1. What is instantly effective about the
movie poster?
The film title is quite effective at first glance. The
film title has a glow effect, this is effective as
the title looks as if it belongs to Vegas.
2. How does the poster conform to it’s
genres conentions?
The poster conforms to the genres conventions.
By the image that they have used on the
poster. The image gives us an insight to what
will be in the magazine.
3. How does the poster challenge its
genres conventions?
The poster challenges the genres conventions by
the background that they have used. Usually
comedy posters have plain backgrounds to
make the image standout. However, they have
used this background to show the lit up lights
of Vegas.
4. Who do you think it’s target audience is
and how does it appeal to them?
I think that the hangovers target audience is
men and women aged 17 onwards. The poster
would appeal to men and women. Men would
be drawn to the poster as there are violent
aspects in the poster with the missing tooth.
Women would be drawn to the poster as they
will want to watch Bradley Cooper on the big
screen.
