Child labor fueled the Industrial Revolution. In (Document 1) Sadler a mill
worker states the he had started working in the mills at 10 years old. Most children
started working in factories or mines as young as seven years old. Factories found
it easier and more beneficial to hire children because they could be payed less,
were small and quick, and easier to control. The working conditions in factories
were terrible also. In (Document 13) Hebergram a mill worker has been told he will
die within a year because of the dust in factories and from overwork. Workers had
to work long hours with no breaks in between. Factories were filled with unsafe
machinery that usually resulted in losing a limb or your life. In addition factories
were not kept clean so it was easy for diseases to get passed

Baseball is a fun, exciting, and cheerful game. I love how I feel at home when I
walk onto the field. I always play the same position,second base,it is my favorite
position to play.I love when the ball is hit to me and I can scoop it up and throw it
to first.When we get three outs, we go to bat and I hit pretty good most of the
time. When we start the game, we take the field first.I head out onto the field to
play second base.When we go out there my friends play the bases around me, we

The protagonist in The Apartment is a guy referred to as Bud. Bud grew up in
Baltimore Maryland not too far from a police station where his father worked. Bud
came from a good family and attended private schools growing up. Bud had an
older brother that his father favored over him. As kids, Bud s older brother Ryan
excelled at many aspects of life while Bud s childhood was filled with misfortune.
