17. DE LUXE OR ENHANCED GUESTROOM
Is usually more spacious and more elegant in design than the
standard room and is provided with more amenities that are more
sophisticated or elegant. It is sold at a much higher rate than
standard rooms.

SUITE
Is a much larger room with superior amenities and facilities. The
layout usually provides for a parlor or loving room connected to 1
or more full size bedrooms.
19. JUNIOR SUITE
A room with a bed and sitting area (usually a small lounge). There maybe a small,
separate bed, connected to the living room or parlor. It also called as mini suite.

CORNER SUITE
Is a suite room that is located on the corner of the hotel building. It usually
covers the same area that is occupied by two standard rooms.
PENTHOUSE SUITE
A suite usually located on the penthouse or on the top floor of a building.

A suite designed for a top executive, with facilities and amenities of superior
quality.

HOSPITALITY SUITE
Is more that sleeping room. It usually includes a functions room or a parlor for
entertaining guest’s visitors.

Thermo jug filled with cold water, accompanied by 2 covered glasses.
Safety materials - fire exit and evacuation direction signs placed at the back of
the entrance door, safety handbook containing guideline during fires or
emergencies, fire sprinkle.
Information materials usually placed inside a folder and contains Directory of
Services, Room service menu, in house telephone directory, house rules for guest,
guest comment form.

It is defined as ensuring that rooms are properly designated by their current
status, and assigned a new status as it changes.
To avoid miss – assignment room status categories/designations are grouped:
state of occupancy, state of cleanliness and state of exception.
