This document discusses the three spiritual wars Christians face: against the flesh, the world, and the devil. It emphasizes that Christians must first win the war against the flesh through overcoming sinful desires and habits. They then need to win the war against the world by not loving or conforming to worldly systems and cultures. Only after gaining victory in these first two wars can Christians directly confront demonic powers. • 1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD
God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not
eat from any tree in the garden'?"
• 2 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the

• 3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the
middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "

8. What is meant by “THE WORLD”?
Did not John 3:16 say, “For God so loved the
world…”?
Now we must not love the world or the things of
the world?

9. THE MEANING OF “THE WORLD”
• The World: The Greek word kosmos, meaning
"ornament, decoration, arrangement" gives us
our English word "cosmetics." When the Bible
speaks about not loving the "world" the
reference is not to nature but to the social order,
the culture of the nations.
• The "world-system“ the philosophies,
worldviews, lifestyles, ways, priorities, concerns,
values and systems of the world that are not in
line with the Word of God or God’s ways

personality (mind, will emotion) and creative
attributes (gifts, talents, abilities) are a reflection
of God’s Creator image reflected in and by man

NOTE: JESUS DID NOT DISPUTE THAT THE AUTHORITY GIVEN TO
ADAM WAS NOW IN SATAN.

THAT IS WHY, JESUS HAD TO DIE ON THE CROSS, NOT ONLY TO
SAVE MAN FROM ETERNAL DAMNATION, BUT ALSO TO HAVE
THE RIGHT TO TAKE BACK THE WORLD FROM THE DEVIL IN THE
SECOND COMING.

8) Put glamour models on TV and on magazine covers to keep them focused on outward

9) Make sure couples are too exhausted for physical intimacy so they will be tempted to look
elsewhere.
10) Make Santa and the easter bunny bigger than Jesus to divert them from remembering the real
meaning of the holiday.
11) Involve them in good causes so they won’t have time for eternal ones.
12) Make them self satisfied. Keep them busy working in their own strength so they’ll never know the
joy of God’s power working through them.
