It then examines how Satan controls and influences the world through sinful cultural systems and structures to achieve his purposes of defiling and enslaving people.
This document discusses a church in Ephesus that had lost its first love for God. While the church was active, hardworking, patient, and doctrinally sound, rejecting false teachers, it had left behind its initial love and enthusiasm for Christianity. It encourages memorizing Scripture for every situation and praying God's promises back to Him with command, authority and belief.
David had a lifestyle of thanksgiving and praised God seven times a day. Because of this, God promised to defeat David's enemies and plague those who hated him. When people have a spirit of thanksgiving, it releases God's power to perform miracles in their lives. Thankfulness also brings encouragement, builds faith in others, qualifies one for more favors from God, leads to restoration, multiplication, healing, deliverance, blessings, God's glory, and can begin a new era.

1. King Solomon had great wealth from trade with other kingdoms, including receiving 25 tons of gold annually. He used the gold to make extravagant furnishings for the temple and his palace, including a throne with ivory and gold overlays.
2. Solomon exceeded all other kings in riches and wisdom, which came from God. People brought him tribute to hear his wisdom. He had a large army with chariots and horses stationed throughout his kingdom.
3. Though Solomon gained many possessions and pleasures, he found it all meaningless and troubling without God. Seeking God and obeying His laws leads to true contentment, rather than the empty pursuits of wealth and pleasures.
The document summarizes a sermon about the Queen of Sheba's visit to King Solomon, drawing parallels between her long journey to learn from his wisdom and the importance of regularly attending church services to learn from God. The sermon encourages the congregation to examine if they have an abundant life through a clear conscience, commitment to God, and confidence in their salvation.
The document discusses Psalm 62, which talks about trusting in God alone for victory and salvation when facing enemies. It emphasizes waiting quietly for God and finding strength through patience. The main ideas are to interpret life from God's perspective, wait for His perfect timing, and trust that He will hear and save those who depend on Him.
This document discusses the benefits of fellowship with God. It argues that we must be part of God's family and in God's favor to experience fellowship. Fellowship with God improves our lives by filling the void in our souls. The document encourages walking with God as Enoch and Noah did, feeding on God's word, finding the right kind of fun in God rather than sin, and experiencing true fellowship through being one with Christ. It concludes by asking whether we are walking with God or Satan and invites the reader to join God's fellowship.
1) Elisha prophesied that food prices in Samaria would return to normal by the next day, despite a famine.
2) Four leprous men at the gate of Samaria decided to seek food from the camp of the Syrian army besieging the city, finding it abandoned with food and supplies left behind.

The Christ Centered Life (Part 8): StewardshipDavid Turner
The document discusses the biblical concept of stewardship. It explains that stewardship is about managing all the resources God has given us, including finances, time, talents, and relationships. True stewardship is investing these resources to build God's kingdom, not for earthly gain. The document warns against greed and coveting what others have. It encourages readers to discern how God wants them to invest their resources through testing and stretching themselves. True stewardship comes from a cheerful heart, not out of reluctance or obligation.

We serve a powerful God who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think. But we must be His children to receive these blessings. You must believe, repent , confess and be baptized to become his child.
It should be our desire to please God, but how do we please God? God wants you forgive your sins. God wants you to believe in Him and trust Him. God wants you to do his will. God wants you to follow Him. God wants you to forsake all for him. God wants you to be in heaven with Him.

1. Romans 10 discusses salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone, apart from works of the law. It teaches that salvation is available to all, both Jew and Gentile, who believe in their heart and confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord.
2. Specific requirements for salvation outlined are believing that God raised Jesus from the dead, and calling on the name of the Lord. The righteousness of faith is contrasted with trying to establish one's own righteousness through works of the law.
3. Examples are given of those who were saved by faith alone, such as the Ethiopian eunuch. All who believe will not be ashamed, as Christ bore our shame and is not ashamed to call believers his brothers

It then examines each piece of armor: the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the spirit or the word of God. The conclusion reiterates that standing firm allows withstanding evil through prayer and perseverance.

The Psalm expresses waiting for God and doing his will. The second reading from Ephesians thanks God for spiritual blessings received through Jesus Christ. It wishes the Ephesians wisdom and knowledge of God through Christ. The Gospel reading from Matthew has Jesus saying one must become like children to enter God's kingdom, and welcoming children in his name.
The document discusses what it means to be a good soldier of Jesus Christ based on 2 Timothy 2:1-4. It says Christians must endure hardship, remain committed to teaching the faith to others, and avoid being distracted by worldly affairs. Being a good soldier involves being part of Christ's church, wearing the uniform of faith, obeying Christ as the commander, using the weapons of prayer and God's word, facing the enemy through resisting the devil, and meeting the enemy head-on through withstanding temptation. The overall message is that God expects Christians to be prepared and committed soldiers fighting against spiritual forces of evil.
This document contains a summary of key apostolic prayers and prophetic promises from Scripture that Mike Bickle encourages praying over. It lists 18 prayers across various books of the Bible focused on themes like revelation of Jesus, receiving the Spirit's power, abounding in God's love, knowing God's will, unity in the church, being filled with spiritual gifts, bringing the church to maturity, being made worthy, increasing God's word, boldness in preaching, being endowed with power, God's zeal being released, pouring out God's Spirit, salvation for Israel, and the release of righteousness and miracles. It also lists several Old Testament prophecies to pray over Israel and the church.
Numbers 6:23-27 "Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: {24} "The LORD bless you and keep you; {25} The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; {26} The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.'" {27} "So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them." Known as the priestly blessing or the Aaronic Benediction. Is this the way we should bless our enemies as Jesus instructed in Matthew 5:43-45

