the text, the pig asks "'Please man, give me those bricks to build a house with'" (10). Knowing that brick would not be easily destroyed, the pig asked the man for bricks. His intentions were not to eat the pigs, but they died when their houses fell down, and what a waste of a "perfectly good ham dinner." So, he ate them anyway. Was the wolf really so bad after all, or were the workers of the local newspaper so short on articles, that they needed something juicy to fill the gaps? According to Al Wolf, the reporters "figured a sick guy going to borrow a cup of sugar didn't sound very exciting. So they jazzed up the story," and by doing so, they created a monster out of the wolf. Furthermore, most people will immediately agree that the wolf clearly is the "bad" character. There are many stories that target the young demographic with wolves included in them. The "Big Bad Wolf" is a recurrent theme in many stories. Therefore, it is simple that we are inclined to continuously believe the wolf will always be the villain. The argument of the wolf being a villain or a hero can go either way–both sides have proper evidence. After all, it's entirely perspective. A point of view is a position in which the story is being told, but did you know that there is two point of views in The Three Little Pigs and The True Story of the Three Little pigs? The two stories have views changed by how the author tells them. In the story of the pigs it's in third person, but in the wolf's view he just wants sugar and see's them as a snack so it's first person. The story of "The Three Little Pigs" and "The True story of the Three Little pigs" have different point of views that help the readers understanding of the wolf. The story "The Three Little pigs" point of view affects the reader's understanding of the wolf by having the view of the wolf really bad. This gives us the idea of a bad wolf. For example, the point of view shapes the reader's understanding of the wolf when the wolf blows down the houses. It says, " So the wolf shouted very crossly, "Then I'll huff and I'll puff, Till I blow your house in!" " (6). This helps the reader's understanding because the narrator is showing that the wolf blows houses down on purpose. Then it gives off a bad wolf because wolves are vicious. It says, Abig bad wolf lived nearby. He came along and saw the new house and, feeling rather hungry and thinking he would like to eat a little pig for supper, he called out, "Little pig, little pig, let me come in." Fairy tales read to young children not only served as a form of entertainment for the child, but they also taught children the difference between what is good and what is bad. The Three Little Pigs is a prime example of the morals and lessons that children were taught while reading a fairy tale. The fact that the tale is equipped with adventure and the ability for animals to talk causes children to immerse in the text while acknowledging the consequences of laziness of the first two little pigs and the result of evil for the sneakiness of the big bad wolf. When reading the tale I was baffled by some of the events that took place. Growing up my mother made sure that I did not read any material that she felt would give me nightmares or would give me a negative way of thinking. Because I was forced to read the revised version I never knew the truth behind the tale until just recently. In Gadon's version the first two little pigs surprisingly get eaten by the big bad wolf. Witnessing the two pigs get eaten by the wolf was very tragic and without a doubt left me in shock. This version of the tale shows children that the consequences of "lazy work" results in terrible consequences. Were the houses falling down not enough? Why did they have to get eaten? Does this brutal act change the thinking of Children? Many animals don't receive backlash for the food they eat because, even us, human beings understand that it's necessary to obtain proteins. However, the Big, Bad Wolf will always be unfairly criticized for eating pigs. Even though society views the wolf as malicious, that is very far from the truth as proven in sources B, C, and H because the wolf deserves to eat food as much as the pigs do.
