Self Help Group (SHG) Movement in India has been recognized as an effective strategy for mobilization and empowerment of rural people, particularly poor women and other marginalized groups.
Business travel is an important sector of tourism which includes tourists who attend congresses, conferences, exhibitions, incentive travels, events and business corporate travels.
Many countries have realized the significance of this part of tourism development and thus influence on its organization, promotion and realization. Business travel includes meetings, incentive travels, congresses, conventions and exhibitions. Because of that, both domestic and foreign literature more increasingly use the acronym MICE for these types of travel. This part of the tourist market is an extremely important part of business, especially when it comes to the extension of the tourist season, which increases the attractiveness of the tourist destination and the economic effects achieved by the development of this part of the tourist market.
The establishment and implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015 is a major milestone in the regional economic integration agenda in ASEAN. it offers opportunities in the form of a huge market of US$2.6 trillion and over 622 million people. In 2014, AEC was collectively the third largest economy in Asia and the seventh largest in the world.
The AEC Blueprint 2025, adopted by the ASEAN Leaders at the 27th ASEAN Summit on 22 November 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, provides broad directions through strategic measures for the AEC from 2016 to 2025. Along with the ASEAN Community Vision 2025, and the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC) Blueprint 2025 and the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Blueprint 2025, the AEC Blueprint 2025 forms part of ASEAN 2025: Forging Ahead Together. It succeeded the AEC Blueprint (2008-2015), which was adopted in 2007.
“not-for-profit, voluntary citizen’s group, which is organised on a local, national, or international level to address issues in support of the public good. Task oriented and made up of people with common interests, NGOs perform a variety of services and humanitarian functions, bring citizens concerns to governments ,and encourage participation of Civil Society stakeholders at the community level”
Sex tourism, although it has becalmed important to the world’s economy, has many serious consequences. Due to many countries dependence on the tourism industry it would be impossible to completely abolish the trade. It is important for the world, to be informed about the true consequences of sex tourism. This would dissipate many of the myths, stereo types, and behavior of tourist seeking a pleasure-seeking experience. The people must be informed of the drastic cost associated with sex tourism. Sex Tourism’s place in the future is still very uncertain. It will be interesting to see how the nature of the industry changes in the future.