The document discusses how believers should respond to Jesus' promised return. It addresses three common questions about His timing and summarizes that we are not told the exact date, but should: 1) joyfully anticipate His coming and not lose heart in current troubles, 2) eagerly wait while continuing our work of witnessing and encouraging one another, and 3) maintain our faith and testimony until He returns as we have been commanded.
The document discusses what it means to be a mature Christian and move from being a spiritual baby/child to an adult. It provides several Bible passages that encourage believers to continue growing in their faith and move beyond basic doctrines to a deeper understanding. Some key aspects of maturity discussed include: examining yourself to know where you are spiritually, understanding what God has done for and in believers, allowing God to accomplish greater things through believers, and believers' responsibility to bear fruit for God. The goal is to leave basic teachings and "go on to perfection."
This document summarizes a Bible study on the future fulfilment of true fellowship between believers. It discusses how believers will one day be united with God and each other in eternal fellowship. Several Bible passages are cited that describe believers being called the children of God, seeing him face to face in heaven, and the earth being filled with God's glory. Ultimately, true fellowship will be fulfilled when believers are presented as the spotless bride of Christ to dwell with him forever in the holy city New Jerusalem without any tears or suffering.
Hebrews 4:11-13 God's Word: Produces faith, cleanses us, brings reconciliation, tells us how to be saved, blesses us, answers life's questions, solves life's problems, helps us weather life's storms, tells us what is right and wrong, produces fruit in our lives, will judge us.

2 Corinthians 5:14-17. Are you ready to live for Jesus.
I. AM I SEEING TO IT THAT MY THOUGHTS ARE RIGHT?
II. AM I SEEING TO IT THAT MY ATTITUDES AND MOTIVES ARE RIGHT?
III. AM I SEEING TO IT THAT MY ACTIONS ARE RIGHT?
IV. AM I READY TO GIVE ACCOUNT TO GOD?
Genesis 47:13-15 Now there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very severe, so that the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan languished because of the famine. 14 And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, for the grain which they bought; and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house. 15 So when the money failed in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, "Give us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For the money has failed." There are a number of reasons that money fails.
I beseech you – beg, urge, encourage, appeal
By the mercies of God – compassion
Present your bodies a living sacrifice – as opposed to a sacrifice of death
Holy, Acceptable to God – pure, without spot or blemish
Your reasonable service – since Christ died for us we should live our lives for him. 2 Corinthians 5:15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

Philippians 1:9-11 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, 10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, 11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Fear is common to all. We all fear something. Some fear is God given. Children come into this world with a fear of heights and of loud noises. Some fears are there to protect us from physical harm: snakes, darkness, suffocation, being burned, death, etc. In christians, most fear is a tool of satan

we all need motivation at times. what motivates you? Paul said 5 things to the brethren at Rome to motivate them to continue their service no matter how great the suffering became. the good always outweighs the bad. the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. A375 Example Taste the taste of the Lord, the taste of the Lord The taste of...franktsao4
It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

