mechanical vibrator, a sine wave generator, and a piece of string. Through this lab
we were able to understand how to calculate the speed of a wave on a string. A
standing wave is defined as a wave that travels forward, then is reflected creating

If the frequency of a standing wave is increased then more loops will be created, and
because of that the wavelengths will be decreased. Throughout this experiment,

string. Then, we tied the string to the wave driver and the pulled it over the pulley
and attached a weight with a mass of 0.070 kg the then end of the string. Once we
did that, we calculated our predictions for the frequencies of the various harmonics.
After that we connected the wave driver to the sine wave generator and set the
amplitude knob to the midway point. Then we searched for the correct frequency to

Adult Comment: The fettuccine alfredo was delicious! The lemon juice in this
recipe gave the dish a nice balance between salty, sweet and sour. Also, the nutmeg
gave the dish an amazing depth of flavour. The appearance of the plate was also
really well presented. It was simple and clean with no sauce on the outer parts of
the plate. Amanda also prepared this recipe really well. At the beginning she made

manipulative treatment (OMT) provides pain reduction and improvement in vertebral

As a middle school student, I was oblivious to the unrealistic portrayals in the

school suffered with body image issues because their perception of beauty is what

prominent economist of free market in 20th century. Friedman was born in
Brooklyn, New York on July 31, 1912. Friedman earned his B.A. from Rutgers
University, M.A. from University of Chicago, and Ph.D. from Columbia
University. In 1967, Friedman was the president of the American Economic
Association and served as a economic adviser to President Nixon. In 1976,
Friedman won the Nobel Prize in Economics Sciences, for his achievements in the

building, and the entertaining and heartbreaking writing style of the author. First,

is written as a normal teenager and can be related and sympathized with easily.

The story begins with a description of the scene. There is an underground Cave and
inside of it, there are prisoners whose hands and legs have been chained since they

confused. He can t see clearly, because of the light, therefore he sees the shadows,
after that the reflection on the water, and finally the objects themselves. Now, he
knows that there is more than those statues and that they were only a copy of these

The Progressive Era was social activism and political reform between the 1890s
and 1920s. The reformers of the Progressive Era tried to help the corrupt
government, improve the not so great economic state for lower and middle class
and immigrants, and invoke social change. The reformers were also very effective
of making the problems of the 19th century known in America. Media
development and some innovation did an excellent job of bolding all the
corruption in the government and scandals of public health. Margaret Sanger and
Alice Paul were very important reformers during the 19th century. With their help,
immigrants and the lower classes were freed of the corruption and forced poverty
placed upon them by business and government. These reformers were very
successful in dealing with the problems at the turn of the century and really
beyond, Life for these lower class citizens was not so joyful before the Progressive
Era. Lower and middle classes as well as immigrants struggled. Most of them never
could earn a steady income or provide for their families. Many people were
attracted to the new Progressive Party due to the fact that it helped to give more
power to the workers and promoted economic equality. Much of the attractiveness to
the progressive party was as a result of the muckrakers. These were investigative
journalists who propelled Progressivism by exposing corruption, economic monopoly,
