Correspondence Theory
Example:
Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia
Statement Fact
Coherence Theory
According to this theory truth is not
constituted by the relation between a
judgment and something else, a fact or really,
but by relations between judgment
themselves.
Example:
 All of UNS students should pass the
examination
 Lodya is a UNS student
 Lodya should pass the examination
Inheren Theory /pragmatic Theory
Something is true when it has function in human
life.
Example:
Religion
Syntactic Theory
The statement to be true if statement follows
the standard rules of syntax.
Example:
• Eats banana
• Loyal eats banana
Semantic Theory
The correct meaning is gotten by the correct
reference and also can describing in definitive
term.
Example:
etymologically the word philosophy comes
from the Greek “philosophia” which means
'love of wisdom'. Such knowledge is expressed
properly if there is a clear reference.
Logical-Superfluity Theory
A circle is round. Basically, a circle is
composed of point series with the same
distance. The form will appear the rounded
line.