Jude gives us hope at the end of a dark letter. In a dark world like today, we need the light of Christ to shine brighter and brighter. Jude shows us where to fix our focus so we can be filled with God's goodness and glory. Join us to explore this incredible passage.
2. (Psa 51:7-10) Purge me with
hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash
me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
{8} Make me hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken
may rejoice. {9} Hide Your face
from my sins, And blot out all my
iniquities. {10} Create in me a clean
heart, O God, And renew a
steadfast spirit within me.
4. STEDFAST
A. GOD IS STEADFAST - (Dan 6:26) I make a decree
that in every dominion of my kingdom men must
tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is
the living God, And steadfast forever; His kingdom is
the one which shall not be destroyed, And His dominion
shall endure to the end.
B. GOD’S WORD IS STEADFAST - (Heb 2:1-3)
Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the
things we have heard, lest we drift away. {2} For if the
word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and
every transgression and disobedience received a just
reward, {3} how shall we escape if we neglect so great
a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the
Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
C. WE NEED TO HAVE A STEADFAST SPIRIT - (Psa
51:10) Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew
a steadfast spirit within me.
5. I. STEADFAST IN FAITH.
A. IN SPITE OF SUFFERING - (1 Pet 5:9) Resist
him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the
same sufferings are experienced by your
brotherhood in the world.
B. CONSISTENT IN OUR WALK - (Col 2:5-7) For
though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you
in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the
steadfastness of your faith in Christ. {6} As you
have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so
walk in Him, {7} rooted and built up in Him and
established in the faith, as you have been taught,
abounding in it with thanksgiving.
6. STEADFAST IN FAITH.
C. STEADFAST IN HEART W/O DOUBT
1. (Psa 57:7) My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart
is steadfast; I will sing and give praise.
2. (Psa 78:37) For their heart was not steadfast with
Him, Nor were they faithful in His covenant.
3. (Psa 108:1) O God, my heart is steadfast; I will
sing and give praise, even with my glory.
4. (Psa 112:7) He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His
heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
5. (1 Cor 7:37) Nevertheless he who stands steadfast
in his heart, having no necessity, but has power
over his own will, and has so determined in his heart
that he will keep his virgin, does well.
6. (1 tim 2:8) I desire therefore that the men pray
everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath
and doubting;
7. II. STEADFAST IN HOPE &
CONFIDENCE.
A. HOPE FOR OTHER CHRISTIANS - (2
Cor 1:7) And our hope for you is
steadfast, because we know that as you
are partakers of the sufferings, so also
you will partake of the consolation
8. II. STEADFAST IN HOPE &
CONFIDENCE.
B. HOPE FOR OURSELVES IN HEAVEN - (Heb
6:17-20) Thus God, determining to show more
abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability
of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, {18} that
by two immutable things, in which it is impossible
for God to lie, we might have strong consolation,
who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope
set before us. {19} This hope we have as an
anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast,
and which enters the Presence behind the veil,
{20} where the forerunner has entered for us,
even Jesus, having become High Priest forever
according to the order of Melchizedek.
9. II. STEADFAST IN HOPE &
CONFIDENCE
C. HOPE THROUGH THE GOSPEL - (Col 1:23)
if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded
and steadfast, and are not moved away from
the hope of the gospel which you heard, which
was preached to every creature under heaven,
of which I, Paul, became a minister.
D. CONFIDENCE IN ENTERING GOD’S REST
(HEAVEN) - (Heb 3:14) For we have become
partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of
our confidence steadfast to the end,
10. III. STEADFAST IN WORSHIP
A. STEADFAST IN ASSEMBLING TOGETHER
1. (Acts 1:12-14) Then they returned to Jerusalem from
the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a
Sabbath day's journey. {13} And when they had
entered, they went up into the upper room where they
were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip
and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the
son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the
son of James. {14} These all continued with one
accord in prayer and supplication, with the women
and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
2. (Heb 10:24-25) And let us consider one another in
order to stir up love and good works, {25} not
forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as
is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and
so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
11. III. STEADFAST IN WORSHIP
B. STEAD FAST IS STUDY, FELLOWSHIP,
COMMUNION & PRAYERS - (Acts 2:42) And
they continued steadfastly in the apostles'
doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of
bread, and in prayers.
C. STEADFAST IN PRAYER - (Rom 12:12)
rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation,
continuing steadfastly in prayer;
12. IV. STEADFAST IN OBEDIENCE
A. IN KEEPING GOD’S COMMANDS - (1
Chr 28:7) 'Moreover I will establish his
kingdom forever, if he is steadfast to
observe My commandments and My
judgments, as it is this day.'
13. IV. STEADFAST IN OBEDIENCE
B. IN HOLY CONDUCT & GODLINESS - (2 Pet 3:9-18)
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some
count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing
that any should perish but that all should come to
repentance. {10} But the day of the Lord will come as a
thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with
a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat;
both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned
up. {11} Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved,
what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct
and godliness, {12} looking for and hastening the coming
of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be
dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with
fervent heat? {13} Nevertheless we, according to His
promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which
righteousness dwells. >>>
14. IV. STEADFAST IN OBEDIENCE
{14} Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things,
be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and
blameless; {15} and consider that the longsuffering of
our Lord is salvation; as also our beloved brother Paul,
according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,
{16} as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these
things, in which are some things hard to understand,
which untaught and unstable people twist to their own
destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
{17} You therefore, beloved, since you know this
beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own
steadfastness, being led away with the error of the
wicked; {18} but grow in the grace and knowledge of our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both
now and forever. Amen.
15. IV. STEADFAST IN OBEDIENCE
C. FROM THE HEART - (Rom 6:16-18) Do you
not know that to whom you present yourselves
slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom
you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of
obedience leading to righteousness? {17} But
God be thanked that though you were slaves of
sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form
of doctrine to which you were delivered.
{18} And having been set free from sin, you
became slaves of righteousness.
16. V. STEADFAST IN OUR WORK.
A. ALWAYS ABOUNDING IN THE WORK OF
THE LORD - (1 Cor 15:58) Therefore, my
beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord,
knowing that your labor is not in vain in the
Lord.
1. ABOUNDING IN BENEVOLENCE
2. ABOUNDING IN EDIFICATION
3. ABOUNDING IN EVANGELISM
17. V. STEADFAST IN OUR WORK.
B. NOT GROWING WEARY IN DOING
GOOD
1. (Gal 6:9) And let us not grow weary
while doing good, for in due season
we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
2. (2 Th 3:13) But as for you, brethren,
do not grow weary in doing good.
18. ARE YOU STEADFAST…
A. IN FAITH?
B. IN HOPE & CONFIDENCE?
C. IN WORSHIP?
D. IN OBEDIENCE?
E. IN WORK?
